There was no decision to change the goal for Juventus Turin. There was a verdict delivered by a court and there was essentially nothing left that Juventus Turin could have effectively done about it. Deciding to change their goals sounds as if they freely accepted some penalty and they decided what to do next, but they weren't left with any choice but to accept the new reality and now Serie A and Coppa Italia are the two competitions that are left. They are not even playing the Conference League.

But maybe this comes to their rescue in so far as they can see whether they are actually ready for bigger competitions because their last season, even without the penalty, wasn't very good. They missed striking power and overall they've dropped a few levels in performance compared to the years before last season. This year it is time for them to make some significant changes and adjustments necessary to get back to the top.
When the transfer market is running low, Juventus movement this summer is very difficult. The sanctions they received had an impact on the reluctance of the players they wanted to recruit. Only playing in Serie A and Copa Italia, of course it will be difficult for them to bring in new players. But this will not undermine their status in the Scudetto favorite list, for the Domestic League they are still worth considering.

There is no other choice for Juventus but to focus on maximizing the potential of the current players, Massimo Allegri can do well I think.

It would be great if this could be realized because they need something like this after last season's many problems that befell Juventus.
With the condition of the players who are currently improving in terms of fitness and with the punishment that makes them realize that there needs to be a limit for them to control themselves not to commit violations like this again then indeed they can definitely return to focus on winning the Scudetto.
Allegri now seems to have no problems with the fans who previously urged him to leave and this is an advantage.

Now they just have to focus on performing better in Serie A which in a few days will start for the first week.
Juventus is facing one of the severe punishments; they made significant mistakes and are now facing FFP punishment. The Vecchia Signora will do all in their position of influence to return to their pre-ban position in the UEFA Conference League this season, which doesn't seemed to work out, entirely they will not participate in the competition, means they will focus completely on Seria A and winning the Scudetto will be their ultimate goal. Allegri Massimiliano, the manager of Juventus, is not relenting in his activities, displaying a formidable performance in order to restore his club's winning ways. Furthermore, there is still time for adaptation and club improvement.
With the initial hope that when this penalty exists and Juventus are aware of the conditions that make them accept and decide to change the goal of next season by focusing only on Serie A, it is actually a positive thing I think.
It doesn't matter when they can't participate in the conference league if their goal is to focus on Serie A and improve their performance in the coming season.

Club improvement? In what way? I think looking at the current squad it seems to be fixed and there will still be one of their cornerstones. Even if the rumors are still confusing about the transfer of players for Juventus but in the remaining time now that there are only a few days left for the closing of the summer transfer I think it is not possible to transfer at the last second.

Roma management  never build their squad by spending huge amounts of money. Mourinho knows this very well. That's why he kept Roma's attack unchanged. Roma will not be able to add star strikers to the squad by spending big amounts of money.  This is why mourinho wants to rely on Tammy abraham and dybala next season.

Roma's goal is not to win the title. They will be happy if they can perform consistently and qualify for the champions league. For this purpose, mourinho has been appointed as a coach by the team.  the team was not able to qualify for the champions league last season. However in the last few seasons, under mourinho, roma's performance has improved considerably. This season mourinho will aim for the europa  league title. I think we will see Roma in the europa league semi-finals.
Roma thrifty strategy this summer is significant; they only paid 2.5 million euros for Paredes and instead relied on loans and free signings. Their team is still largely intact raising optimism for stronger play under Mourinho direction. The team front line has not changed, which reflects Mourinho satisfaction. The team could be strengthened by frugal transfer strategies, but a Scudetto victory might necessitate large-scale acquisitions. The team ability to replicate Conference League success depends on the calibre of players it can sign.

Spalletti who left Napoli as the winner of Serie A it is now officially the coach of Italy.
Funny to say but the official reason why he left was "I want a break and I want to stay with my family more".

After 2 months he is already coaching back again.

Napoli is still one of the favorite for the final win with Inter.
It seems the rumor that he left Napoli because his salary increase request was not approved is true and the family is just another reason, but I don't know how much the salary of the coach of the Italian national team is if it is more than what he receives from Napoli. Maybe Spaletti feels that his struggle to bring Napoli to the Scudetto must be appreciated but he doesn't feel that.
Napoli's first match will face a promoted team like this will not be a difficult match for Napoli to get 3 points even though it is an away game.

The first match of Serie A will start to take place, Sassuolo vs Atlanta, even though Atlanta is favored in their away match but they have to be wary of Sassuolo because this team managed to trouble some strong teams in Serie A last season and this will be a match that is balanced with Sassoulu's chances to getting 3 points remains wide open because as a home team, they will be motivated to get full points in every home game.

Opening match of Serie A will begin today and promotion team Frosinone against the defend of winner last season Napoli, its difficult for promotion team have face with favorite team for winning Scudetto in this season Napoli but many change of squad list in this season looks Napoli is not really as favorite teams. Last season, Frosinone have impressive performance in Serie B after success become the winner and leaded table standings position with 7 points left from Genoa.
Not easily for predicting opening match actually Napoli is not full composition, Napoli leaves by Min-jae Kim after joining Bayern Munich and he has been crucial player on defender success help  I Partenopei winning Scudetto last season.

Opening match between Frosinone vs Napoli that at this match it is confrmed Kvaratskhelia will not be available to played because he has light injured and actually this could be a serious problem because we all know Kvaratskhelia is important player for Napoli so in this match possibly Rudi Garcia will played other players as the replacement of Kvaratskhelia such as Eljif Elmas or Giacomo Raspadori

But Napoli in the good shape because they had through an 6 pre season matches without loses so Garcia is very confident that Napoli will collect 3 points from this match besides that both teams has been met several times and Napoli can able to win with big scores from Frosinone very often however Napoli has odds @1.38 and i know this is not the best odds which we want but i think this is easy money because most likely Napoli will be able to overcomes Frosinone

Frosinone is not a strong team that will make Napoli afraid. even without Kvaratskhelia, I still believe Napoli can get a winning point in the opening game.
there is still Osimhen and Politano, Napoli will not be lacking in their attack line. Napoli will still get 3 points in this match. they will compete with strong teams like last season.
however, let's hope Kvaratskhelia doesn't last long with her injury. we know how important he is to Napoli. until big clubs like Arsenal and Newcastle are also interested in him.

On the other hand, this is also a risk that they have to bear because this is the aftermath of their own previous mistakes so they know that when the previous punishment exists it will definitely continue. The Conference League is indeed at the lowest level when looking at the comparison of the Champions League and Europa League even though it has no impact and does not mean too much but still it is quite unfortunate actually.
Currently there is nothing Juventus can do just have to try to come back from the beginning this season because that is the only way to restore their slumping condition, on the other hand this FFP penalty should be used as one of the warnings for them because they have experienced 2 similar cases in the past and the previous season they should have learned from this mistake.

I think, with the disqualification of Juventus from the Europa Conference League then of course, at least that might make Juventus become more focused on getting the Scudetto. So yes, even though there are penalties that Juventus must accept, but at least with these penalties it will also make Juventus have a good chance to consistently to get good results throughout this season in Serie A.

Also, at least the key Juventus players still have high loyalty to Juventus to stay and not leave, even though they are in demand by other big teams as well. Thus, of course, with the players owned by Juventus with such great loyalty, this will at least be a guarantee for Juventus to be strong at the top of the Serie A standings this season.
It would be great if this could be realized because they need something like this after last season's many problems that befell Juventus.

Because the team's coach has changed, I don't believe Napoli will experience any difficulties this season. The new coach may even be superior to the departing coach, so we shouldn't make assumptions about him just yet. Instead, we should wait until the season has begun to determine whether or not he is a good coach. Additionally, the fault does not always lie with the coach of a team.
Napoli suddenly won Scudetto in the past season so surely they will have difficulty to defend it in this season. Even they have same squad and same coach, it's very hard to protect their Scudetto but in reality they have a weaker team and a new coach.

I don't underestimate Rudi Garcia as he understands and is familiar with Serie A after having some years there with AS Roma in the past and he is actually a good coach. However, protecting Scudetto title with competition and challenge from AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus and AS Roma perhaps, will not be easy for him and Napoli.

Undoubtedly, it was because of Luciano Spalletti's incredible work at Napoli last year that made them win the Italian Serie A title and that's why many fans of the Italian club were not happy with the news of his departure from the club.
Spalleti helped Napoli to win Scudetto after more than 30 years but the club President wanted more, Champions League trophy in the past season. Napoli actually played so good in Champions League and media considered Napoli as one of best candidates to win Champions League. But see, it is unfair to sack Spaletti because they lost against AC Milan and had to stop at quarter finals.

They should appreciate all great things which were done by Spaletti to beat many clubs in Serie A to win Scudetto and even just quarter finals, it is an impressive performance of Napoli which are all more than their expectation when the past season began.

Maybe you are right, but your concern may also be wrong. Napoli is no longer coached by Luciano Spalletti, who managed to present the Scudetto last season. I also have doubts about the current coach, that's because I don't see anything special in Rudi Garcia.
Yes, Napoli's performance may not be the same as before. moreover they have a new coach. however, this might be different, especially regarding the tactics used and taken during the match. It was not easy for Garcia to bring Napoli to win Serie A like last season. It will be a serious challenge for him to bring Napoli to the way it used to be, at least he is expected to be as successful as Spalletti, but it will be very difficult. The expectations are the same, but maybe they will be different. So, however, Serie A, it might still be a mystery who will be the winner. Other clubs are also currently struggling to be better than the previous season. So, maybe there will be some performance surprises from other clubs.

I was reflecting aloud on myself, many of us criticized a lot what Spalletti did with the non-renewed players
But the bookmakers give it very strongly, just look at the odds. Perhaps we have been excessively harsh in evaluating the work of Napoli. We will see.
Rudi Garcia will definitely be able to change everything and he will update players for Napoli considering that the transfer season is still ongoing and Rudi Garcia can use it to strengthen Napoli by taking and selling several players.
From when the match options mentioned by @rendravolt I also have my own predictions namely Napoli, Milan and Lazio will win easily enough.
But this is only a prediction, so there are still many mistakes that could occur because in every game there are bound to be surprises that you can't predict.

Rudi Garcia will make several changes within the team. And because of this, it is not certain that Napoli will perform well and win the title next season. Napoli's performance last season was excellent. We are not sure whether they will play well in the next season. There is also no guarantee that Rudi Garcia will succeed. Napoli will play against Sassuolo in the second match, and Lazio in the third match. These two opponents cannot be considered weak. And I doubt whether Napoli will win these two matches. But it looks like he will get an easy win in the first match. Inter Milan, Roma, Lazio and Juventus are also expected to win their first matches. These teams are quite strong and their opponents are relatively weak
Agree, the changes that Rudi Garcia will make, most likely it will not make Napoli look good again like the previous season when it was led by Spalletti. If Napoli can't win against Sasuolo or Lazio, then surely they won't be able to win the Scudetto again, because we still have Inter, Ac Milan, Juventus, Roma, and there are lots of tough teams in Serie A which will likely make it difficult for Napoli to collect points.

But that is the same for every team in that competition. With the start of the Serie A tomorrow I think we will get some valuable information in terms of the shape of the various teams. There are some more interesting and some less interesting games of course, but I can see that there is already some pressure for Garcia to not mess up the early phase of the new season. It wouldn't be a disaster right away, but people will measure his performance in relation to what Spalletti left behind of course. They only lost one key player, which means that there are also no excuses in terms of transfers that could have weakened the team to a degree that good performances are less likely now.

I also think Napoli will face serious problems this season. The change of coach will definitely affect the team's game. Last season Napoli had no competition from the very beginning. This season after the changes, the competition will be from the first matches. Competitors like Milan, Inter, Juventus and Lazio have improved in the summer transfers.
Maybe you are right, but your concern may also be wrong. Napoli is no longer coached by Luciano Spalletti, who managed to present the Scudetto last season. I also have doubts about the current coach, that's because I don't see anything special in Rudi Garcia.

But whatever it is, Napoli still has quality players to perform well this season. They haven't sold many players apart from Min-jae Kim and Petagna, while Napoli have at least 4 newcomers in their squad. Rudi Garcia is very enthusiastic about his first match in Serie A, but I think he can win it considering that Frosinone are not a strong team.

Take Chelsea as an example. Throughout the course of the previous season, the Blues struggled to play well, and many believed that the coach was to blame. This led Chelsea to change coaches, and even the most recent one, Lampard, was unpopular with some fans. However, after selling some players and adding new, quality players, the team's performance improved.

Napoli can change the coach to ensure that the team performs well, and if not, the coach will be held accountable. However, in my opinion, the fault may not lie with the coach, so let's not assume that Napoli will experience any problems because the team still has some solid players, nothing has changed with the team, and they haven't sold many players despite knowing that a new lineup wouldn't be as effective as the old one. Instead, let's assume that Napoli will continue to add players.

The new coach is my consideration too, if not for that, the club is almost the same as the way it was in the last season, those few adjustments made can't change so much and we all know that Napoli will not be wasting money on big moves.
Yes, having a new coach is also a challenge for Napoli this season. Because, even though Rudi Garcia is considered to have the type of training and tactics as Spalletti, this is still different. Training is not only during preparation but on the field, how can the new trainer manage his team, can make sudden decisions on the field, and how can he manage his team properly when playing live. This requires excellent skills. the hope, Garcia really could do better. So at least Napoli won't drop so much and moreover be able to survive and play very well like in the previous season. Because after all, other clubs in Serie A this season are quite different, they have started to rearrange their clubs to be even more solid and good, surpassing last season of course.

Napoli's plans for this season will definitely not go smoothly, a change of coach will be a serious problem because there will be several tactical changes that will be made, even though Napoli are still occupied by almost all players last season, it will not make them appear solid again. Apart from that, the teams in Serie A have also started to improve and I am sure this season will be very competitive, but what is clear is that I am starting to be pessimistic about Napoli's chances of defending the Scudetto.

There is good reason to have doubts but regarding what? That Rudi Garcia is a bad coach altogether or that he will not achieve what Spalletti achieved? Because it is important to be exact here. Who did believe that Spalletti would play an astounding season like the last one with Napoli before the season actually started? Nobody thought that Napoli would cut through the season like a hot knife cuts through butter. But this makes it so hard for Garcia to copy the success. It is already hard to get close to it as the Serie A teams are quite even in the quality of their teams.

I really wonder what Juventus are going to do this season. Last season ended like a nightmare for them and they have been disqualified from European competitions right after that also. They can't be a part of the Europa Conference League this season due to that.

Allegri is still keeping his job but Juventus might lose their patience about him if not much thing changes this season too.

On the other hand they haven't made new signings much. I hope they don't have any problems with their midfield due to injuries especially.

honestly i can't understand what's going on with juventus, they just stopped in time, they don't make any big signings, it looks like they don't want to spend money but expect to get good results with the same squad every season in recent times, o di maria he was at juventus, but strangely the juventus coach didn't always put di maria playing from the beginning of the game even when di maria wasn't injured, the sad part about it is that when di maria played it was visible that he contributed a lot to the team, but as di maria didn't play regularly he preferred to move to benfica in portugal and playing at banfica di maria is scoring goals and playing at the beginning of games

then I realized that the problem was not di maria's lack of performance, the problem is with the juventus coach, there are many players who have left juventus and that in my opinion the juventus management could have offered something for them to stay longer in the team , today Juventus is a team that I don't know what they want to achieve in Serie A, their squad is not that great, but the coach of Juventus, despite not being able to make the team play beautifully, he prefers to strengthen the defense and with that strategy he has been able to win the games, anyway, I don't know if that will be enough for this season for juventus to win the serie A

tomorrow the games start, napoli will play against the recently promoted to serie A, I'm talking about Frosinoni who will come to this game to win since they play at home and against the champion of last season if they win in this game they will be more motivated for the next games and it would be a great joy for their fans, while napoli will play with their new coach so things won't be like last season, at least that's what i see on paper, but that can be changed on the pitch, so this will be a game to see how far the difference in napoli's performance will be with this current coach. also tomorrow we have inter's game against monza, it will be a little complicated game for inter, because monza caused headaches last season, we'll see if inter can win this game
