Well, it depends on the front office and ownership as well doesn't it? I mean when you give Mourinho what he wants, he usually does a huge overhaul which takes time to get together and build a chemistry plus it usually costs a bit as well, not a whole lot when you can sell the players he wants to get rid of, so you pay the ones he wants with the ones he doesn't want but that doesn't easily happen at all times, it requires a bit of time and these years are not that easy to make those kinds of transfers because of pandemic and lack of funds.

However assuming he could actually get what he wants and he can play the team the way he wants, there is no doubt that Mourinho is one of the best managers in the world, however when he doesn't get what he wants we have seen how terrible he could become as well and that is a big problem as well so if you get him, you need to give him what he wants.

I don't think that Mourinho will drag the team to a destruction. He has a really great history at Inter. I believe that this reference really has a meaning. Mourinho has seemed very good with an Italian team so far. I think that he will do really nice at Roma also.

Roma have not performed as well as expected this season. Mourinho is an experienced enough coach, although his team will not be able to participate in any international competitions next season, I think he will be able to organize the team well. I think Roma will take it and having a ticket to the Europe is better than nothing. However it will still be failed season for Roma. They can do better than that and next season I hope Zaniolo will have his best healthy and fitness. Also hope for him to have upgrade in his ability with Mourinho.

Verona and Bologna are already in a safe place by months they could play in a softer way same as Atalanta who is already qualified for the Champions League.
I will not be surprised if all 3 of these teams will win the following turn.
