I do not agree if Juventus are quite strong in UCL, they are just like mediocre team. They won 2-0 against City because City are also under perform. A single match wont be considered if we are talking about the possibility of a coach will be sacked or not, it should be based on the whole situation of the team. Juventus are now standing on 6th in Serie-A and 14th in UCL, this is not a good result but not that bad as well. Motta needs more time to build and improve Juventus, I think he will stay at least for 2 seasons because Juventus are not type of club which like to sack their coach that fast.

So Juventus is going to beat the last season when it comes to draws.
They ended the 2023/2024 with 14 draws but they are now at 10 already before half of the championship is over.

They will be playing with Monza next time, the second last so after this result I have a feeling they will screw up that game too if anything Monza plays games with fewer goals overall than Venezia, 13:19 compared to 15:29 so it's worse for Juventus that usually struggles to get the one point with a late goal, they were a 1.4 favorite against Venezia, and they dropped to 1.8 against Monza, over two goals is already at 2.3!

They just trashed this one, they really need to go back to the blackboard and figure out what is happening and experiment for the next, it's one thing to aim at an unbeaten record but a different one to make 10 points in 10 matches, you're better of losing 5 and winning 5.

This win is important for Atalanta by helping them to maintain a first position with 2 points more than Napoli, and strengthening their ability to win minimally. They have very good attacking power but sometimes, they must manage to win only minimally. Such minimal win is not beauty, but it's important for collecting 3 more points and in a tight Scudetto competition with Napoli and Inter Milan, 3 points mean a lot.

Only 3 more matches, before Serie A completes its first half of season, and Atalanta are going to end this first half with a first position. It's a very magnificent achievement for an average club like Atalanta with limited budget for transfers and player salary.

As I expected, Atalanta will definitely beat Cagliari to maintain their lead at the top of the standings, although I see that Atalanta will not easily beat Cagliari because they were only able to score a goal in the second half in the 66th minute. Atalanta tried hard to create more goals, but Cagliari tried to match Atalanta's game, but Atalanta's defense was still very strong. Cagliari missed many goal opportunities, Atalanta's goalkeeper saved his club by making 8 saves.

I'm a bit happy when Indonesian players (Jay Idzes) create a 2nd goal on last minutes (83') to lock the winning. but, again, disaster on injury time almost happen when teams are too open in their defense on last minutes. I'm a bit disappointed, but Venezia facing a team that I think is pretty strong when they play at home.

After Atalanta got a hard-fought victory at Cagliari, I think it'll make anyone who was still thinking they were just pretenders and not serious contenders for the league title this season to start having a rethink. Gian Piero Gasperini's men were able to put aside their defeat against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League in the midweek to make sure they snatched three points from the home team. With what I saw in Atalanta's performances in the Italian Serie A this season, I think it's very safe to say they have all it takes to become Italian champions at the end of the season

Ranieri was hired to fill the place of De Rossi in this team while even though De Rossi did not have a bad performance and many people think the main reason for Roma's bad performance is the players they had while they got superstars like Dybala who can be a good advantage for this team and still he could do that.
I think now since Ranieri is about to leave even the next coach can't fix anything because the problem in Roma is not about their coach.

I understand that Atlanta won this game but this has to be a very poor result from them actually, I expected hey were going to do more even if it has ended they won by 3goals and their opponent has a goal or two, I would have said it's a commendable one but this result just be feeling like they struggled to win this game and they were playing against a top contender, but when you compare their form, you will agree with me that hey are much better but winning as a visiting team was a good one and they have gotten three points extra to get them climbing higher the table, their title race journey still remains firm.

Juventus' problems have not changed because they are always stuck in finishing even though their possession and determination on the field are very good but poor finishing makes them always get losses in several matches run.
The last 4 matches with 4 draws have made them now knocked out of a comfortable position even though previously the momentum of the Scudetto race was very wide open for Juventus.

These matches are supposed to be easy straight wins but seeing that Atalanta struggled so much to win Cagliari makes me have double mind about the rest of the matches. Juventus is playing at home which is also a nice option for a direct win but the are fond of playing draw with a small team in their home hence a double chance seems safer for me but the odd is so insignificant that one might not want to take such risk. But it is still good to try both matches with some funds since Atalanta have been able to win at away.

It's a bit difficult right now and it's evident for Juventus right now that they're struggling to secure a position with Venezia playing well in today's match.
The match has entered the crucial time and the score is still 1-1 now which indicates that it is difficult for Juventus to get full points in this match.

Juventus controlled the game but their finishing was really poor in this one and even when talking about the actual chances they had with Venezia were almost evenly matched even though the Juventus midfield continued to dominate but quick counter attacks and some momentum could have been exploited by Venezia in this one especially when crucial times like this could have lost focus and this could have been exploited well by Venezia.

Juventus are really struggling to beat Venezia, unbelievable... If they can't even win this game then I don't know how they plan to stay in the title competition. Sad

There is still time though but this kind of performance is really alarming for the long term. I'm curious about Motta's transfer plans in January and next summer both. This team would really make use of some better midfielders contributing more with goals and assists. This is their most inconsistent side. If they improve their scoring more then they can easily be a title contender in a short time. They already have a great defense in general.

It seems to me that we will see a game in which the team that has the best defense during the game will come out on top. I don't see it being a game in which we will see many goals, that's why I wouldn't bet on both teams to score, maybe I would bet on fewer goals, but there are no odds that are good for me so I won't place a bet.
