Having this kind of competition for now is not sustainable though, eventually some of these teams will leave the rest, and won't be as good as others and the gap will grow. Maybe two or at max three teams could stay close to each other at the top, but not five and we will not see all five be this close to each other for long. Soon, some of them will start losing points, my candidates are Fiorentina and Lazio, because they were not expected to do this well and the fact that these two teams doing as well as they have been doing lately is definitely not something we expected to see and won't happen for too long.
Both Fiorentina and Lazio will eventually start to lose, and when that happens the top three will stay ahead of them. Atalanta, Napoli and Inter are great teams so I do not know which one of them will win, I still think Inter is the best out of them all, they won it last year, they are a great team and could get wins more than other teams.
Atalanta also has the potential to lose their place in the future if Inter Milan and Juventus perform more consistently in the future. Fiorentina and Lazio are indeed not teams that can be relied on in the competition for trophies, the consistency they show is likely to be temporary. Juventus has great potential to rise, so far 13 weeks, they are still able to maintain an unbeaten trend. For Napoli, leading the standings with a difference of one and two points with their closest competitors, is clearly not safe.
Inter Milan as the defending champion, is still the most favored team in the competition for trophies this season, and I think Napoli revival cannot be fully trusted either. It is very unfortunate, AC Milan looks quite far behind, and it seems they do not fit with manager Paulo Fonseca. Serie A this season looks more competitive than last season, not only the fight for trophies, tickets to European competitions will most likely be fought over fiercely until the end of the season.
