This is quite surprising news, to be honest I didn't follow Nigeria's match and that caused Osimhen to suffer an injury due to the international break. But even though Osimhen will be absent when defending Napoli, I think they are still strong with the existing squad, but maybe they can't score that many goals considering that Osimhen is a goalscoring machine itself. A narrow victory over Milan in the game later was enough to secure the top position for Napoli.
It is definitely a setback for Napoli there is no doubt about that but they are good enough to beat Milan even without him as well. It would have been a lot easier if they could beat them with him, it would be better if he was healthy, but in this situation I would guess that it would be alright even without him.At the very worst case, they could keep the other team not scoring, keep the ball, and just make sure Milan doesn't score, and that means they can get Osimhen back on the next game and beat them there.
