Tammy Abraham is out for the first half of the season due to injury. Hence I would understand Roma if they are interested in a striker signing. Because Abraham is one of the crucial attackers for Roma now. However Belotti has started to take responsibility recently. His performance against Salernitana was magnificent. But as Mourinho prefers a formation with two forwards in the attacking area it would be much better for Roma to have a replacement for Abraham at least for this half of the season.

But Chelsea don't want to send Lukaku on loan so I wonder if Roma are ready to pay the amount Chelsea want.
Seria A will be very competitive this season, that's pure facts concerning the system. AS Roma got hits with bad news last season, one of their frontlines will not be available for league games. Tammy Abraham is an important player for José Mourinho but he's ruled out for a lengthy period of time. He's not coming back any time soon, more reason for AS Roma to sign replacement for the player this summer. Perhaps they still got good quality frontlines in the team, they will take full responsibility of the club's performance and goal scoring.

It's a bit strange to see Lukaku, who is Inter's mainstay player, in a Roma uniform this season if this transfer takes place. But it's not a big problem for Lukaku because I don't think he should stay at Chelsea because Pochettino is unlikely to put him in the plans this season.

Indeed but we are already seeing several similat conditions, even between Milan and Inter. Well, about Lukaku, currently the relationship between Lukaku and the Chelsea coach is not good. Lukaku is not feel bad by his coach. So it's normal if Lukaku wants to leave his current club. Apart from Roma , AC Milan has also been linked with him, but I'm not sure about this rumour. Juventus are reportedly making a £35million bid for Lukaku, and the last one is Al-Hilal who is also reported ready to sign him. Will see, he will be to Serie-A or Saudi Pro.

Pavard is not official yet so I doubt he will play this weekend with Inter.

Remember Inter already lost 3 players who, according to the media, already "signed" with the club, do he will be the next one?

Yes, Rome must immediately bring in a new striker to cover the crisis that is currently hitting them. The absence of Tamy Abraham and Paolo Dybala is enough to make Jose Mourinho dizzy because he only has Belotti as a mainstay. I think the deal will happen but Roma and Chelsea also have to discuss enough details to make the transfer happen. The problem of salary is the main thing that must be found a solution because Lukaku gets a fairly high fee. Apart from that, it is reported that AS Roma also wants Lukaku on loan without a clause to make it permanent. I hope the deal happens and will be mutually beneficial for both parties.
I failed to get the rumor that Lukaku and Roma, but to be honest it's an interesting rumour.
Lukaku previously still really wanted to play at Inter, but Inter and Chelsea failed to reach an agreement so Lukaku is still part of the Chelsea squad. Meanwhile Lukaku has also attracted interest from Juventus, but that too appears to have fizzled out. Now Lukaku and Roma have been linked, but I also don't expect this to fall through.

Now the AS Roma team is approaching him, I don't think what Lukaku is currently experiencing is due to fans or other problems but it is true that Lukaku's performance has declined so much that no top team wants him anymore, Inter Milan does not want to continue the loan period because it is Lukaku's performance last season did not meet expectations and Juventus fans did not like Lukaku so the team was reluctant to recruit him. While at Chelsea, Lukaku was not included in Pochettino's plans, indeed, all of this because Lukaku's performance was already very bad.
But now we'll just have to wait and see when the transfer will be closed soon, whether Lukaku will play for Roma or he will be drowned by Chelsea.
In my opinion, Lukaku can be the right alternative for AS Roma to increase their strength in attack. Lukaku is not in stable form and I think that's because he was so frustrated with his status as a Chelsea player that he also made another decision that made Inter Milan furious by stepping over them to negotiate with Juventus. So before the transfer window closes, the Giallorossi management should immediately complete Lukaku's transfer policy. And I think he is very suitable if handled by Jose Mourinho.

Lukaku is one of those comfy players who can't perform when they are not loved by everyone. He has been a mercenary for his whole career, going from club to club telling everyone how much he likes to be there. I think he can be a good player, but he is one of the riskiest transfers a club can decide to make. It's really unknown what will happen once he is part of a team.

Lukaku scores goals frequently, but he is also someone who isn't even seen on the pitch on a bad day because he is too lazy to move and go the extra mile for the team. Sure on a good day everyone would want Lukaku, but that's the case for almost any professional player. On good days they are interesting to other clubs as well. But I like strikers who try to get something done on the bad days as well. That is not really one of Lukaku's strengths.
I do not think that getting love is the reason why he would be good or not. I think it's more about putting him at striker alone, and giving the ball to him constantly that makes him seem like he is a great player.

I kept telling people Benzema was the same and people argued for years, we are going to see how he plays this year, that dude had amazing players around him, giving him great chances to score, and he looked like a great player, even won ballon d'or thanks to that but the reality is that he wasn't good all by himself, his teammates made him look good. Same goes for Lukaku, that dude got all the assists he needs and that's why he looked so good and I think it's important to remember that Lukaku would have been nobody without his teammates.

I haven't heard this rumor clearly, it's just that I did hear some rumors linking AS Roma to this Chelsea player. I think it will be very hard for AS Roma, I mean when Chelsea want to sell Lukaku's game then it will be a long consideration also for AS Roma, considering Lukaku's game is also in a performance that is not expected. I am sure if Lukaku can show an impressive game last season, Chelsea will also keep him, or Inter Milan will make a permanent agreement after last season they only borrowed Lukaku from Chelsa.

Now his fate is uncertain, he has no place at Chelsea and he also hasn't found a club that really wants him.

Excellent move by Roma, if they want to do things right they have to get strong players
Maybe Lukaku won't be loved, but he's still a strong player and it's worth taking him to play with yourself
I like him as a player, maybe a little mercenary, but he's a good professional
Currently, Lukaku is not a good performer. This player has missed huge opportunities in his football career which made the fans angry as well as laughing. So I think it is better not to add this player to Roma team.
I believe he's a good player and he's a professional player, but for now he's not showing the kind of form that makes fans believe he can make a difference at the club he's at. I will not take issue with that because it is something natural, because most people including myself see players from their current performance.
I will not also say he will not be good at playing at AS Roma, because I have not seen it firsthand, I will judge after I see firsthand what he can show at AS Roma.
But the question is how big is the chance of Lukaku joining AS Roma?

Roma nearly got Zapata from Atalanta but the new player of Atalanta, Toure, got an injury so their coach Gasperini will need to keep Duvan Zapata at the club. It will no longer possible for Roma to have Zapata from Atalanta with a loan transfer. Lukaku still has no future in Chelsea and after the drama with Inter Milan and Juventus, he still is finding a club for this season. AS Roma keep their eyes on Lukaku makes sense because he has some seasons in Serie A and is not too bad striker. He will match with a transfer strategy from Roma, with priority for loan contracts and free transfers.

Lukaku never wanted Chelsea's return anymore even the appointment of Pochetino if Roma wants him it will be a good time to continue in Europe and side with his former bosss Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho usually likes to use strong strikers at his clubs from Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United and back to Roma. Lukaku is a favorite striker type of Mourinho and no surprise if he would prefer to work with Lukaku. After failing with Zapata, rejecting Mason Greenwood, Lukaku will be a very last target of Roma for a striker in this summer. One last week left and hopefully they will get the Belgium striker from Chelsea.

Maybe you're right, however it depends how much you pay for it, then in that case it makes sense to weigh the benefits against the cost of having it at home. I know very well that he is not loved by the fans, but in any case he is not a poor player.

I think Lukaku is not the player type that Pochettino likes. Lukaku isn't very fast if this website is correct about it. When we discuss speed for example, Lukaku is more on the lower end of highly agile and quick strikers. He has his very own qualities like defending the ball close to the opponent's box, but when Pochettino prefers a high speed style and has highly agile players in his line-up, Lukaku is not the perfect choice for him. But he scored reliably when he played for Inter so that could be in support of him getting signed or loaned to Inter again. I am not aware of the current status of negotiations, but it is not the best option for Chelsea to keep him.
Lukaku might not have the pace or much as fast as most coaches would want their front man to be but he's very reliable at crucial times and has proven himself at in England at Everton and Manchester United and also across England at intermilan in the previous season before this, he's very strong and of a truth has his own qualities he could hold off defender while guiding the ball to the 18yard box of the opponent.
Even when he was in a very good form, Chelsea still loaned him for another season to Intermilan therefore i don't think Pochettino would likely give him a chance in his squad the best thing for Lukaku is to move to another club where he'll get enough playing time, and since he's missed an opportunity to be signed by Intermilan and featured in the Champions league, anyways moving to the Saudi Pro League won't be a bad idea, cause he'll benefit financially and also get playing time.

If you feel Romelu Lukaku is better in terms of finishing than Mudryk, that can be a valid opinion. but Lukaku's bad character and not included in Pochettino's plans could have made Chelsea sell him to the Arab League, and that could happen, I hope Lukaku is exchanged for Benzema who is not included in coach Nuno Espírito Santo's playing scheme at al. ittihad,
If Lukaku's current traits are considered bad and are not included in Pochettino's plans as Chelsea coach, then is the exchange of Benzema and Lukaku included in Pochettino's and Nuno Espírito Santo's plans? Because the age of the two players is only five years and that might make a difference to their performance when playing for ninety minutes in a match. And if there is no peace between Pochettino and Romelu Lukaku at the start of this season, maybe Romelu Lukaku will find a way to get out of Chelsea and Pochettino himself might continue to make him no longer feel at home at Chelsea this season.

Lukaku never wanted Chelsea's return anymore even the appointment of Pochetino if Roma wants him it will be a good time to continue in Europe and side with his former bosss Jose Mourinho.
The way he was rejected immediately by Juventus fans s something I can't really understand he will cherish which ever club that accepts him at this current position.
The big name Alexis Sanchez has finally returned to Inter Milan after spending a season with Marseille last season. This was done too quick the both sides really wanted it happening. Experience player for free makes perfect moves.

Last season Romelu Lukaku didn't have good performance and he looked like he didn't have the passion to play anymore, when compared to Mudryk I think the two have something in common, namely starting to get worse in every game even Chelsea have also doubted Mudryk's game in the few months he during joined.

If there are other options then it is better to use these other options compared to choosing Lukaku or Mudryk.

Thus, I don't think Lukaku will play for any club in Serie A. After all, even Inter who basically already know Lukaku, have no plans to recruit him at this moment. What's more, Lukaku who also has been linked with Juventus, so of course I'm sure that transaction is also likely to never happen. But with an incident like this, then of course it would be a shame for a player like Lukaku who has potential, but is not maximized to be given playing time at his club. Thus, then perhaps the Saudi Pro League is the best path for Lukaku future.

Seria A favours the Belgium international style of game. He made quite good records in the Italian league, lifting the scudetto with the Nerazzurri under Anthonio Conté. Romelu Lukaku made spectacular performance for Chelsea on his debut, but he lacks consistency in league games, all this incidents happened when he made his recovery from a longterm injury, he couldn't fit in any longer and had most of goal scoring chances wasted before his very eyes. The blues loaned him to Inter Milan where he regained his form and did brilliantly in the club. Comparing Lukaku to Mykhailo Mudryk, they're quite different because Lukaku did good but lacks consistency to continue while on Mudryk is yet to impressed the fans and the coach. He's getting worse in each game, there probably nothing to be done, in my opinions he needs time.

Juventus have made a decent start for now. Despite not bringing new players much they looked strong against Udinese. The second half was one-sided for Udinese maybe but the reason why was Juventus' being already in the lead by 3-0 of course. Considering Udinese's not being a weak team Juventus did a great work.

Vlahovic was another surprising name in this match for me. Because he was below expectations previously but entered this season strongly. Consistency will be the key factor for him to be an important player here. If he keeps this up there would be no need for Juventus to look for a new striker.
Juventus still looks very sharp without Romelu Lukaku in the team, Juventus cruised past Udinese in a three goal match thriller last weekend this is an indication to say Juventus are still a good side with or without Romelu signing for them this summer. Both Chiesa and Vlahovic are good enough to lead the lines for Juventus in attack and provide goals and assists to help them win games comfortably.

Whether you like it or not, Pochettino and Chelsea management must take a stand regarding Lukaku future, the remaining transfer time is only one week away. The obstacles related to his move are in the amount of the transfer and the amount of Lukaku's salary. Apart from the skills possessed by Lukaku, he was highly valued when he was sent home from Inter Milan. Pochettino has one other option, to keep Lukaku and include him back in the main squad.

I agree with what you said, the choice to keep Lukaku could be the right option. Because Lukaku can be the right tandem for Nicolas Jackson, while waiting for Nkunku to recover from injury.

If pochettino decides to sell lukaku and buy more talented players,  I welcome him. But if the chelsea management does not sign any players to replace lukaku, then I would say keeping Lukaku with the squad is profitable for chelsea. Lukaku is a very talented player. Lukaku has not had too many bad performances with Inter Milan. Lukaku will be able to help stabilize Chelsea's performance if he adapts to Chelsea. But I would say Chelsea's attack is still strong enough. Coach Pochettino should work on his defence. There is still time to buy experienced defenders. If the defense cannot be strengthened, Chelsea's performance will not be stable.

With Lukaku, Sterling and Nkunku, Chelsea's attack is likely to be quite strong. However, coach Pochettino has few talented backup players when players get injured.

Roma are thinking possibilities to loan Lukaku from Chelsea but Chelsea hasn't respond it yet this rumour because their priority is want to sell Lukaku but until now there was no team who very serious want him although previously Inter Milan and Juventus are linked to Lukaku but seems these rumours won't be happend because whether it Juventus and Inter Milan has closed the possibility to gets Lukaku this summer
Lukaku currently still training with Chelsea U-21 and he even didn't gets jersey number for Chelsea senior team so it's clearly Chelsea doesn't want him anymore however summer transfer window deadlines has 7 days remaining although Chelsea priority was to sell Lukaku immediatelly but if there is no team who interested to him in the next few days i think big possibilities they will accept the offers from Roma
Chelsea never opening with loan option for Romelu Lukaku and their priority is sell him above 50 million euro, after Inter Milan offering under 35 million euro rejected last several weeks. Its very terrible with current condition from Lukaku, he not sell to other team but Chelsea put him for junior teams Chelsea U21, actually Lukaku have good relationship return back to Chelsea and want to get regular position.
And it's strange that Chelsea even kept a striker like Mudryk, who clearly in my opinion Romelu Lukaku is better than him in terms of finishing. On the other hand, Inter Milan was disappointed because Lukaku decision returned to want to improve everything but the offer was still not high so Chelsea refused, then from Roma side who was also rumored to be interested but so far this has not been confirmed by Chelsea. Maybe we'll see some laughs coming from the Saudi Arabian Club, that doesn't rule out, right?
I think comparing Mudryk Romelu Lukaku is clearly very different and still Lukaku's advantage is better than Mudryk and I agree more that Chelsea will keep Romelu Lukaku more and be added as a main player.
I wouldn't think Lukaku would accept an offer from Saudi Arabia if there was an offer from there but still Romelu Lukaku would prefer to stay in Europe to continue his career in bigger competitions in Europe but if you look at AS Roma it looks like they are having a meeting to confirm about the best offer and I hope AS Roma can get Lukaku to strengthen his performance because I think AS Roma needs this player because of his unsatisfactory performance in his last game.
