As Inter have sold Lukaku to Chelsea, they need a good striker immediately. They have Lautaro Martinez, I know that. But they need another good striker who will adapt to playing alongside Martinez and to the team as quick as possible. There has been some rumours about them that they are aiming to sign Edin Dzeko. It would be a nice transfer but I would rather a more qualified and young striker.
Inter needs replacement after signing out Lukaku. They probably need a good striker. Edin Dzeko is not a bad choice, he scored 7 goals last season in Serie A, and 6 in the Europe League. But, inter needs more young and talented players, because they will be playing in the Champion League, and will definitely play against big clubs. The transfer window is set to close on August 31st.

Inter Milan will not get a proper replacement for Romelo at the moment. Lukaku experienced and skilled. Inter Milan should focus on young players. And build on the experience of young players. Moreover, why there is no alternative at the moment. Let's see who the Inter coach selects as an alternative to Lukaku.

Dzeko is a good striker in the past but now he is old and he has never been in list of best strikers in the Europe. Dzeko can not compete with Lukaku about total goals they can score in one season.

AS Roma has challenge from Chelsea for the transfer of Tammy Abraham and they might not get him. As I know, Tammy is on a transfer to Arsenal, not AS Roma.

If AS Roma can not have Tammy, they won't allow Dzeko to move easily to Inter Milan.

Roma ‘agree £34m transfer’ for Tammy Abraham but Arsenal and Atalanta also keen on out-of-favour Chelsea striker

For years, Juventus has dominated Italy and seemed to be wrong. Last season, that finally changed. maybe inter is just better than juventus right now. I wonder how next season will go. but there are more privateers on the coast.

Juventus goofed by signing sarri as manager and then employing Pirlo; Sarri came in with very ageing players which turned out to be bad for the club as seen in the previous season. Also, times have changed in the serie a

The league title is open, reigning champions are selling players at will and no one is really building to challenge, could Atalanta be surprise winners ? Or AC Milan ?
It is still yet to be seen and known which team to emerge as the champions comes this season. But I still think Milan has the power to retain their tittle if they replace Lukaku wih a quality addiction.I think they won't let Martinez go now that Lukaku have joined Chelsea. All is dependant on who comes in and who goes out before the window closes.Lets wait to see.

According to the media they have had a deal for Dzeko for 2 years  Roll Eyes.

Also, Lautario could leave too. Spurs are pressing them with an offer for 70m €, confirmed by more sources.

It is claimed that Roma manager Jose Mourinho is keen on signing PSG's 28-year-old striker Mauro Icardi. Because it seems like Roma striker Edin Dzeko (35) is preparing to leave the team to join Inter soon. Actually, I think that Icardi would be much more useful for Roma rather than Dzeko. I really respect Dzeko and he has been performing quite well despite his age. But he is not that good anymore I think. So, Icardi would be more beneficial.
Its like Morinho is really thinking about how best he can transform the team to be tittle contenders once again. He's been linked to many players, and will end up not signing them.Somebody like Xhaka of Arsenal,a player whom had agreed to join Roma because of Morinho, but they later switched their attention and now the player has signed a contract extension of three year deal to stay at his club.If he can make Icardi's deal to materialise,it would really help them, come next season.

We know that Mourinho's ambitions are very big when he coaches any team, as well as when he officially becomes Roma coach. Mourinho is trying
to make the Roma team a competitor to get the Serie A trophy. Therefore Mourinho made several lists of desired players, but because Roma's
transfer budget is not that big, almost all of the targets that Roma are aiming for fail to be achieved. Including Xhaka failed to be bought from
Arsenal because they did not manage to get a price agreement.  Hopefully Mauro Icardi can be successfully bought by Roma, because Roma will
likely lose Edin Dzeko, although Roma just got a striker from Genoa from Uzbekistan, namely Eldor Shomurudov. But Shomurodov's quality is still
below Icardi, if Roma do manage to buy Icardi this is a good buy for Roma.

AS Roma will have new forward Tammy Abraham and get issues Chelsea will sell his forward to AS Roma, just waiting with official announcement because Chelsea success get Lukaku from Inter Milan and they have many forward after Warner, Lukaku and Kai. I hope Tammy can be success in AS Roma and give more competitive for Juventus and AC Milan, I never choose Inter Milan as candidate to be champion because they have sell many good player right now.
Anyway, Inter still has a strong squad, I think, losing a few main players won't be a big problem because there are other players who I think can still maintain Inter's quality in the top ranks. Regarding Mauro Icardi, I only believe that any team that targets him will certainly get him considering Icardi's position may be threatened in the future, for sure if Icardi stays at PSG it looks like he will lose many opportunities to play in the first squad so if Mourinho makes an offer I think it will be a transaction which will be achieved.

Our opinion is that Inter Milan will be very difficult to compete for the title this season considering that there are so many star players who made a big contribution to them in winning the title last season. owned by Romelu Lukaku, moreover this Serie A season we can say is very tight, for example the mission of Juventus who want to return to fight for the title they failed to win last season, don't underestimate As Roma who are currently bringing in top coaches like Jose Mourinho and also players from origin. Chelsea's Tammy Abraham to deepen their squad to compete for the Scudetto title this season
Under the so-called financial crisis, the Inter may return to rock bottom again, and what was said was a project that began to fall, as if the Inter-Americans were destined to accept the situation and remain silent.
A team that regained its local prestige by assigning very strong names it wins the league and gives up its strengths ,as if Inter had modest ambitions and goals, and his utmost wish was an escudetto and only.
Do you understand why Italy is far from the Champions League Compare between Chelsea's project and their desire, and between Inter's handling and thinking.
Well, compare the City revolution and their deals, and compare Juve's policy and their dispersal.
What we mentioned gives you an idea that as far as the differences are financial, there are very clear differences in management.

Remember gambling is banned for advertisement in Italy especially the ones without an Italian License, Italy is very restricted about it.
Soon or later they could ban these services too.

Anyway 10 days at start and Inter still haven't an attacker after the sell of Lukaku (99% official at this moment)

indeed it is a very good idea, to buy icardi, to strengthen the roma club,, but i am not sure about coach jose mourinho, he can be said to be a very controversial coach, i am very sure even though roma bought a lot of star players, and expensive players, I think jose mourinho will not be able to bring roma to the championship level, because i think jose mourinho's time is over, he is no longer the best coach, like when he coached porto.

If Mourinho still falter at Roma also, then I will think in the same way with you. He had great times at Inter more than 10 years ago. Maybe he is good with Italian clubs also, I don't know. We'll figure it out when the new starts. If he can't do here also, I don't know where he can. Then, it will show that he is not as good as the old times now.

I disagree with you, Mourinho is no longer a top coach, he does not know how to work with big teams, he constantly has conflicts with players and a tense situation ensues in the team, which ultimately leads to a drop in results and the dismissal of the coach. Well, Roma's squad can hardly be called strong, mostly middle-class players.
Tottenham bad performance last season might show that morinho has lost his magic,
I think everyone can guess how the strategy he applied when he coached a football club, from the beginning of his coaching career in porto to tottenham i think morinho continued to apply the same tactical scheme namely Bus parking (defense) and even that seems to be re-applied to the current Roma club, besides that I also agree that Morinho is a coach who has quite high emotions and temperament both when facing his own players and facing his rivals and even the referee has not escaped his cursing all this time, as happened some time ago when Roma faced Real Betis in a friendly match and at that time Morinho got a red card and his team lost quite badly with a score of 5-2.

For someone who brought Spurs to the top of EPL table last season at least for a while, I find that he doesn't lost completely his skills. He has a special (one) temperament, he failed to keep Spurs on the top but I think he can manage to bring back Roma to a CL spot and why not make them threatening again. We will see in 2 weeks what Roma can do vs Fiorentina.
Yes, we will see how Mourinho make Roma a much better team in this new season. Mourinho is one of the great coach, but in recent seasons he has always failed to bring major trophies for the team he coached. I like his coaching style although he is very dependent on his style of bus parking and might suit the style of Italian football. I believe he can help Roma have a good competition for the 2021/2022 season although there is no guarantee that they will win the Serie-A in the end.

I beg to differ with the notion of inter milan having a strong squad, losing your winning coach and top striker after 2020/2021 season is a huge loss and can cause negative shift in the dressing room and thus affecting pattern of play. In regards to As roma, going for icardi will be a plus to Jose mourinho  team who are aiming to hatch a silverware.

If PSG gets Messi (which everyone is saying they will) then they will have mbappe-messi-neymar trio at the front. Paying for Icardi to not play is not a good idea, dude is too good to be a bench player plus gets a good amount of money as well for salary, why keep someone at bench and pay that much when you can sell him? Roma on the other hand could use him, Icardi would be a great signing for them, it is a good idea and it is a profitable idea as well.

I personally would love to see him play 90 minutes a game almost every game (when he can) and Roma is that type of place for him. I do not know if they can afford him, obviously he is not a free player, transfermarket says he worths 40 million euro, and I am not entirely sure if Roma could afford something like that, dude would be way overpriced for them. Maybe if they  can convince some installments yearly on a 5 per year for 6 years? That would be 30 and could afford him.

After the great success with Chris Smalling, AS Roma are trying to buy another player from Premier League. Tammy Abraham is a young and good striker and this transfer is good for Roma. There are news that Roma and Inter Milan are finalizing the transfer of Edin Dzeko. If Dzeko moves to Inter Milan to replace Lukaku there, Abraham will fight with Mayoral for the striker position in Roma.

AS Roma have good defenders and attacking players but their midfielders are not too good. Only Pellegrini and Zaniolo are good for attacking but Zaniolo is very vulnerable to injuries. I hope he will be strong in the new season with Roma and Mourinho.
