What if Mou reputation is so bad that only his presence will negatively affect the mood of the players in the team? Nevertheless, they see what happens to the clubs where Mou becomes a coach, everything ends the same way. These are almost always conflicts within the team and, as a result, the team's play is bad, perhaps even a drain of matches with a desire to get rid of the coach.

It was true, almost all the clubs that Mou had been handling lately ended up with something bad. And it is possible that this will also happen to Roma. However, with Mou's return to Serie A, there are at least two teams filled by coaches with a history of winning, Conte and Mou. Now, I'm just thinking if we see Allegri return to Serie A next season, maybe the league will be even more interesting.

Antonio Conte become the first coach success broken dominance Juventus to get trophy every years more than seven time, now the era for Inter Milan get scudetto, but right now most interested with second, third and fourth position who will be success get this place. After AC Milan dominance broken they difficult with left match can be consistent and get ticket for champion league or not.

I wouldn't rule out Juve coming right back next season. Inter looked like they were losing steam and I keep saying you can't expect to play like they do all the time (current form not early season form) and expect to keep winning. Them KO'd out of Europe proves this for sure.

Most interesting for me to see now is if Ronaldo and Juve can actually appear in next UCL.

I agree with you, when Mou still has the tendency to build a club instantly like at Chelsea, MU, Madrid, then being coach of Roma will not be much different from when he was coach of Tottenham before. Roma are also classified as a mid club, which have never bought or sold players at fantastic prices. So, Mou's challenge to become Roma coach is to ensure that he can increase the potential of existing players and increase the solidity of the game. because to buy an expensive player, it looks like Roma will not be easily realized.

I think Mourinho can change his attitude so that he can adapt to some of the players at Roma so that no conflict was wanted in the past, I know Roma won't be spending that much money on players but somehow he has to be able to raise players to be better. nothing bad happens after being in Rome.
Many of the challenges Mourinho will face they will not spend as much as desired and make Roma a better place after many failures with other European clubs.

I totally agree with your opinion, Antonio Conte managed to bring Inter Milan to their first trophy, under a new coach, conte,
Hopefully Inter can play better, and can defend the title, AC Milan at the start of the season played very well, but unfortunately at the end of the season Milan played inconsistently, and wasted many important points ..

Not your keys, not your coins!
Now AS Roma will have to be prepared to spend a lot of money on the squad.
Despite having the advantage that because of Covid-19, the price of the players has dropped.

But it is good to make purchases before Euro 2021, because after that, the value of some players may go up.
I don't think AS Roma director board will readily to spend much bigger transfer fund for the club just because they sign a contract with Mourinho. They might have some new contracts and transfer fund might increase a little but not too bigger than in recent seasons.

I personally do not believe Mou can lead AS Roma to the top of the Serie A standings next season or it will be a mess like the previously coached teams which ended in dismissal. Even so, hopefully the choice made by AS Roma to bring in Mou is the right choice considering the competition in Serie A is getting tougher and many other teams who are also all strong teams in Serie A, this will be a more competitive competition.
Mourinho have great skills and I think his core tactic is matched with the traditional Catenaccio tactic in Serie A. The big problem for Mourinho is his past bad relation with media in Italy.

You are right that the competition in Serie A is very tight with the come back from two Milan teams in past 2 seasons. AS Roma have to fight against four or five clubs: Atalanta, Napoli, Lazio and Juventus.

He can do it better. In Spurs, in his first press conference as a coach, he was very friendly and things were smooth for him and Spurs in first half of season. In Spurs, there are some great stars but in Roma, there are not great starts. Mourinho can build up a team like he did with FC Porto in early of his career.

AS Roma appoints Jose Mourinho as their new manager next season.
Manager and coach are different. In modern football, what we usually see are coaches, not managers. In history, there are very few managers: Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger are managers.

Recent decades, coaches don't have decisions on player transfers because clubs nowadays have Sport directors. Managers have rights for tactics and transfers of clubs they are working for.

I want to comment on Mourinho's arrival too  Grin
His arrival means a lot, first of all that the presidency is very capable. Breaking the news at this time eases the pain of the last months and gives a signal to the fans and the team ahead of the derby. I am sure the players feel they are being watched and that is good. Roma supporters are so used to Mourinho brings new lymph to the environment: the Special One knows how to use his surroundings for his own purpose!

If that happens or buy or remodel an existing squad by spending a lot of money, hopefully Mou can really succeed in AS Roma. AS Roma appoints Jose Mourinho as their new manager next season.
Few weeks back, Tottenham sacked Jose Mourinho. Although he probably had the worse time been the manager of Tottenham, winning 15 out of 33 matches while in Tottenham.

Mourinho had been an experienced and successful Coach, having won 25 major trophies in his sport career. He have manage many teams which include Chelsea, Manchester United and also Inter Milan. I believe he will do more better in Roma.

His only experience with an Italian team was with Inter as you said. It was many years ago and Inter did a great job in that season. Maybe he can achieve great things with Roma also. And I'd really like to see Roma at a better position and even competing for the title.

In my opinion, it will be very difficult for Mourinho to become the coach of Roma, because in the past Mourinho coached ready-made players, like at Real Madrid, Chealsea who are actually all star players, according to my predictions, Mourinho will not last long. in Rome,
The Italian league this year officially belongs to Inter Milan``
The trophy that Inter have long dreamed of has come true, under conte training, Inter have won the prestigious trophy ,, inter, keep fighting, and show your best again``

They played brilliant football at the start but now if you notice, they try to get a goal, then sit back and defend (typical Conte) and try to counter. This is not how you win consistently at modern football.
I mean Inter is a great club and all but are you seriously considering that they are the team with the biggest pocket as well? Think about it, Spurs is missing a manager right now and they are much much richer because of premier league income, so maybe they can offer as much as 2x amount for 5 years? Not that their intention would be to keep him for 5 years if he is unsuccessful, dude could be fired and paid in full as well, but that seems like a possibility.

This is why I think there could be other teams as well, sure Real is not firing Zidane that’s for sure, but there could be other teams that do not have a manager at the end of the season that needs a new manager and has a lot of money that could be paying him a lot of money. If that doesn't happen then it means that he could continue in Inter where he has been very successful and broke Juventus championship streak.

For a guy like Conte, or Mou (who were respectively at Chelsea and at Spurs) I bet you they both got paid less or the same after moving to Italy. So it doesn't matter how rich the club is, the manager doesn't earn more because the clubs have more money.

It's going to be about reputation for these guys, the more they build it, the more they can ask for. Especially with bonuses for performance. So I still think it's about him thinking if he can continue playing his style with Inter and winning.

although Morinho will receive less salary in Rome than he received at Tottenham but Morinho has a pretty tough job to do to restore Rome to the Champions League, while for this season, Roma are ranked 7th in the Italian league standings and it is impossible to reach the top 4 the only way to get back to champions league next season is by winning the European league cup even though it also looks impossible but this can happen if AS Roma is able to beat Manchester United and score 3 goals without conceding at all, I think next season Morinho will be able to restore the glory of Rome because we know Morinho has a good experience to coach a team from Italy like what happened in Inter Milan in the past.

Yeah, Roma are under the threat of not being able to qualify for even one of the tournaments as they are the 7th. And I don't think that they will be able to make a comeback from a huge 6-2 score against Manchester Utd in the EL. So, Mourinho has really a lot of work to do next season. But I believe in him that he will do much better at Roma than Tottenham.

Wow this proves that Mourinho is still a favorite in several clubs less than a month of being sacked from Tottenham and now he's got a new place
Roma hopes Mourinho can repeat the success when he handled Inter Milan a few years ago. what makes me curious is who the new players are being targeted

There are not a lot of managers without contracts.
There were 3 possibilities for Roma.

Sarri, Allegri and Mou.

Allegri is rumored to said no because he can end to Inter, Juve, Milan, or Real.

Nice!
Can't wait any longer to see Mourinho becoming the next manager of AS Roma!
The guy loves Italy and I think that if the Presidency will spend enough money the Special One could make Roma a great team!
I'm sorry for his colleague Fonseca, he'll soon be forgotten.

His experience at Inter was really awesome as you can remember. Inter had an absolutely great season then. I hope we can see the same competition from Roma also in the next season.

Mourinho is very experienced as a coach. He may not have been successful with the Tottenham team. I think Tottenham should have given another season chance to Mourinho. But I am happy to have Mourinho join the Roma team. The Roma team will be even stronger next season.
