My problem with Jose's tactics is that he doesn't attack much. He's kind of too careful, which can be a good thing when used properly but not at all times. If you look at their game against Monza, they scored first, then took their feet off the gas and that gave Monza the opportunity to respond. The same thing happened against Milan. I can't blame him tho, its a pattern of football he has used all his career and it has won him a lot of trophies.

I also believe they're more focused on the Europa League and it's affecting their league form. They also need to focus on the league because if they don't win the Europa they won't be playing in the champions league. In fact, at this rate, they might not even make it to the conference league. They don't have many tough matches in the league so if they win and hope the other teams drop points they will be okay.

The one factor that makes roma had the downturn form is when juventus had the deducted points regained back and roma who used to sitting comfortably on top 4 had to give the place to juventus due that FIGC decision to 15 points deduction penalty revoked , everyone at top 5 position would of course angry.

As roma, lazio, atalanta and inter milan who competing for the top 4 but then juventus jumped to second place.

One thing that made AS Roma fail to maintain its best shape was the decreased quality of its players in the few matches that had been played which made Jose Mourinho a little angry with the negative results his team got. In addition, strong opponents are one of the weaknesses of the Roma squad because they cannot balance their game when facing a relatively strong team.

If there is no change in the next match then Roma fate may be to finish outside the top 4 because they will find it difficult to catch the team that is above their ranking.  Dybala can't be blamed in the last few matches because he has put in quite a lot of effort in every match but he hasn't succeeded in bringing Roma to win and compete in the top 4. The current point difference with the 4th ranked is 5 points which is a bit hard for Roma to chase him.

Indeed Roma's main problem is finishing these days. We can understand this easily from their most recent results in the Serie A as well. Because they have been able to score one goal the most in each one of those matches. This is just horrible for Roma and this caused them to lose points in all of those ones as well. Actually I don't think their attacking line is full of bad players. For example even only Dybala and Abraham should do great normally.

When I first saw the news about Dybala to join Roma I got excited about him. Because I was thinking that he couldn't show his best performance at Juventus but he could by joining a different team. But he can't meet all the expectations. Abraham was doing good before but now he isn't that much productive. I can even say that Dybala is better than him as for the general statistics.

We have not been seeing much from the attackers of Roma in recent times. Roma used to  have a good attacking side but they have lost their rhythm. But most of their problems come from the defense. The last game against Inter shows how poor the Roma defense have turned to be this few weeks. Lukaku's goal was a clear indication that the defense need to be rejigged. Mourinho will be disappointed by the performance of his team. I don't also think that Roma is overlooking the league and focusing on Europa league alone. Just like every other clubs that wants double or even triple trophies , Roma also desire to be part of the trophy winners this season. It is quite unfortunate that they might not be able to qualify for the champions except they win some games and expect other teams to lose their game.

Actually, Roma has some good attackers (Belotti, Tamy Abraham, Dybala, El Sharaawy, Pellegrini). Unfortunately, those attackers can't perform well. There is something wrong with the training of the attackers. Roma should have a change in training their attacking line, they may need harder training for shooting accuracy. I personally think that Roma needs to hire a new trainer for their attackers. Although, Roma needs some new wingers because they are lack of quality wingers. In addition, Roma may consider changing their tactic or formation. Apply a tactic that they can have more attackers, this can improve the chance of scoring goals, too.

In fact, in my opinion, teams that are at the bottom of the standings often make surprises when facing big teams, as Cremonese did when they faced AC Milan two weeks ago where they were able to hold AC Milan to a draw in that match.  Apart from that, on paper, the top-ranked teams are certainly highly favored when they face low-ranked teams. Only luck will come to them if they can play better against stronger teams.

Now in this match I might be more interested in the Champions League match which will bring together Ac milan vs Inter Milan. because this is a derby match, surely this match will be quite interesting to watch.

Empoli team managed the second win in a row today and they have beaten salernitana one of their rivals for relegation this is a great result for them since they surely are safe from relegation now that they put 11 points distance from spezia and only 4 games left.

to be honest, in this match (Sassuolo vs Bologna) I find it difficult to guess which team will win, especially since the strength of the two teams is balanced (unfortunately the final score is a draw). other discussion, many are currently discussing about Roma in the UCL next season, I see it will be difficult for them to get that especially since Roma's performance is not that good and it will be difficult to finish in the top 5 until the end of this season.

Roma has the weakest offensive line of all the teams who are contenders for the European club competitions. That is their biggest problem. Against Feyenoord in the Europa League I really liked what I saw from Dybala, but even he is very good at shooting the one game and not so good the next game. Now he has been a decent scorer this season, but he still disappears in some games.

The game against Leverkusen is interesting as it could end with many goals. Usually Leverkusen is know for games with high scores, but Romas defense is more or less ok so far.

At least for now it seems Rome is indeed focused on the semi-final match in the European league against Leverkusen. I hope that at least Roma can improve their attack line so that they become better at shooting accuracy and taking advantage of the opportunities they get. because it was clear that Roma's forwards wasted more of the chances they had. But yesterday's Roma defeat by Inter Milan I still consider it a natural defeat. Because after all now we know Inter Milan are in their best form in preparation for the Champions League Semi-finals.

Correct. Sampdoria will officially be relegated from Serie A. And I think Cremonese and Spezia will follow soon.

Roma have to get back its position in Serie A or win Europa League which isn't obvious to happen whether in the national or international leagues.
Mourinho isn't happy with what happening for sure nor the management will be in case of nothing special happening this season.

After today's defeat, Sampdoria officially relegated to Serie B. The other two teams will be one from Cremonese, Spezia, Verona or Lecce.

I think the teams that are in the relegation zone at the moment will have a very hard time getting out of the zone. Because next week these teams will face strong teams from the top. Which of course will have the potential to make them have to be willing to lose points again and sink into the relegation zone.

The match is

Spezia vs Ac Milan. (Spezia, who is now ranked 17th with a total of 27 points, will certainly find it difficult to face Ac Milan. I agree, if they end up winning Europa cup, that would be good enough for both league and UCL next season and they will do much better. Obviously that requires them to keep their good players or replace them with equally good players in order to have a better team next season.

I think Roma do not have to consider that as a good or bad thing, they just need to consider it as job needed to be done, this is why we need to believe that we have to check it carefully and see if Roma would be good or not, that should be the case. I personally think they are good enough to beat everyone and win the title, not saying they will, but they are good enough to do something like that if they play good enough, their best version is capable of getting that cup.

Roma have games against some not so strong Serie A clubs ahead of them. Fiorentina is probably the toughest opponent for them. But we must not forget that Bayer are also strong in the Europa League. I also think that these matches are important for Roma now. Home games and Europa League matches are a very serious schedule for Roma. I don't think they will qualify for the Champions League.

Even if Roma have only a small chance of reaching the Champions League zone this season in Serie A, they don't have to allow themselves to lose a lot of points in all the remaining matches of the season. Roma's current form is not good, of course it hurts their chances in Serie A, but you are right that they have another chance if they manage to win the Europa League.
