An old-fashioned title fight between Dortmund and Bayern Munich, old times can be revived, we can safely say. Union Berlin is still in a great 3rd place, but the teams behind it are also getting close very quickly. Still good of Leipzig that they have found the connection with the top in Germany again after a mediocre start. That team also belongs in the top 5 of Germany, of course. In the German league, no less than 4 teams go to the CL, so that would be a nice goal for Union Berlin, but whether it is feasible is another story. They are also still in the EL and make a very solid impression in all matches. Only Bayern Munich seems too good, I think Dortmund may not even be much better than Union Berlin.
Although it would be something epic, I don't see that Dortmund can reach the level of Bayern, Bayern are very motivated at the moment, they want to win everything, Muller has woken up and what we have seen is that for now what Bayern most wants is to qualify in the UCL and bring the UCL to Germany.
Now, PSG is not doing badly at all, Bayern have to think about how they are going to stop Mbappé and Messi, who are the players who can turn the game around, the fact that if they now have a goal ahead PSG can draw and win, so I think Bayern are more focused on that than the Bundesliga itself, because they know that the Bundesliga is a competition they can dominate more easily.

Bayern Munich 2-1 VfB Stuttgart: Bild player ratingsIt happened! A Bayern fullback, Alphonso Davies, got a ‘2’ (his counterpart, Kingsley Coman, earned only a ‘4’ so the average remains 3). This was maybe the most confident, commanding performance Davies has turned in for some time, and it was absolutely a joy to watch the Canadian out there strutting his stuff.
So Bild scored this, as manager Julian Nagelsmann appeared to also, as a 3-4-2-1. Could Josip Stanišić be in line to start opposite Kylian Mbappé on Wednesday? In parts of the first half, the young Croatian looked rusty in his decisions and his positioning, but he grew into the game.
