Roma didn't start well against Verona maybe but the red card was a big help for a comeback later on.

However Roma still struggled to score the goal to win. Thanks to the youngster Volpato, they managed to score two more goals and won by 3-1. It was his first league game with his team by the way. It must be feeling really special to have a big effect in this win I guess. Roma are still keeping their presence in top 4 now. They have an important Europa League game ahead now and right after that they are going to face Lazio home. They had better prove their seriousness level by winning both of these games. Lazio aren't an easy team to beat at all but they lost to Salernitana home so Roma might catch them off guard maybe.

Rome's biggest chance was Verona's 10-man stay. If Verona didn't have 10 people left, it would have been very difficult for Rome. Yes, Roma are in 4th place now after beating Verona with a score of 1-3. Of course I never thought it was safe for Roma considering Lazio and Inter are only 1 point away from them. If Roma win over Lazio in the next match and Inter lose to Juventus, then Roma will be a little safer to stay in 4th place.

The current standings are really interesting, but unexpectedly this season Napoli have been very smooth to remain an unbeaten team in the last 12 matches. Napoli really breathed a sigh of relief after Milan lost the match against Torino, now Napoli lead with a 5-point advantage over Atalanta.
