Udinese's attacking lineup is not strong. However, AC Milan conceded two goals in the first half. If Milan's goal is to win the title, they need to play better and try to strengthen the defence. If the defence is not strong, it will be difficult to win the title. The defenders will definitely need to play better if they want to win against Inter Milan, Juventus and Roma. Coach Pioli will probably take the necessary steps to strengthen his defence.
AC Milan just had a good match to show their strength as a champions of Serie A. They shown a very good operation in tactics and their strength is spreading well among players. They won that match not by a single shining moment of a player but by a magnificent match of a whole team.
Time to improve for AC Milan is available and from their transfer strategy, I see they want to reduce average ages of their squad. That means they aim at very long term growth. The Serie A title in last season is just a beginning of their bigger and more ambitious plan.
there are still some big teams that haven't played in their first game of the season, so the first round isn't quite over yet and there are still many surprises happening at big clubs in Serie A like Juventus, Roma and Napoli. What caught my attention was the Verona vs Napoli match because as we follow developments in the transfer window, Napoli sold several important players in their squad, will this affect their game this season.
AC Milan, Inter Milan and Atalanta won in their first match day. AS Roma, Napoli and Juventus will try to do best to keep up the race with competitors. Will big clubs all win in the first match day?
Napoli has worst transfer for the season amongst biggest clubs in Serie A. Not expect to see they fall in performance because I generally want to see as highest competitive in Serie A 2022 - 2023 as possible. It would be the best for general competitiveness and growth of Serie A.
