Serie A last season was also a fairly hot competition. now Serie A fans I think it's more like the Premier League. That's because it's not just the dominance of a handful of strong teams fighting for the title.
the club must have second-tier players who have the same qualities as their main squad. at least every position should have a proper replacement.
Not to mention, this season it looks like the players will also be bothered with the Qatar world cup agenda. It looks like the league schedule in Europe will clash with FIFA's agenda.

Serie A teams are not as strong as Premier League teams. There are few star players on the team. But the quality of the teams is almost equal. AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Napoli, Lazio, and Roma are all performing well. AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Napoli battled for the title last season. However, Juventus and Roma have strengthened themselves for next season. And so I think the next season will be more competitive than the last season.
actually can not be compared between prestigious leagues in Europe, but football lovers place the English Premier League as a reference for other leagues. That's a natural thing because the English Premier League presents a very hot competition and is very unpredictable compared to the League in Europe. But I have seen significant developments in the Serie A competition where the League is no longer dominated by one or two teams.

Mourinho is looking to build on last season’s performance and they are among the most active clubs in this season's transfer window. I think Mourinho is looking to add more attacking forces because of their involvement in many competitions. Tammy Abraham and Dybala cannot play all games because fatigue and injuries must set in at one stage for one of my then. Belotti will definitely fit in well because he has experience and I trust José Mourinho to bring out the best in him. Since Belotti is coming on free so it’s just salaries settlement that they will be think about. It’s a good business for Roma. I am expecting Mourinho to bring in more new faces to his squad before the transfer deadline.
Mourinho can't keep forcing Tammy Abraham and Dybala to keep playing in all the games that Roma have played, injuries can happen at any time due to fatigue, I think the coach has to take that risk into account. Searching for the ideal substitute could give Tammy Abraham and Dybala fitness, in a game in Roma favour, Mourinho could play a substitute in the second half. Roma mission with Mourinho this season is clear, after having success in the conference cup last season, now Roma want to repeat success in other competitions.
Roma really cannot continue to depend on their mainstay players. especially when they are injured, of course, it will affect Roma's performance. I think that's what happened to Roma in Serie A last season. and clubs and coaches should be aware of this and make an important decision in purchasing new players to back up players in the event of an injury.
Seria A is getting tighter, I don't think it's just Juve, Milan, and Inter anymore. Roma should be able to talk a lot about the race for the trophy.

If Roma can successfully get Wijnaldum and Belotti, it will be a perfect summer transfer for Roma and Mourinho. They are preparing very good for a new season, from transfer market to pre-season training. Do you know that Mourinho rejected the club president offer to bring the club to the USA for pre-season training and friendly tournament. The coach does not want his players to have difficulty with travelling too far, jet lags, changes in their biological rhythm. All are good preparations for a new season.

They are ready for not only top 4 but also Scudetto competition.

It is not like Premier League that has a higher quality than Serie A. I am a fan of Serie A but this fact must be recognized. From players to coaches, Premier League have better resources than Serie A.

A similarity is their competitiveness for the title competition is high. Serie A in the past 3 seasons has become more exciting with many clubs can join the title race and top 4 race. The comeback of AC Milan, Inter Milan and AS Roma will make the league becomes more interesting.

Roma are a candidate to be one of the serious contenders for top four this season. It is hard to make a choice between them and Napoli for that now. But Roma are getting one step ahead with their transfer moves recently. It is important to start the season nicely and we will see which side will do it better. Aside from that consistency is the key factor. Roma were out of the top four race very early last season. They will need to improve their consistency level this time.
some teams also experienced the same problem. especially those who are at the top of the table, because they are also competing in other competitions. it makes appearances in the domestic league will be disrupted. because of course, it makes the performance of players will decrease when playing too often. those who have enough reserves of good quality can of course cope with this.
Yes, it is true, the high intensity of the match will greatly affect the players, especially on their fitness. This must be anticipated by rotating players, this is one option. This is where the results of their pre-season matches are tested, because in pre-season they should have prepared for this by giving playing time for the second players.

I agree with you
defending the title will be difficult for Milan, but in any case it is good news
a hard-fought championship is a fun championship, I'm happy with this situation
even if I lose more bets

Yes indeed, defending will be more difficult than taking it. AC Milan bear the heavy burden of having to defend it, if not at least they can play well and still be a team that is competing for it. Because if you look at it, now most of the Serie A teams have started to show their movements, especially the teams that will compete at the top.

just look 2 seasons ago
won Inter and failed to keep the title in the second season: won by Milan
I enjoy a championship like this

the Brazilian championship, for example, is a deadly bore
the same 2-3 teams always win

how boring

It seems that if Mourinho really wants to bring in Andrea Belotti maybe he wants to have a good squad depth especially in strikers,
besides that maybe Andrea Belotti will fit into the scheme implemented by Mourinho,
We'll see what happens with the rumors later
The status with a free transfer may benefit Roma a bit. He did not renew the contract with Torino. I don't know what the problem is but a loss for Torino. But Roma have Tami Abraham to play alongside Dybala. Maybe Mourinho just wants to make him a striker alternative. I don't know if he agreed to accept Rome's offer if it was only used as abraham's or Dybala's cover. Roma are astute they are looking for a lot of players with free transfer status, it is advantageous because they do not need much money.

New season is coming and I'm very excited. Because finally there have been a big competition in this league for two seasons. We have witnessed Inter and Milan becoming the champions consecutively. It is kinda great that Juventus' dominance has ended for now. This has made the league much more attracting. For new season it is really hard to make a prediction about the champion now for example. We will see what teams are going to make the best starts.

Attracting for who? Not for sponsors.

Serie A is actually the 4th League in EU as money from TV.

Here in Romania , as Latins , we watch both Serie A and LaLiga much more than Premier League or Ligue 1 of France so yea , I think it depends geographically where people are watching certain leagues more than one but if we made an overall , then you're right , Serie A is 4th right now as EU leagues. However, I do remember well in years of 2000 that Serie A was 1st for so many years and with what we are seeing right now , I must say that Serie A is growing from year to year. The problem is that , Italians teams don't perform good in UCL even if Roma won the Conference league.

Are you referring to Pogba for the talented midfielder? He is likely to miss half of the new season due to injury. Of course Allegri know what to do, there are also some other players in Pogba's position. However the dominance of Juventus had already ended last season, they did not dominate at all. For the new season, it is even still questionable if they can compete with Milan or Inter.
I think without the presence of Paul Pogba it will be very difficult to win this match, because of inter Milan's revenge they have very good strength and in their last match when Juventus against Intermilan never got a win and could only make a draw, so I think this is the job of the coach Juventus should make their team contribute well and be able to score goals even though a 1-point win is already very good.

I agree that Milan will have a hard chance at winning the title, they havent brought any big player and some of them are injured in their team. Napoli looks weak this season to me aswell. I think we can expect a lot from Roma and Fiorentina this year and see them at the very top
Yep, AC Milan squad looks not really competitive enough, especially on the attacking and midfield lines. They are only strong on the defensive line, but seem rather weak on the other lines. Most Milan strikers are old players (Ibrahimovic 40 and Giroud 35), they only have 1 striker with an ideal age for a productive striker (Origi 27). But I think Milan can't rely on Origi because he just spent most of the time on the bench in his previous team (Liverpool). It is hard to trust a player that rarely played previously to be the mainstay player now. While for the midfield line of AC Milan, they still can't get the replacement of Franck Kessie, so AC Milan lost 1 main player on the midfield line.

In addition, AC Milan become hard to win the title because other big teams in Serie A have improved their squads. AS Roma, Inter Milan, Juventus, and even Fiorentina have signed some top players. I believe the competition for the Serie A title will be tighter than previously. But I assume Inter Milan still becomes the favorite team to win it.  Wink

Savic would definitely be a great improvement for Juventus but we all know why that won't work right now. They are not going to actually get him and spend that much extra money on something like this when they are staring down the barrel, that would be causing them to overpay and nobody really wants that. I hope that they could find a way to get it done, but I have a feeling they won't actually get it done in time.
Juventus would definitely have many competitors to get him such as Arsenal and MU. They must have another plant if they can't get the signed contract because not many midfielders have skills like Savic out there. If I were Alegri, I will look for a midfielder who has potential but with a low budget because it's just a temporary while Pogba has treated.

Charles De Ketelaere The Belgian midfielder will play at AC Milan and according to my calculations it seems already landed at there, previously being a mainstay of Club Brugge in the last three seasons, the new retainer is a versatile player and still young. His ability will be the best choice for Milan, besides that he also has a good posture and height.
He already appears in Milan today and will do medical check soon i think Milan is very clever get this player besides he still young he can play on every position in the team such as striker, attacker midfielder, winger even he used to can played as winger back so with De Ketelaere in the team AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli can played him according to Pioli strategy and Milan have to spend 36 millions Euro to get him i think it's not overpriced if we see his potention and he will get 5 years contract until 2027

The problem is that due to the World Cup taking place at such a strange time, the contradiction between the interests of the player and the interests of the club only increases. Pogba wants to be ready to compete in the World Cup and is planning his recovery schedule for the event. The club obviously wants Pogba to have surgery as soon as possible in order to recover quickly and play as much of the season as possible (but in doing so, most likely missing out on the World Cup). I don't know how this issue will eventually be resolved.
It will be interesting how they find a middle ground because on the other hand Juventus are well aware that they must do their best for Pogba's recovery but on the other hand the World Cup is one of the big dreams of the players. Apart from showing their quality in the national team, it also gives them pride when they are at this big event and obviously Pogba doesn't want to miss the opportunity there.

This morning I saw the news that Pogba will meet with professor Sonnerri Cottet in Lyon today to decide whether to have surgery or not, but I don't see any continuation of this news yet. Apparently one of these days we will find out how he will act, but I assume that he will refuse the surgery and choose a conservative treatment that allows you to recover faster but involves re-injury and more risk.
This is likely to be 2 things that are very difficult for Pogba to decide because indeed one of them must be eliminated between the world cup or his future which will be prone to injury.
It definitely needs some consideration I think and Pogba knows that.
Now it's up to him whether to give up the world cup, or take the risk of not having surgery but his leg will be vulnerable and dangerous.

I don't think, Juventus dominance has ended because their coach is fully prepared to revive the team again so that they can increase their performance in this season. Since Juventus has finally gotten a talented strikers and midfielders ,it showed that they will be able to stand against Milan and other strong teams in this Italian league competition. I think, it will be difficult for inter and Milan to perform very well in next season because other teams managements has used a huge amount of money to sign in talented players that will help them to achieve next season title.
