Romelu Lukaku haven't had great seasons with big clubs in England, first with Chelsea were he was loaned severally before sold. He did well at Everton though but was that great at Manchester United before moving to Inter Milan where he was incredible, back to Chelsea and he's back to his less effort self.

Every season doesn't go well for every player. Lukaku is a good and experienced player and he has still ability to score. There are a lot of things like team, environment, management to adopt and these don't suit for all the players. I hope he will come back strongly in the next season.

As for the competition I can't speculate further, because I haven't seen the full power of the Serie A team, but I hope it can happen. Inter Milan are definitely smart and are trying to get back Romelu Lukaku for free from Chelsea, it is reported that they have offered a loan offer with Chelsea paying the wages of the talisman (which ofcourse Chelsea has refused). As it stands, it is only better if chelsea can get the loan deal finalized and get past the failed transfer bringing in Lukaku for 100m

Inter are still having financial problems at least in the last two seasons, therefore now Inter are trying to approach players who are out of contract.
As Mkhitaryan and Dybala are two players whose contracts expire this year, therefore Inter tried to get both players. Regarding Lukaku, it's true that
Inter are planning to borrow Lukaku first for one season, after that Inter may buy permanently if Lukaku's performances are satisfactory. Because Inter
did want Lukaku to rejoin Inter, but because Inter currently do not have the money to buy Lukaku again, therefore Inter took the option of borrowing first.
The problem is Lukaku still has a long contract at Chelsea, and also Chelsea have just spent 120 million euros to buy Lukaku. So there is
a possibility Chelsea reject Inter's offer.

I think, Romelu lukaku will have more opportunity to perform well in inter than Chelsea because Chelsea has more standard strikers that can demonstrate well without Romelu lukaku. Romelu lukaku performance in Chelsea is very poor in this season which is not giving their coach hope to allow him to remain in next season. I believe Romelu lukaku will really help inter team to perform well in next season, if they accept him into inter, because he will like to prove to the whole world that he remain among the best players in the world.

he played a very good role at Inter but the problem for now is whether it is really possible for Inter to throw so much money to redeem this player.
They obviously have a problem with finances and not only that most of the clubs in Serie A have a problem with this and of course bringing Lukaku back to Inter obviously costs quite a bit there because it is impossible for Chelsea to let go of this player at a loss again.

In this case it is arguably not quite commensurate but I still feel that Di Maria is not meant to replace Dybala's role there considering in this case I still believe that Di Maria's role will be kept to manage the midfield temporarily even if Dybala is now gone but in terms of their striker Dusan was still there even though it wasn't good enough to focus on just one player but they still wouldn't be okay with this either.
other than that I still feel that the role of Zakaria and Bernardeschi will also be better if there is someone who manages the midfield well

One of the reasons Di Maria left was not because PSG did not need him anymore but Di Maria's contract which had expired, indeed PSG had the option of a contract extension but PSG did not use that option. So in this case Di Maria was not thrown out but his contract ended and also, basically with Dybala leaving it doesn't matter too because Juventus already have Dusan Vlahovic who is also still young. Therefore, if Di Maria and Pogba are really going to play for Juventus next season then Juventus have a really great midfield plus Dusan Vlahovic it will be a great attack.

I think Lukaku will be able to prove himself at Inter if he does move there. The World Cup is coming up, where Belgium are favourites for the final match. I think Lukaku will do well during the championship, after a poor season at Chelsea. If he has a good performance at the World Cup, it means he will definitely play well for Inter after that.
