I think that is a bit more psychological right now, it's not directly related to the current situation of how the team is and all that but more like they are not really that great in the mind. They are realizing that this season is a lost season already and they are not playing very well because of this.

When you tell a player "you are not going to be champions this year, it's certain" and they know it, they won't play as well as they could, and even the second place will look further away eventually. I am guessing that it will take a bit of time before they could get back to playing decently, it's not an easy task to recover from a mental block.

Serie A is probably the most unpredictable league of the top 5, I guess. Even La Liga seems more "logical", because in Serie A there can be regularly such matches as Atalanta-Lecce, where Lecce hit two shots on goal and both became goals, and Atalanta woke up only on 87 minutes, although the first goal was missed on the 4th, almost two halves, but pulled to the last, when it was too late to recoup. Given that before the start of the match the odds on Lecce's victory was more than 7, it all seems suspicious.

Oh crap, now Lecce can double their lead to 2 goals through Alexis Blin. I didn't think that Atalanta would be 2 goals behind, this made it difficult for them in the remaining matches.

Great performance from Lecce, I never knew they will be so difficult for Atalanta. They played impressive and more better than Atalanta. It took Atalanta time to score there first goal which they tried in equalising the game which they couldn't. Atalanta needs to improve to get more points.

It is really hard to understand the big teams in the Serie A sometimes. Now Atalanta are being defeated by Lecce away. It is still 2-0 and the match has been pretty interesting as well. Because Lecce have three shots in the whole match and both of their shots on goal have ended up with goals. Atalanta have a big dominance but still can't score even once.

They dominated the game, but they were unable to penetrate the defense built by Lecce to score.

Juventus have become really inconsistent and unreliable. They were gaining their form before the sanctions hit them but right now they're really struggling. They won their next 3 games in a row after losing to Monza and then went ahead to draw with Nantes at home in the Europa league. As far i can tell the league is over for them, they can't win it this season so their only hope of silverware is the Europa league and the Coppa Italia which they will be playing Inter next I the semi finals. They can fight to get to get an Europa league spot in the league and that's me being generous. They should place all their focus on the Europa and Coppa Italia.

I just thought if I were a Juventus player, I would be really pissed if we had actually won the title but lost it because of a penalty. Now since Juventus is so far behind I think that even without the penalty they would have not had a chance this season.

Napoli is able to perform well in the Serie A league. The rest of the teams are not performing well against Napoli and the teams playing against Napoli are losing. Napoli have great potential to win the title.

That is their goal right now. To win Scudetto with a few games left and that would literally go down in history book of Serie A titles. With Inter winning yesterday against Udine , there is still a bit of pressure in Napoli players but overall I think Serie A is already for Napoli.

Now , regarding UCL , I would love to see Napoli reaching the finals and producing a big shock by winning it too but if Napoli faces any team left in UCL right now , I think they will beat most of them and only have problems with PSG and City I guess.

Both Inter Milan and AC Milan continue to impress me with their consistent high rankings. Also, they have to stay where they are and make the Champions League.
