I was hoping for Roma to maintain a decent winning streak after seeing them defeating Spezia on the last match week. But after I saw that they had an away game against Atalanta, I didn't give much chance for Roma to defeat them. And on paper, Atalanta were really overwhelming them a lot. And I can't say that Roma played better than Atalanta in general, but they were incredibly good about taking advantage of their goal chances. And they got a huge win like 4-1. It was a very productive day for Roma as 4 of their 5 goal attempts ended up with goals. Great job!

I haven't seen the game, but going to watch the summary of the highlights. The 1 - 4 is quite impressive and probably wasn't really expected. Even the goal for Atalanta was an own goal. For a team scoring as much as Atalanta, not scoring in a home game against Roma is a surprise to say the least. They left big points on the table while Roma took home some very important points. Some of the most important points of the season I would say.

Atalanta - Roma match today was just something special. It was one of the matches that surprised me a great deal these days. Because even though Atalanta were highly the dominant side and found many more goal chances than their opponent, Roma still managed to destroy Atalanta by an incredible result like 4-1 away. Roma came out against Atalanta well prepared, and they succeeded in winning. I never thought Roma can be so cooperative. Their performance in the match was great. And also their defense was solid, which made it difficult for Atalanta to score. The only goal Atalanta managed to secure was a own goal mistakely shot into the goalpost by Cristante. Although, losing the game didn't affect Atalanta's position on the standings, they are still occupying the 3rd place.

With Roma you honestly never know,they play so hot and cold that you cannot predict easily what will happen in their matches. Mourinho made an amazing strategy against Atalanta and was able to destroy them in an away game and thats not what we usually see in derbies.

For Atalanta it's just the fact that all the players are coming after huge efforts in UCL in order to get past it and those efforts are being now reflected into Serie A games.

atalanta was already showing signs that he didn't have good defense, I noticed that in their game in the champions league

this was an unexpected accident, i was so optimistic atalanta could win this match that i very confidently placed a bet there, but the reality was different and atalanta lost by such a big score.
even from 90 minutes actually roma only defended and defended but roma was so solid and their counter-attack was so surprising that out of 8 kicks only 5 went on goal and 4 of them were goals.

Atalanta had a chance to score their second goal by Zapata that was rejected by VAR. If they scored it, the match can be different because Roma will have more pressure from Atalanta after they equalize it. Anyway, it was rejected and Roma scored 2 other goals to close the match with big win result.

Not only Mourinho but also Roma players were very happy with any goal they scored espcially when they felt they are closely to a final win result. It is understandable because it means more than three points. It helps them getting back to winning and they have believe that they can beat strong teams in Serie A and fight for a position in top 4. Atalanta currently is in top 4 and Roma proved today that they can beat Atalanta. So why not Juventus, Lazio, etc. They can fight and dream big.

1-4 for Roma at the home stadium of Atalanta. yes it is a big surprise from Roma and Atalanta too. Mourinho is a good coach with strategy to make opponents surprised and today Atalanta are trapped by Mourinho and Roma.

I did not expect this result hours ago as well but it happened and Roma got good motivational result to move forwards. They can aim at top 4 of Serie A again even there are so many challenges till the end. Also with their resource and unstable performance, it won't be an easy task for them.

what's the matter, roma won impressively and atalanta seemed to be moving in this match. Their counter-attack is insane and their defense is really solid in this match.
they seem to be reborn even though they continue to be bombarded by atalanta attacks but their defenders are very solid and Tammy Abraham deserves thumbs up in today's game

That's right, they are currently arguably the most solid team for a team that doesn't have any special players and is being used by other players even if you look at their current productivity which is quite a good thing because they managed to score 38 goals against the opponent's goal and this is a goal second most currently in Serie A after Inter with 48 goals.
On the other hand, looking at Roma's game, they are very difficult to predict, sometimes they are very good, but sometimes they are very bad in competing and this makes it easy for them to lose points.

Wow, AS Roma was able to look impressive when they beat Atlanta with a score of 1-4, even though many predicted and favored Atlanta, but AS Roma was able to thin out all assumptions and managed to beat Atlanta with a score of 1-4. This result makes AS Roma go up one strip to rank 5th with 31 points. A pretty good result for AS Roma and continuing the winning trend after last week also managed to win from Spezia.
