You were right (at least for now). I checked the quotes and to my surprise the bookmakers are already accepting bets for the next season (I wonder what kind of madman will freeze his money for such a period) and they are now as follows:
Inter 2.75
Juventus 2.85
Milan 3.70
Napoli 12.90
Juventus and Inter are listed at about the same level, while Milan is more significantly behind.
Quotes are interesting for early birds but maybe it's to early to place a bet. Both odds for Juve and Inter can provide some "surprise" but It could be better wait the end of market transfer... What Is the quote for "others" ?
There are the big four (look at finances) and then there are all the others:
Roma 17.00
Atalanta 22.30
Lazio 50.00
Fiorentina 80.00
Monza 475.00
etc. >500
But if these four (plus Roma) show good competition until the very last round, it will be an interesting championship.
I believe that I am not a mad man, but last year's champion as the third in the list? Don't get me wrong nobody insists that they will be the champions, but it doesn't sound possible that they have a lower chance than Juventus right now. I would take that bet. I am going to check the outrights on the places I wager and see if they have something like that.
If there is any place that offers anything above 3.50 for Milan, I am taking it. Doesn't mean I will win it, it just means that they are looking much better with those odds compared to other two. Juventus finished much worse than Milan and being above them for doing a few small moves doesn't make sense to me, they are not "that" much better.
Milan was an underdog to the very end, Inter had an easier calendar and even lagging (if I remember correctly by two points) from Milan they were considered favorites. Bookmaker quotes are often strange. But in any case, I will not make these bets, since I am not satisfied with such a long period of their execution.
