Inter Milan should be more realistic to think of top four first and after jumping into top four, they can wait for slippery form from Napoli. If Napoli have a slippery form in future, 11 points in difference will be reduced a lot if Inter Milan can collect as maximum points a possible from their matches.
Inter Milan's performance this season has not been very stable, making it difficult to catch Napoli's points, Inter Milan has collected 30 points and is 11 points adrift with Nopali at the top of the standings. I agree more with chasing the top three in the standings than chasing the Scudetto, because realistically this is more likely to be done by Inter Milan, considering that the top three and four are only one point away from them.

Inter Milan must also be active in the winter transfer market, considering that the striker they currently have is less aggressive and has a relatively old age, so his performance is no longer dangerous as a mainstay striker. The second half of the season will be even more competitive, so Inter Milan needs a reliable striker who can make a difference.
Yes, if you look at it from a realistic perspective, it is very difficult for Inter Milan to catch up on points from Napoli. They should focus more on securing a place in the top 4 to take them to the Champions League. We need to see Napoli's performance drop drastically if we want to see Inter Milan's chances getting bigger in the race for the Scudetto. Even so they have to keep trying, we don't know what will happen in the future with Napoli.

hmph..
Inter Milan are still suffering from the departure of Lukaku two seasons ago. Edin Dzeko came but he is very old striker and even he can help them to have goals and contribute to their team formation and operation, he is no longer able to do this in all matches.

Lukaku returned to Inter Milan this season but he is no longer a Lukaku we knew two or three seasons ago in Giuseppe Meaza. More injuries, less appearances, less contributions and worse performance in general.

I often see players who leave Serie-A and return to their former clubs, most of them don't perform like the season as they are joined for the first tim. There are many factors, from poor performance and some who experience serious physical problems. Lukaku suffered a serious injury, this made him an additional list of failed players. IMO

Recently, I read a rumor if Marcus Thuram become Inter Milan target. His contract, will expire next summer, i think it will make it easier for Inter to sign this player. However, Inter must compete with Tottenham.

Inter just have such a potential in this season but they can't reflect this on the standings. Otherwise they are the second most effective attacking team in the league right now. The number of goals they have scored is nearly the same with Napoli. But they haven't been doing good in defense I'm afraid. They have conceded so many goals which dragged them down.

However there is still a long season ahead. Even if they don't catch up with Napoli they can still finish the season at the second position actually. They just need to improve their defending and this will help very much.
Inter the previous seasons were more powerful. This season they were doing good but not enough. They lost many top players throughout the years which made them more vulnerable... I don't see them first in the actual version of scudetto where they have rivals like Napoli
Inter was very productive this season that they are as the team with the most goals along with Napoli but their defense is so poor and from 15 matches Inter only can able to gets 3 times cleansheet and besides that many things has change why Inter performance is not so well this season that from the departure of several important players such as Lukaku to Chelsea and changed manager from Conte to Inzaghi

Last season runner up position is good for Inter considering Inzaghi only 1 season to train Inter and Copa Italy trophy also indicated Inzaghi seems promising coach for them and that's why the management has decide to extended his contract but now 11 points below to Napoli makes Inter out from race title because it's hard for Inter to playing consistent such as Napoli and maybe second position or third positions will belongs to them at the end of season

inter is not in good form this season just look at them they have swallowed 5 defeats so far isn't that classified as their performance which is not very consistent. Lukaku, who was brought in in the window last summer, has also not been able to make a big contribution to Inter Milan at the start of this season because he has been haunted by injuries. Inter Milan is classified as consistent in the Champions League because it managed to qualify for the round of 16 after trying hard enough to get rid of Barcelona.

Inter Milan is already out of contention for the Scudetto title this season because Inter Milan and Napoli are 11 points apart. Inter Milan may in the domestic league only aim to finish in the top 4 in the second half of this. they are more focused on the champions league which still has a pretty good chance for them.

I don't really agree with saying Inter are on a different level to Napoli now because it would be really funny to say the difference in level where they are actually quite the same in terms of players.
It's just that at this time, not only Inter but other big clubs in Serie A (besides Napoli) always experience the same problem every year, namely failure in inconsistency and this is what makes the difference.

@ginsan when Lukaku came back I was 100% sure that he would help Inter to win the league title, but sadly that didn’t really work out and his return hasn’t had that desired effect so far. Furthermore if Napoli can maintain the momentum then there’s no stopping them from winning the league title,  however if they slip then team’s like Inter are always waiting for an opportunity to capitalise on their mistakes.

The level that these two teams have between Napoli and Inter is still the same, but their current strength may be slightly different because you see the condition of the Napoli players who are always enthusiastic and able to work as a team well so that they are always superior and always get wins in Serie A matches.

We all saw it, Napoli are still the strongest team at the moment although I don't think Inter are a difficult opponent for them the levels are different  Cheesy
Among other teams I see Juventus is the most aggressive lately slowly they take their place in the top 3 and they have the best defense with only 7 goals conceded
But in scoring goals they are low meaning that Juventus strikers are less productive and they could buy a new striker in the next transfer market.

Inter are strong as a team, they have strong players.
But as a company it sucks, in fact the players are not cohesive, they are not a real team and they don't play as a team.
The real (historical) problem for Inter is this
It's not a small problem, it's been going on like this for years and years
then lose they get angry and insult who wins

I'm feeling confident about especially one thing which is Napoli won't lose any of their most important players in January. Osimhen has been one of the most attention getting players in the team together with Kvaratskhelia so far. These players will be the focal point of some big teams next summer indeed. Napoli will have a really difficult task to keep them in the team after having an unforgettable season. But I think they will also be realistic that they can't keep them as long as they get a solid offer from a bigger team.

Napoli would just look for making as much profit as possible from the transfers of such players next summer. They can still convince some other talented players after that as long as they have a solid season in the league and Champions League both.

Napoli has put up a very impressive series in recent weeks and months. I don't think they will lose their shape completely either. The next match is a very important and difficult one. Out at Inter Milan. So there is no quiet income for Napoli. But how Napoli have played football in recent times, they should be able to beat anyone. If Inter lose this game, I think the championship is over for Inter anyway. Maybe AC Milan can get even closer.

Osimhen is providing extraordinary traction in the transfer market this time. if he is released by Napoli, of course, it's a loss. but seeing so much interest from big European clubs. we just have to see how it bids.
Osimhen has contributed many goals for Napoli this season. of course, a loss if you have to let it go. especially the condition of the league which still leaves a lot of matches. the current position is certainly not the safest for Napoli. Milan and other teams are ready to shift Napoli if something goes wrong with them.

More precisely, there is half a season left for all the matches that all teams in Serie A will play and that is enough to change the position of each team in the standings. Indeed, Napoli is not safe yet, given the competition from several teams Ac Milan, Juventus and Lazio are still wide open for the Scudetto hunt this season. So don't be complacent in advance for Napoli even though their average difference is 10 points.

It is clear that Napoli are not safe even though they are 8 points ahead and the competition still has 20+ matches left
But if they are able to hold  undefeated record then their potential to win the tittle is bigger and the team that will be their main competitor is Juventus, I see Juventus having improved performance.

Anyway, Napoli for me is safe enough at the top of the Serie A standings this season because I believe it's impossible for Napoli to continue to lose. Even though anything can still happen, a team that can be consistent until the first half of the season, at least they will have the ability to maintain good average results in each match.
At least that is one of the reasons I have, because I believe other competing teams will certainly not be able to consistently win, because to maintain victory in every match is a difficult job.

Even the strongest teams in different leagues, at least they will also experience defeats as well as draws.
With such a comparison, I believe that the ratio of wins and losses for Napoli and the teams under it can never be completely consistent. Because they also have a busy schedule and also changes in the line-up which will certainly occur after the transfer market. Therefore, to maintain victory throughout the season is something that is very rare.

there are still a few games left this season and we don't know if they can maintain their position at the top of the standings, although it might be difficult for the teams below them to catch Napoli but don't be happy just yet because we don't know if Napoli are still playing consistently well
A few? there are still lots of games to come soon. Napoli will have a very long time to go to defend its position. It's currently at the top of standing with huge gap to the second place which owned by ac milan. The problem may occur once some players of napol leave from the club.
There are lots of rumours about some players that potentially out from napoli but these rumours have not yet confirmed caused by napoli has not released any statement regarding the transfer for its players. I can hope only napoli will try to defend its players from another club.
That will make napoli can still continue the positive trend in italian league.
Maybe it doesn't look like it will be easy, but I think it will not be that hard neither. Lets see how it will be but I personally believe that the best thing to come out of this would be a Napoli championship.

Any team that wins too many in a row is a trouble, Juventus already won too much, Milan got it last year, either Inter or Napoli should win if you ask me, Inter already got it a year ago, so Napoli is best. Sure there are still plenty of games left to play but that doesn't mean Napoli will be suddenly a bad team, I feel like they are a good team and will stay a good team for a long time. They have build a good roster that should be good enough to get the title.

It is better to be 8 points ahead than behind, we cannot think of 8 points as being a small advantage, did we expect that Napoli be over 15 points ahead? That is not possible, except the teams behind them are in a very bad form, but that is not the situation. The seria a is so competitive over the last 3 seasons that 8 points gap is a fantastic advantage, and Napoli would love the position they are in now. People seem to have forgotten that last season Ac milan won the title with only 2 points advantage, if Napoli resume the season in the same way they were before the world cup, they are surely going to increase this 8 points advantage and win the seria a title very early.
Eight points for challengers Napoli, this is not an easy matter to pursue, because they had to go through three defeats for Napoli. If you look at Napoli's performance in the first half of the season, it is very unlikely for AC Milan and Juventus to catch up with their points. There is no need to doubt Napoli's consistency this season, they are very strong and competitive in Serie A.

So far we haven't been able to make an accurate prediction of the club that will win the Scudetto, because we haven't seen the second half of the season continue, at least three matches will be a reference for the strengths of Napoli, AC Milan and Juventus, because it doesn't rule out the possibility of adding players in the January transfer market. So that the strength of the team will be more solid and competitive in the second half of the season.

Anyone know about this lol.
Actually, if you look at Napoli's current condition, they are still very good and indeed these 8 points can be said to be quite large, but given the consistency that sometimes Napoli is difficult to do at the end of the season, like the previous few seasons, it could be a little smaller. Hopefully they can correct past mistakes with the current squad which is looking pretty good so far.
