Even though in the last few matches Atalanta have only been able to win 1 time against Empoli, now they are starting to threaten for 4th place in the standings belonging to Milan. So far they haven't performed so well, but I hope that last week's victory can be good capital for Napoli to continue their winning trend in the next match. On the other hand, they still want to get the ucl zone for next season and it is not impossible that Atalanta will get the ticket considering that Milan and Rome are currently in declining performance.
Now they are 3 points away from 4th in the standings now occupied by AC Milan. Atalanta, AS Roma and AC milan are not doing well, so I have doubts in every game they play. Yes their inconsistency leads me not to have much faith in them. Even so, the struggle for the Champions League zone is now more interesting with them making lots of mistakes like that.
That's right, consecutive defeats have made the competition for a place in the UCL next season even hotter. What's more, there is still Juventus who will be ready to enliven the struggle for this place, which is now starting to consistently win. However, I think if some of these teams cannot improve, it will be difficult to compete with their opponents, especially Milan and Rome, where they are now starting to be threatened.
I'm quite sorry if AC Milan has to get out of the Champions League zone. Previously, even though they were quite strong and lasted quite a long time in the 2nd position, their performance slowly decreased drastically.
Going into 2023, in all competitions, Milan have lost seven matches, the most of any team fighting for a top four finish. The Rossoneri have conceded 21 goals this year which is the third worst in Serie A behind Cremonese and Salernitana and now face a huge threat of breaking out of the top four.
If you look at AC Milan's remaining schedule, it is very unlikely that Milan will survive, unless Milan are able to raise their game to a high level. Pioli's men are also struggling in the Champions League and that also breaks concentration.
