Yes Atalanta gained 22 points by beating Napoli and moved up to third place. This win was very important because it also helped them because they secure spot among top four teams in league. For Atalanta this victory is especially important because they are working hard to qualify for Champions League. Getting into Champions League is big deal for them. You have a good estimate of Napoli. But personally, I seem to be too carried away by the hype that shows Napoli's good performance every week which makes me have too much confidence in Napoli. So I really couldn't believe it when I saw Napoli lose by a landslide score by Atalanta. I might have guessed that Atalanta was a very tough opponent. But I didn't expect a score that big and what's worse, Napoli didn't even manage to get even one goal back in that match.

The key in football is to preserve the high level until the end of the season and Napoli are not there yet – they need to be consistent in each match if their dream of the title is to materialize. With such talent they should be able to perform like that, but the challenge in the coming matches to sustain that form is going to be the challenge.

At the same time, the city does have prospects which cannot be dismissed, and they are located in Atlanta . They have a good team and the prospect to give a strong competitive test. If Napoli test the water, Atlanta will use any chance to fight their way to the top of the group. As both the teams have their target clear and wide this particular season of the event is going to be an interesting one to look forward to. Both has a good opportunity at surprising all of us with their fights at the top, which will also help make the league more interesting.

Crazy results, but especially Atalanta is having a great winning streak so far. Maybe it was not as surprising as it looks since Atalanta has by far the best offense in Serie A. Though I thought that Napoli may still have the upper hand here as they had such a solid defense and got away from Inter Milan without conceding a single goal away from home. But Atlanta has had one of these games with unbelievable conversion rate. 3 shots on target, 3 goals. That reminds me of the final against Leverkusen in the Europa League. They have been scoring a crazy amount of goals in recent weeks and I think they shouldn't be underestimated in other competitions either. They have 5 points in the Champions League so far without conceding a single goal. I think that is a better performance than it looks given that one of their opponents was Arsenal.
