Crucial match this evening for Inter, they are actually at -9 points.
They need to win to be in the race for the title.

If they win they will be at -6 from Juventus but since they lost both games with Juve they are actually at -7 because in case of even at the end of the season they will watch how the games between teams went.

If they lose they will be at -9, actually -10 for the same reason, and those are 4 games with 12 left.

If you ask the average football fan to name you ONE player from Hellas Verona's squad, they'd tell you: "What's hello verona?"...And this team is currently qualifying to the next Europa League...What a season!  Shocked

Anyways, i have 'Inter to WIN' in a parlay with some premier league teams...should be an easy game against Sampdoria...right?

Quite irony to see Cagliari was trying to secure the European competition spot back in early season but now they are 7 points away from relegation lol that was escalated pretty quickly.
I'm not a fan, but it's kinda heartbreaking to see this Cagliari after that amazing run last year...From 13 games unbeaten to 11 games without a win...Something happened in December, some kind of witchcraft or extraterrestrial bullshit but, something must've happened LOL  Grin

Seria A is almost back in few hours, today and tomorrow they will play missing games from previous turns.

About Cagliari, yes they got a god run at the start of the season if I can remember correctly they were even on top 4 for several turns.

I will probably watch the Parma game to see Kulusevski, https://www.transfermarkt.com/dejan-kulusevski/ausfaelle/spieler/431755 he is already a Juventus player, he can play as right wing or box to box.
The final result of the two serie A matches :

Torino 1 - 1 parma
Verona 2 - 1 cagliari

Quite irony to see Cagliari was trying to secure the European competition spot back in early season but now they are 7 points away from relegation lol that was escalated pretty quickly.

Not much to see here , a classic serie A game where mostly i see the league full of draw result.
I thought Cagliari could make an equalizer after they had an advantage to play against verona redcarded 10 men but damn Cagliari wasted it away even they got the same redcard at 70' .
Damn.

Well, Torino - Parma / Verona - Cagliari.

Not exactly the type of fixtures that will make you say "fuck yeah! Serie A is back!! i'm gonna watch every single Serie A game today", but oh well  Roll Eyes

Btw, does anyone remember the Super Cagliari at the start of the season? 13 games unbeaten, I was making bank backing them in my bet slips since they were always the underdogs...look at em now, 12th place, last time they won a league game was in December!!  Shocked

Many and many rumors these days on every paper here in Italy but I can't confirm if the news is true.
If Sarri will fail to win the League, he will be a sack.

I repeat, can't confirm this but we got the same rumors before COVID19.

The problem with sacking him is that there is only 1 month from the end of this season and the start of the new one, hard to organize.
Juventus need a revolution in every sector.
I prefer to hear a rumor about getting sacked whether Juventus won the league or not. This decision shouldn't be about winning or not but about the overall performance of the team which isn't at its best at all...

Unfortunately the recent injury concerns suggest that Juventus is in for more problems in the next month. Alex Sandro has sustained a minor ligament injury and will be unavailable in the next 20 days at least. Khedira is injured (again) and out for the season. This lad should no longer be a professional athlete if you ask me. Not in a top club and the biggest of stages.

AC Milan were the best team in the previous era and have made me fall in love with them, but at the moment I dont see them as a strong team because their achievement have dropped at the end of every season. The arrival of a new coach will maximize the potential of existing player, and if necessary AC Milan must think of some new player who are better than before.

Yes AC Milan always becomes big clubs in Italy, even they don't have a title in a few seasons after scudetto. I think the problem happens after AC Milan sacked Allegri. After that, AC Milan doesn't hire a good manager for AC Milan, IMO, only Gattuso give something different in AC Milan squads. Unfortunately, because he failed to bring Milan to the Champions League, he left. When Pioli comes to Milan, I don't believe his capability as Gattuso's successor. And as we know, AC Milan maybe missed UEFA League again. Of course, we want AC Milan to stop Juventus domination as champions in Serie-A, but, with new manager & new experience for Rangnick, Maybe it will be more difficult. New players, of course, AC Milan need some new players and currently have few targets.

Ralf Rangnick will become new manager for AC Milan next season with 3 yers contracts, From his history, I think he will be better than Pioli. But, history can't do much when he and players can't work together.
Leipzig is one of the club led by Ralf Rangnick, his achievement are quite brilliant because he is able to juggle Leipzig which is actually a club that lacks star player to finish in the top three position in the Bundesliga.

I think this achievement has made AC Milan interested in offering a contract with the coach and hopefully they will make a good deal. No one doubts Ralf Rangnick's ability as a football manager, the success of RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga thanks to Rangnick's ability.
But if he have to train AC Milan I doubt it, because in my opinion the style of Serie A is much different from the Bundesliga. I doubt
Rangnick can successfully become the AC Milan manager. In my opinion the German coach is more suited to the Premiere League
game style. Hopefully Rangnick can adapt.

Juventus has lost two finals with Ronaldo automatically making him to loss two consecutive fginals for the first time ever. As a fan, I'm beginning to think it was a mistake for him coming to Italy. Before his arrival, Juventus has been very dominant so either the problem is from him (Ronaldo) not fitting well into the playing system of Juventus to bring the best out of him or Sarri bad luck has followed him back to Italy.

Sarri isn't known for winning medals, Chelsea (hazard) single handling gave him his first title then he taught he could get more by joining a dominant club lol.

This is really the end of the Ronaldo era then, it seems, or at least the beginning of it. I still think Juventus will go on to win the title for the 8th? 9th? time?

But that's the whole problem with a guy like him. You buy him to model an entire team around him. Which is okay IF he's young. And OK if you don't have a good system yet and can't afford to build a whole team or want instant success. But buying him knowing at max he has a great 4 years or so? Bad timing.

I have never thought that Napoli can win against Juventus in the final match. It is a surprising win of Napoli even they made it in penalty shootouts. Who knows the defeat in Coppa Italia is a signal of the end of Juventus domination in Italy over nearly one decade. The race to Serie A title is so tight between Juventus and Lazio, let's see.

Well, they didn't actually win, though. They did exactly as they have done throughout the campaign, try and wear down bigger opponents and settle for a penalty shootout. They got to the finals by drawing too. Ronaldo and Juventus have been poor in several games now (relative to what they should be producing).
Ronaldo and Juventus both fail to do any goal in two matches its mean next games are not easy for them and we are going to be have some tough competition in Serie A for title from Inter Milan.

It was a final and both teams were set to play defensively.
Ronaldo doesn't score in crucial matches - the same was happening when he was playing at Real Madrid.
Congrats to Napoli for winning a title after 6 years - it is a moral booster for them.

Congrats on Napoli for winning the Coppa Italia!
Not the best match ever played. Both teams had some chances and Napoli had a big chance on the end of regular time. So penalties it was (always fun to watch) and Napoli came out as winner (4-2).

Didn't watch the match but thought that Juventus gonna make it. The first 2 penalties of Juve were missed, one of it by Dybala... Although it is a win by penalty kicks but congratulations to Napoli!

To be honest am still in shock on how Napoli won the finals, I didn't expect Juventus to lose to Napoli, at the moment I don't whats wrong with Juventus, they couldn't even beat a 10 man Ac Milan In the semi finals, and they didn't play anything in the finals, luckily for them Buffon was there to  do all the hard work, he made some good saves, but Juventus losing two finals in a row?, well I think this is the end of Juventus domination in Italy, I don't see them going far in the Champions league either with their current form, but we can't take anything from Napoli, they were outstanding, Congrats to them once more.  I think its safe to say that the Sarri-ball system is now a thing of the past.

it is quite a surprise to have Napoli won over Juventus, but congrats on a cup title, regarding the season, i do not believe that Lazio could overcome Juventus on the table, so i think that Juventus will get the title at the end
regarding first matches from restart in Calcio, Torino had seven matches lose strike, and i think that they will cut it with Parma, because they were really close to relegation zone after losing strike

The time when they will sack Sarri it will always be too late.

Always told you Sarri is a mediocre coach, he can't stay in a big team.
He'll get the sack as soon as Lyon knock Juventus out of the CL (playing like this, Lyon could definitely win the series) or after Lazio wins the league title.

Btw, Napoli won their first domestic title since 2014 under Benitez. Next year, in 2015, they sacked the spaniard and hired Sarri, and the team couldn't win a single title under him ("b-b-but his style was so g-good"). Now they win the league cup...against Sarri  Roll Eyes

gonna avoid Juve in my next bet slips until they find their good form again.

First, I'm not sure that Juventus will win in the final after Ronaldo's failure against Milan and after knowing the final results of this final match, I don't think it's surprising that Juventus can't even give good results even though it was from a penalty kick. Furthermore, from the beginning Ronaldo joined Juventus also I was not sure that Juventus would get better with Ronaldo, and at least at this time it was proven that Ronaldo was so difficult to be the best at Juventus. That way, I'm also sure this season the Serie A title will belong to Lazio, let's look forward to it.
Let ignore CR7. We talked about him too much already. Yesterday final match is a great one for Gigi Buffon. Do you notice that Buffon have still performed so well in Juventus goal?

He is very determinant and control the game so well. I don't know how many seasons Buffon will play for Juventus as their second goal keeper till his retire day. If Gigi Buffon decides to play for another smaller club, he will be able to play as first goalkeeper till 45 years old at least. Gigi is so amazing goalkeeper, a real asset for Italy football.

I am afraid they will do so.I read in an Italian social media that fans are revolted against Cristiano mostly by saying that he wants to win the golden ball and he doesn’t score from an eternity now,we want to win the Champions but we cannot even win Coppa Italia anymore.Based on this I think there will be “victims” with the first one being Sarri.
