According to a news source, Tottenham are targeting Fiorentina's young striker Dusan Vlahovic (21). As we know, Kane is likely to leave soon to join Manchester City. Tottenham need a plan B for that. And the plan seems like bringing Vlahovic. He scored 21 goals in 37 Serie A games in the last season.

I wonder whether Fiorentina will lean towards this transfer. I guess they wouldn't like to lose one of their most important players. I guess it depends on the amount of the offer.

According to the TIMES last week they were sure about a deal for Lautaro Matinez in case Kane will ending leaving the club.

Vlahovic anyway is a good player if they can have him but Comisso the president of Fiorentina is a hard head man, he just lost Chiesa can he lose the better player of the team another time 1 year later?

If Lukaku does not leave Inter, it will look quite strange, because Chelsea already officially announced the transfer of the player three days ago, and Inter has already announced the transfer of Dzeko, who seems to be being taken to replace Lukaku. The club also announced the signing of a contract with Denzel Dumfries.  It seems that according to The Sun, Lukaku is now the highest-paid player in the Premier League with a salary of 382 thousand euros per week. Therefore, I would be happy if you would share the information and the source of information that Lukaku's transfer to Chelsea has slowed down and still has not happened and what are the reasons for all this.
There is never a "source" for something not happening, it is just... not happened and that is what I wanted to relay here. I mean when I look at transfermarket, it is not there and Lukaku looks to be on Inter still, I didn't hear about the Chelsea saying they signed him, if you could show a source for that it would be great, I am checking my own nations sports news and Lukaku news is nowhere, interestingly Kane is still at Spurs and there are news about City already getting him... when they haven't neither.

So, I do not really know any official thing yet, but "I" do not know it, nobody claims that what I know is the fact and if I do not know it then it didn't happen. I learned about Alaba to Madrid probably 2 weeks after it was official so I am not always at ahead of everyone, usually just trailing back, waiting its official and papers are signed and you see them holding the jersey, that is when I am 100% sure about transfers. So, you may 100% definitely learn something before I do.

The Serie A is about to start, it is really close. I read an interesting interview with Fabio Capello, one of my favorite coaches.
He talked about Milan's new project, Inter's revolution and Allegri's new course in Turin. According to him it will be the championship of the coaches, where top managers such as Mourinho, Allegri, Spalletti and Sarri will compete. There are people who have already given a lot, but they will have to give even more. The market is open and they will have to be ready to find the right deal at the right time.
He has got an interesting point of view on Inter: according to him, it is not true that the team has been dismantled in two months. The coach left, true, two champions left, true, but the frame remains of good quality. Dzeko is perfect to replace someone like Lukaku. Calhanoglu will have his say. Simone Inzaghi will be able to galvanize the group and prove that Inter was not only Lukaku and Hakimi.

Dzeko is certainly not a bad player, but does not come close to the level of Lukaku. I think he's a lot older too. Lukaku is more explosive, faster, more dynamic and also scores a lot more. But it's better than nothing. And maybe he will do well at Inter. Or maybe Lukaku will just come back just like in the past.
They are players from different generations and you can not compare them like this. Dzeko has 85 goals in Serie A. If he can score 15 more goals, he will join the 100+ goals club that is not easy to get a spot in. In 2016–17 season, he scored 29 goals in Serie A and he has two other seasons, 2017 - 2018, 2019 - 2020, with 16 goals.

If I only look at stats of goals, I don't call Dzeko is worse than Lukaku.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edin_D%C5%BEeko

What you say is true, Edin Dzeko is one of the strikers who is quite good especially he has scored almost 119 goals from a total of 260 matches in all competitions while playing for roma, but as we know now Edin Dzeko is 35 years old and of course the performance and his stamina has decreased enough, will he be able to replace Lukaku role as the spearhead of Inter Milan in this season?
Inter Milan get troubles and they can not find better striker with limited time and restricted transfer budget. Top strikers are in big clubs and they won't move to Inter Milan. Dzeko is a replacement for Lukaku in one or two seasons before Inter Milan can find a younger and better striker.

Moreover, it is reported that Inter Milan will also sell Lautaro Martines and if Lautaro Martines moves to another club, automatically Dzeko will become  Inter Milan only main striker this season, and of course it is not an easy thing for Edin Dzeko.

League starting next week, it is just one week difference. Considering most of them do not go to distance on champions league most of the time, the league is basically all most of them have, some play a bit more on the national cup as well, but that is about it, plus it is just one week difference.

Let’s see what’s going to happen with the league, Lukaku is still at Inter after a year of saying he will not be there, it is a shocking development to see him here because everyone expected him to leave, there are still talks and he may still leave, the transfer window is not yet closed, but it is drawing very close and whoever wants to get him, should do it very quickly.

I can't say that it is great to see the league staying exactly the same, I would have expected a bit of improvement, but looks like it is basically just reroll of last year, with only tiny changes.

Lukaku is already gone, and Inter already bought Dzeko over him from AS Roma.
A lot has changed in Serie A from the last year.

The main thing that changed is the coach, if I'm not wrong 17 teams changed the coach in this summer.

Inter think that the best replacement for Romelu Lukaku is the 27-year-old Lazio forward Joaquin Correa. Lazio bought him from Sevilla for €15m. He got 11 goals and 6 assists in 38 games in total in the last season.

Maybe he won't perform as good as Lukaku but I think he can contribute to the team nicely.

Inter can't spend money they need to save over 200m or their president need to sell the club.

Over the Lautaro Martinez matter, I think that he won't leave Inter this summer. Romelu Lukaku has already left the club for a price around €115m. And he made the club a lot of money that's for sure. But one thing is certain that Inter have lost a great deal of power after he's left. And they wouldn't like to lose more power on their attacking side.

However, they need money to make their financial condition better also. So, there is a dilemma for them here. And when it comes to Martinez, I think that he wouldn't like to leave the team for a less powerful team like Tottenham or Arsenal. Therefore, I don't think that these clubs will be successful on signing Martinez this summer.

Mirror claims that Inter's young forward Lautaro Martinez has decided to stay at the team despite Tottenham's and Arsenal's interests in him. But this is just a rumour until Martinez says such thing. We'll figure it out in the coming days.

Some other sources were also saying that Tottenham were very close to ending the deal. It's really hard to believe a news source.

honestly I think Lautaro Martinez shouldn't think about leaving for clubs like Tottenham or Arsenal because they are teams that don't earn anything, he would just be someone who wouldn't be being well used in these two teams that don't earn anything, the best thing he can do do and look for good teams like juventus, or real madrid or manchester united or chelsea or city, but he shouldn't go to Tottenham or Arsenal, it wouldn't be beneficial for him in the long term

I agree. Because Tottenham and Arsenal are both loser teams right now. They are struggling about finishing their league at a nice position. But Inter are a winner team. They are the last champions in the Serie A. Maybe they've sold Lukaku but they are still very strong. With Martinez, they can still have a good season even if they fail on becoming the champions.
Martinez still with Inter Milan and not any deal wit Tottenham Hotspur? I see many soccer news update with Martinez close negotiation with Tottenham Hotspur and agree to be Tottenham player, but why you believe with Martinez keep staying with Inter Milan. Selling player by Inter Milan is not stop right now because they have sell many player before.

Thats a huge profit for them though Grin but will he could bring an achievements like lukaku did? im prrtty sure he will not, different quality.
they should bring another top class striker.. unless of course it is pure for the sake of business.
i just cant understand on how inter management works.. a successful season is like replaced with unclear future by selling key players.

Another meeting today between Juvenuts and Dybala to renew his contract.

The parts are still far away and with only 10 months left on his contract I am not optimistic and FOR me he wants to leave for free next summer.
It is a trend in football lately. Players now want to wait till the last one or second year of their contract to consider their future. Renew or wait for contract expiration to leave as free players. They will have freedom to choose new clubs and receive more money from new clubs.

Clubs don't spend transfer money so they will give commission to free players. Dybala in Juve. Pogba in Manchester United.

https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Calciomercato/Napoli/13-08-2021/napoli-koulibaly-psg-infortunio-ramos-420410310158.shtml

Gazzetta dello Sport says that PSG could make a move for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly (30) as Sergio Ramos has an injury now. Koulibaly played in 26 matches in the Serie A last season. As he is an important player for Napoli, I wonder whether they would be willing to sell him. Maybe they will want too much money but PSG won't be very eager then.
