The surprising thing in the friendly match last night against FC Nürnberg vs Juventus and the disappointing final result but is this normal?
Relying on young players is quite visible from the footage that the young players brought in defense seem unable to stem the power of FC Nürnberg in this match, even though this is a trial match, many have criticized Thiago Motta's performance at the beginning of his coaching while the players who played were not all the main squad only a few new players were fielded by Juventus in this match, but several opportunities did not produce a single goal for Juventus.

FC Nürnberg itself is a good team so Motta sees his opponent as weak, even though what FC Nürnberg did to Juventus was a surprise even though this was only a friendly match but all eyes must be on the score made by FC Nürnberg, seeing this match I feel doubtful about Juventus management under Motta in my opinion it is too hasty, there is no strategy and they only play football.

Indeed they did not bring all of their main team but it seems they will fail with Motta seeing other teams in Serie A such as Inter and AC Milan who continue to develop their game but it seems Juventus sent him, I am really disappointed Motta could not bring his first victory to prove to the fans that he deserves a job at Juventus.
I understand the condition of Juventus without its mainstay defender, there are no names of Juventus' mainstay defenders who were not fielded in yesterday's match, so it is natural that Juventus suffered a defeat with a score of 3-0 without reply even though this was only a trial, but on the other hand this trial match could determine the criteria for Juventus' game when the league season starts, so it is natural that some people doubt Juventus' way of playing in the hands of Thiago Motta.

That's what we can understand Juventus' defeat tonight, it is also difficult when we blame Motta's performance which I think is too early to blame in the tactics given and played last night.
Juventus suffered their first defeat in a friendly match, even though the match was only a pre-season match, this defeat actually seems to show that there has been no improvement in Juventus' performance under Motta's coaching, but I think that is very natural considering that Motta has not had enough time at Juventus at the moment, and Motta who had their first match with Juventus should have learned a lot from this painful defeat because the opponent's status was a Bundesliga 2 team, but I don't think this defeat will give rise to doubts for Juventus fans to see their team as better with Motta next season, in that match Motta dropped almost all the reserve players and young players were for face FC Nürnberg , meaning that currently Motta doesn't have a fixed team framework for them to rely on next season, apart from that we can't use friendly matches as a reference for Juventus performance next season and I think with the current friendly match then Motta has the opportunity to determine the strategy and team framework that he will use next season to compete in Serie A.
but really the thing that hasn't been said is that half the youth team that Thiago Motta had played as a test played and in any case they are all young boys who need to play now it takes time to get fueled and in any case we also say the matches of this type are friendly summer games don't count for anything considering that last year he won against real madrid and then we all know what happened to him

With the recent development at Napoli with the big boss Antonio Conte on the mix, the Napoli side was terrible during the better part of last season and they never showed any sign of improvement. Now we have Antonio Conte taking charge of everything that would make the team come back to their excellent form they had when they won the league title, can Antonio Conte make this season much difficult for the other competitors in the Italian league? Because to me I don't see Inter Milan making a joke out of Napoli next campaign and Juventus too have a new manager to turn things around for the club, can Antonio Conte bring the best of Napoli next season and make them unstoppable?

I think it's unreasonable considering that in the second half Juventus started to get serious by bringing in their main players. But what we saw was far from what was expected and instead Juventus were increasingly easily penetrated until the final minutes. I think this was a crushing defeat that Juventus did not deserve and even though it was only a pre-season match they should have been able to emphasize good results rather than swallowing a raw defeat.

But what can I say, it seems like this incident should not happen again in the real competition and this provides an important note for coach Thiago Motta to optimize his players' game. Their work is increasing and I hope everything can be fixed soon considering that the start of the season is getting closer.

Yesterday Mattia Perin said after a 3-0 defeat against Nürnberg, seems they are very optimistic with Motta this season.
Yesterday's match is not and should not be considered as a measure of quality of the team. Juventus has just started their pre-season training and one part of their team hasn't even returned from their holidays yet. They have a lot of work in front of them. Nurnberg is the exact opposite. They have finished their preparations, and their season in the 2. Bundesliga begins next weekend. It's only normal that they will have much better match fitness. Juve played the match with many youngsters, some of which won't stay at the club and others who will feature for the youth teams.

The Osimhen transfer saga seems to be going nowhere, aka there is no development, of course this will make us all bored watching the drama that occurs. It seems that Napoli is waiting for certainty regarding the offer that will be submitted by PSG, and PSG wants to buy time so that they can offer a lower price to recruit Osimhen. In my opinion, Napoli must immediately complete the Osimhen transfer by urging PSG to submit their offer, because time is running out and there is still a lot of work that they need to do. We realize that Napoli relies on the profits from the sale of Osimhen to recruit other players, if it fails to be done this summer then Osimhen has the potential to leave for free in 2025. Al Hilal and Al Ahli are also reportedly interested in Osimhen, but I believe the Napoli striker is reluctant to leave Europe due to his young age.

We already know that PSG want Osimhen at a low price and Napoli do not want to let him go for less than 100 million so there is no agreement, it seems that PSG wants to put pressure on Napoli and hope they give up. In fact, Napoli could have kept Osimhen for another season because his contract ends in 2 seasons in 2026 so he won't be leaving for free in 2025 it's just that Napoli have to look for other alternatives to get money for next season's budget according to plan at the beginning. So far Napoli have spent 47 million in this transfer window on 2 players while only collecting 2 million after loaning one player to Everton so we can assume that Napoli will not spend more money.

Inter Milan recently bought Mehdi Taremi from Porto to have a better performance in the net season however they won the Serie A title but it seems Inter Milan aims for higher targets and they don't want to lose their good form. That's why Inter Milan is about to hire another forward for the next season. It seems they want to hire Depay.
Depay asked for five million euros to play for Inter Milan which is a huge amount of money for any payer.

Yes Mehdi Taremi came to Inter Milan on a free transfer but I don't think he can replace Lautaro Martinez as Inter Milan's mainstay forward line, moreover his performance is not better than Lauro Martinez as a striker.
Btw, Inter Milan performed well last season so they just need to maintain their good performance so they can compete again for the Serie A title and yes maybe Inter Milan wants to achieve higher targets such as winning the Champions League title. Roll Eyes

I don't understand why Inter Milan continues to target a striker when it is clear they already have one, even though rather than spending a lot of money to find a striker, they should fix their financial condition which has not been resolved until now.
The steps taken by Inter Milan are only to maintain the team's performance and bringing in Mehdi Taremi has no effect in my opinion, their mainstay in the front line is Lautaro Martinez and Mehdi Taremi will only be plotted to be his backup so that the team's good performance continues even though there is player rotation.

Inter Milan was quite strong last season so of course they will make the team much stronger with high targets too, defending the Serie A title and also winning the Champion League title will of course be their main targets, and in my opinion with the strength they have it is very reasonable.

Victor Osimhen looks like he's starting to do like Mbappe with this transfer drama. We all know how much drama there has been between Mbappe and Real Madrid signing but all the drama ended with Mbappe finally signing with Real Madrid this season.

Victor Osimhen wants to leave the club and the club wants to release him in return the club is demanding extra money that other clubs will never accept. If the club wants to sell Victor Osimhen then he must lower his market value because a player like Victor Osimhen can never be worth 100 million plus.

Looking at their drama, it seems that they want to sell him on the face but they want to keep him in the club. Management must come to a clear decision on this matter.
I have the same thought as you, this drama is almost the same as Mbappe's case but Osimhen has a different story because if there is another club that is able to spend a large amount of money, the player will definitely be released.
While in Mbappe's case, PSG is really defending its mainstay player.

Napoli's efforts will actually only make Osimhen even more uncomfortable and of course his performance will decline.
This is the same as Napoli's selfishness without thinking about the risks that will occur because Osimhen could give back to the club like Mbappe did to PSG.

Osimhen wants to leave Napoli and it is useless to keep a player who wants to leave the team. Conte can have a private meeting with him, but Napoli should not refuse attractive offers. Because Osimhen's release clause is 130 Million Euros, which is a very high fee. PSG turned to Osimhen to fill the position vacated by Mbappe and it is the right decision for PSG. PSG now needs Osimhen and players like him. I would love to watch Osimhen in the EPL but 130 Million Euros is a very high price for EPL clubs. Napoli should not miss this opportunity and they should evaluate the offers for Osimhen as soon as possible.

Well done, very good, keeping a player who wants to leave for not so stupid reasons (to advance his career) is a truly huge mistake.  Obviously, as I always say, the fault lies with that stupid president who persists in entering the team mechanisms without him being capable of doing things.
He did damage with Spalletti and now he will do damage with the sale of Victor Osimhen, as per the manual.

The latest news is the swap deal negotiation from Man United and Inter Milan where Man United is looking forward to getting Denzel Dumfries with the option of a swap deal with Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Inter Milan actually showed their interest in Aaron Wan-Bissaka a few months ago. And finally now Man United is also ambitious to get a swap deal. The world is still in the negotiation stage. Previously, Aaron Wan-Bissaka had been rejected for West Ham and now he wants to go to Inter Milan.

Source: BREAKING: Manchester United and #Inter have been offered a Denzel Dumfries-Aaron Wan-Bissaka swap deal

A whole lotta Manchester United fans has shown and expressed how much they love Aaron Wan Bisakka immediately the transfer saga over his sale came up, that's simply because, he has silenced a whole lotta great wingers ( Kylian Mbappe, Neymar Jr, Wilfred Zaha, Raheem Sterling, Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku, Mo Salah, and a couple others I can't remember no more ) ever since he joined Manchester United and has obviously been the best 1vs1 defender in the world.

I know what he brings for Manchester United but these are hard times and hard decisons are meant to be made and I do feel like he's one of them defenders that should leave the club. Mayneethe fee for him to be bought for I'll say is poor, but that doesn't mean he should stay further, he has been a sqaud player, brilliant and excellent part of Manchester United. The thing is Manchester United cannot win the Premier League Competition with a right fullback like Aaron Wan Bisakka, it's a painful decision to make but he needs to go.

I hope they sell him to Inter Milan and not West Ham United because, I don't want to see him pocketing Manchester United winger's when they go on against him.

That's why Inter Milan is about to hire another forward for the next season. It seems they want to hire Depay.

Memphis Depay is one the most important members of the Netherlands national team but currently, he has no club and as a free agent, I don't expect Inter Milan to have any difficulty in signing Depay to the club this summer if the really wish to get him but my concern is fo they actually need Depay when they have two world class strikers in Mehdi Taremi and Lautaro Martinez. The good thing about Depay is he can play as a supporting striker instead of playing as the main striker and that's why he can get playing minutes should he join Inter Milan. I don't expect the club manager to choose him over Lautaro Martinez on big games so if he should sign for Inter Milan, he'll play more from the wing or behind the striker.
For front lines i am sure Inzaghi is more likely to playing Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram because these players is the key players of Inter Milan even last season they have important contribution for Inter Milan in the term of scores goals so to facing important matches i am sure Inzaghi will give his priority to playing them than other players but Inter Milan schedules is very tight for next season so they should have more strikers who can make as the replacement of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram because it's impossible to rely on these players for each matches of next season

So that's why Inter Milan still look for new striker because Inter Milan want to ensure they have good depth of squad and so far Inter Milan has Mehdi Taremi who transfered from Porto but they still attempts to gets at least 1 more striker and Memphis Depay name recently appears because Memphis Depay status currently as free transfer after his contract was terminated by Atletico Madrid and recently his agent offering him to several clubs including Inter Milan

Actually Inter Milan hasn't respond it yet about this rumour because Inzaghi feel probably Memphis Depay will not suitable for his strategy for next season so that's why this transfer have possibility will not be happened moreover Memphis Depay performance during defend Atletico Madrid also not impressive and this alao makes Inzaghi doubt Memphis Depay will be performing well if Inter Milan is really hire him however for the striker Inter Milan has several candidates because besides Memphis Depay Inter Milan also interested want to bought Albert Gudmundsson from Genoa

Napoli have great hopes after they succeeded in recruiting Conte as a coach because currently Napoli have huge ambitions to be able to repeat their achievements in the 2023 season, Conte, who is an experienced coach, of course cannot be doubted about his ability to bring the team he coached to win the championship trophy so far, but even so, Conte still needs a lot of support from napoli management is currently to a position to be able to compete next season in the race for the Scudetto after last season they slumped in Serie A, last season the large number of coach changes that occurred in one season actually made Napoli slump because the players had difficulty understanding the game strategy which was constantly changing at that time, previously Conte refused to train Napoli before the club president (de Laurentiis) is willing to sign an agreement not to interfere in any decisions that Conte takes in manage the Napoli squad while he is coaching.

Yep. No one doubts Conte's ability as a coach but Napoli came from the tenth position, not everything will be resolved easily after the change of coach, and if they want to launch a winning project they have to do it with Kvara as the team's main reference, but De Laurentiis still has to spend money to buy new players.
And Aurelio De Laurentiis must immediately complete the transfer of Osimhen, Napoli doesn't need drama that drains energy that can disturb the concentration team.

Juventus' weak point was Allegri's terrible defensive tactics that suited no one in the team, and they had absolutely no build-up play whatsoever. Juventus traditionally has strong defenders, but they were always able to supplement that with quality midfielders who knew and had the freedom to play football. That wasn't the case under Allegri. Chiesa is a left winger and good as a second striker. When healthy and under the leadership of a good coach, he can contribute with around 10-12 goals a season and around double-digit assists. Looks like we won't witness what could have happened under Motta.
Thiago Motta seems to have analyzed Juventus' shortcomings well. Under previous coach Allegri, the defense was making terrible mistakes. Next year, the first thing they need to pay attention to is not to make these mistakes and I'm sure Motta, as a football player with a history full of success, will pass these on to the players.

Juventus had a pretty weak performance in the last season. Now I hope they will be able to better in this season. The last few matches that Juventus had played in the previous season was absolutely horrible. It was like it didn’t matter who they were playing against, it was like they are going to get one point from that match anyway. Of course Juventus had a lot of problems. But players getting banned and points getting deducted also did not help their cause. But past his past. And The Old Lady will have to put all of those behind them and make sure that they are able to compete for the title in the next season. Let's see how Motta approach this. But he will have to make significant changes in the squad.

Yesterday Mattia Perin said after a 3-0 defeat against Nürnberg, seems they are very optimistic with Motta this season.

The new Napoli's logo catching my eyes, the new logo isn't really Napoli because without using blue sky color, they're losing their identity. The current logo is quite similar like their early logo in 1911-1926.

It much more like Joao Felix than Mbappe drama, actually his market value is higher than 100 Million Euros, which mean it's not wrong for Napoli to demand for 100 Million Euros. It's shame big teams in Premier League don't want to spend such amount, they can afford that.

Case of Mbappe is more complicated than case of Osimhen. Mbappe only wanted to move to Real Madrid, not anywhere else and PSG only wanted to keep Mbappe in their club if there is still chances to convince the player and finalize it. It's different with Osimhen and Napoli. The player is more flexible with his next destination and Napoli don't actually want to keep Osimhen tightly at their club. They only aim to sell him with as highest transfer price as possible to get financial benefit for the club. Napoli are realistic that they don't have good opportunity to win Scudetto or Champions League even they keep Osimhen and buy more players.

Quote
Napoli's efforts will actually only make Osimhen even more uncomfortable and of course his performance will decline.
This is the same as Napoli's selfishness without thinking about the risks that will occur because Osimhen could give back to the club like Mbappe did to PSG.
They only try to create fake efforts to bargain higher transfer price of Osimhen transfer deal with other clubs. I believe soon Napoli will let Osimhen go but with very high price as they don't have to many big reasons to keep the player. To convince Osimhen, they must provide him higher salary which will break their club salary ceiling and bring many effects on their club financial health in future.
