To be honest, i don't even like the way of roma played in the match against atalanta. As you can see that above, if roma had only 1 chance against atalanta. It has very big ball possessions, but roma was only playing the ball at the middle without even thinking of creating various attacks that could make the team win the game. roma was just playing passively. I would like to call that if roma didn't wanna win the match.
I don't like the way of a team who didn't interested to create score but it was only consistently passing in the middle of field. What a horrible performance from as roma.
It's really stupid to see that with 64% ball possessions combined with 14 shots but only 1 was on target.
Roma did played very bad in the first half and they got two easy conceded goals which make the match more difficult for them when they had play at a home-away stadium in Bergamo. After the first goal from Lorenzo Pellegrini, Roma did not come back but got a third conceded goal which is a serious mistake from their goalkeeper. It's unbelievable that how an old and experienced goalkeeper like Patricio could make that mistake.
That goal nearly nailed the defeat for Roma and they god another bad news. It seems Dybala got a serious injury which can damage their squad strength especially attacking power and they will have more troubles in Europa League semi finals and remaining matches of Serie A.
Hopefully after having a full checkup, Dybala injury is not too bad and he will come back soon as AS Roma really need to have Dybala.
This win for Atalanta and also a defeat for AS Roma, together with losses of Lazio, Juventus and Inter Milan make Serie A more exciting. From Juventus to Atalanta, difference is only 7 points and from AC Milan to Atalanta, difference is only 4 points. They are all competing for only 3 slots in top four as the first position belongs to Napoli already.
