I assume once he is back and fit, he will extend the contract but if he won't be able to perform as he used to be, he will retire or play somewhere else.

I still think it would be better if he retired because even though he is a good player, but his current age is not conducive to a professional career, plus his current injury is quite severe, so he needs to rest for approximately 6-8 months there.
this is not a good thing because indeed during that time he also continues to grow and it would be better if he enjoys time starting from now.

Origi is an experienced and skilled player, he deserves to be Ibrahimović's replacement. He may be not the same as Ibrahimović, he has different characteristics. But if he can contribute well and improve Milan productivity in scoring, it surely will strengthen the whole players' morale. Well, I assume he has an opportunity to prove that he has the right player to replace Ibrahimović's role in the field. Now, it depends on how Origi can adapt well on AC Milan tactics.

He is currently nursing an injury as we await he's full recovery and return. Ac Milan has currently won the Italian Seria A and qualified for the Champions League, Paulo Maldini ( Director would want him to stay and further hes contract ) also Ibrahimovic loves the Champions League and would want to be part of them Next season, he's Physicality, Goal scoring abilities and Mental strength is needed.

Don't compare and don't think Divock Origi would be the replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, that's no where near possible. Ibrahimovic is a unique player.

You know it right. Inter are really not in a wonderful financial condition currently. It must be the reason why they found the Lukaku deal much more profitable than signing another striker by paying a big transfer fee. They are going to pay an amount only around 8 million euros for his loan deal.

By the way I heard something about Lautaro Martinez's condition too and it is said that he is very happy at Inter and doesn't want to leave now for sure. This is good news for them undoubtedly. I can't wait to watch Lukaku and him playing together again! Cheesy

I also want him to recover from this long injury and return to football, preferably in a club like Milan, where he will continue for at least a year. This is what winning the title does to you normally. We all know Inter won last year but had financial troubles so not only they won the league AND sold Lukaku, they still got worse this year if you look at the team and the roster and how much they spent on buying and how much they earned from selling. Milan is the opposite, they are doing a great job and they will get better for the next season as well.

I guess that they are on the road to become clear favorites this year, not just because they got Origi, but because they are not getting rid of their best players that quickly and adding players on top of it. This could be the reason why they would win next year if they do.

That is if Ibrahimovich remains in AC Milan next season, IIRC a decision is yet to be taken by the club and himself if he is going to leave or stay, you know he has a serious injury and he will be out for quite a long time, and considering his age, who knows the shape he will be in when he returns. Having said that, i believe Origi is a wonderful signing for AC Milan, Inter have re-signed Lukaku, and Juve are about to re-sign Pogba, that only means that the competition for the Seria A title will be fiercer next season, thus any team that does not strengthen in key areas will have no chance of being champions.

This is a pretty good move, especially for this season, it's clear that for a few months Zlatan will also be absent for Milan because he is in the recovery phase from injury, so Giroud is the only support. But, now with Origi, it's clear that it will be better for Milan especially in this case if you look at last season Origi's performance was actually quite good but indeed he was only a rotation player at Liverpool which made this not very comfortable for him.
