This time should be official. Juventus Inter will be played this sunday evening.

Will the Juventus v Inter match be attended by spectators or without spectators?

For me it is not important that this match goes well because I want to see Inter Milan to take revenge for yesterday's defeat.

We have a title game going on Sunday night and hopefully a lot of people will be going in the stadium but this is more like a wish because people in Milano are afraid and only a few days before they removed the red zone alert making business start again.All the other games are not of a specific importance and may be some of them can be postponed based on how the situation evolves there.

Another point of view that we are not considering is the fact that these type of entertainments do help the public forget about what is going on out there and how it is scary outside. Definitely you can still ban the games to have visitors until this is solved but at least until that moment you can make sure players are safely playing games and airing that live on television to make the public forget about these things for at least 90 minutes, at least for some fans.

The public is what make sure these players are paid this much and that is basically the reason why the game is so expensive nowadays, players basically owe the public to keep them occupied during such a bad time. However we can't ignore what players want neither, if they do not want to play we can't force them at all.

Yes, everyone in italy is now wary of one another, and also, they have announced in Italy that all sports are to be played in closed doors until April 3.
Thats the best deicision because health comes first before anything. Though sadly, it affects the finances of the clubs.

Hopefully, the virus gets a cure and ends sooner than expected.

Maybe it's the best way so that all sporting events must be closed for a while until conditions really improve and nothing else is affected in this corona virus.
Of course this will affect the finances of the club if this continues to be held as closed as possible while the club will not benefit from its audience.

Ok guys, we all know this virus is getting infected people quickly. A month ago, we were thinking China was in bad situation. But now Korea, Japan, Iran and Italy has a lot of infected people.
We should ask this question;

Was it really necessary to make these postponements?
and what will happen after this point? What will happen next week?

I think it would be more beneficial to play these games in a controlled manner, rather than stressing the public in such situations.

Imagine what would have happened if public was not stressed.
It was necessary to take such measures as you should not forget that public health is above entertainment and football. If postponements hadn't happened we might probably talk about more deaths from coronavirus in Italy.

I think it would be more beneficial to play these games in a controlled manner, rather than stressing the public in such situations.
I am in support of total abandonment, if that's possible, for me, the safety of the players and the fans is always the most important, I know the games are equally important and if not played now, then when, it could create really big problems and congestion. But on a second thought, it's not worth the life of any.

I'm very sure whether the stadium are open to fans or not, attendance in stadiums would drop really low, fans would be scared to come in contact with so many people, there is a big dilemma now in Italy, could this just end already.

I don't think this is over in Italy. Everyone is afraid to make contact with each other. Moreover, being in the stadium is very unlikely right, because Italy is now very much affected by this corona virus.

I know that this decision to postpone is indeed good for everyone because they do not want anyone to be affected by this virus, I am grateful that it seems like none of the Italian soccer players has been affected by the Corona virus to date.

For your information the game Between Lazio and Napoli has been postponed too TBA.

I think have to wait for a good situation to restart the match in Italy, if almost all matches are postponed then I have to make a decision about how things are there. I'm afraid the players will get the virus.

I haven't seen an Italian soccer game in 2 weeks.

So I have seen some updates regarding Juventus-Milan match being postponed in the Allianz Stadium and they just confirmed that this match will be played in front of the fans the only catch is they won't be allowing fans from the Lombardy. Veneto, Emilia Romagna regions. And you know what the funny thing is? Do you know what is the capital of Lombardy? Of course it is Milan. To cut it short they won't be allowing any Milan fans attending the 2nd leg of the semi-finals so that A.C. Milan will be facing the full force of the Bianconeri in their own home stadium. If I were with the Milan management I would simply opposed this and propose that the game will be played in closed doors since technically not only those stated regions have been infected by the virus.

Criticizing the Serie A boss on Inter Milan's presidential social media will be investigated. What will happen if there will be sanctions against the Inter Milan club?

I think it's an insult to high-ranking Serie A officials.

The club is not going to have any punishments for those statements.
The fair deal would be if the president of Inter is going to get a financial punishment or a restriction to enter Serie A matches. It would be sad if Serie A decides to affect Inter's points...

It is a very difficult situation in Italy currently. On one hand there is a possibility to play the games in front of empty stands. Serie A wants to avoid this at all costs since it is sending a bad image into the world. The pros would be no attendance = minimum chances of infection. There is still a small chance that one of the players could be infected but taking into consideration how often they are checked by team medics this is not a serious threat.

The second option would be to postpone all sporting events. In that case when will they all be played? International matches, UEFA CL and the upcoming EURO 2020 will all be affected with all dates having to be moved ahead.

Even if Serie A doesn't like it, we have to keep safe the health of people.
I don't like seeing games such as JUventus Inter with empty stands - as it is also a disadvantage to the home team - but it is what it is. We have to live with the virus now and measures must be taken to football as well.

One reason why I'm seeing Serie A not letting teams play on empty stands is because of revenue. Not only that the board don't want it but also some teams are not letting a closed door match happen. If this is really the case then I don't think this is an option at all since they are also after the revenue and from what I heard people in Italy barely go out as much as possible to avoid being infected so even if they allow fans to watch I believe their attendance will be cut by a fraction. Postponing games until everything clears out is a much better alternative then risking the health of everyone including their players.

Are there any Italian people active in this Serie A thread?

Here, what do you need to know?

Other countries will be soon in the same situation or even worse since sanity in Italy is very good.

In my country, there have also been a number of people affected by the corona virus, but the government has been swift in responding to this so as not to plague itself so that local soccer matches are still running well without obstacles.

I have read some news about the state of Italy which canceled many matches but I think the cancellation was for the good of the soccer players.

The spread of a virus is "mathematical"

Actually, the COVID spread is around 2.3 in the world.
Your country should limit everything to get the index under 1.

Normally one person infect 2.3 people
10x2.3 -> 23
10 will heal/die
13x2.3-> 27.6
27.6-13=14
14x2.3->32.2

And going on.

The objective of the government is to limit movement so the virus will have a harder time to spread
If the government can have the number equal to 0.9 then

10x0.9-> 19
10 will heal die
9x0.9-> 17.1
9 will heal/die
8.9

etc

Till they will not have medicines the only solution is to reduce the ratio of infects under 1.0
