Must be tough being a Napoli fan, from absolute joy and euphoria thanks to the victory last weekend, to dissapoinment and sadness this weekend...
Juventus still has to play vs Roma (probably the toughest match) but even if they lose that match, they'll still have a 1 point lead, I think the fight for the scudetto is over, Napoli put up a good fight, though...their fans should be proud.

And good victory for Lazio against Torino, they're now 4 points above Inter (5th in the league table),

Unfortunately, nothing changed in Serie A. It was a long time since Juventus had a serious contender in Serie A and as soon as they had some, their organized crime network ended that in 22 minutes of 2 games. Amazing!

First Mandžukić makes a dangerous play on Vecino who, while lending, steps on his foot. For this Vecino receives a red card in the 17th minute. We could argue this was indeed justified (it was not), but then we should look for example the situation where Pjanić started on Inter player later during the game..... For that kind of start, even if someone thought it could have been looked through, a red card was awarded for Baselli against Juve in one of the earlier games.... The difference is that in that game Baselli nearly totally missed Pjanić, while Pjanić start had two bases for a direct red card (a hit in the face and a deliberate jump and hit in the ribs with a knee.

Yesterday in the game between Napoli and Fiorentina, Napoli falls short of a man after a duel in which Koulibaly was just a bit late on the ball. However, Serie A referees must have a new rulebook, since I never before so a red card awarded for a clear duel.

Simeonne Jr. finally finishes the league for Juve, causing Koulibaly to be sent off in the eighth minute and then scoring a hat-trick to lead Fiorentina to a 3-0 demolition of Napoli. A week of delusions ended in a very tough way. I feel that the refs we're not in Napoli side this season and Juventus was favorite by the help of refs at the end Napoli are a team worthy of all respect for the spirit and fighting this season despite stumbling on some occasions but they deserve the title with all due merit, but football is unforgiving when you get a chance you have to take that chance that didn't happen now the Bianconeri are in their way to.lift their 7th Scudetto.

Fiorentina defeated Sassuolo last week. But after 10 people left, they got out of the game. Napoli defeated Juventus on the road. They win the last minute. Napoli is fighting for the championship. Both teams will play to win. I am expecting  a lot goals.

Bad news for Napoli is that Chelsea wants to buy Sarri
If Chelsea pay 80 mln euro and Sarri agree he will left Napoli

When it gets tough the tough get going Juventus hats off to their spirited performance I knew they would bounce back and they did it in style. There was always pressure on them to perfand win yet they showed nerves of steel and went through it. It'll be keen to see if Napoli can keep up the pressure on juve or they'll stall. This is exciting times and the thrill only keeps getting better and better.

Juve in his toughest test in recent years and the title at stake if he won the title proved to be the best in the last seven years. Napoli was a fierce opponent in the last seasons and this time it may be the closest after their today win their chances have been boosted to finish at top again because they didn't only win the game but made Roma escape from Inter by making 4 points gap and by that they wouldn't have to work hard in their game that will be played between them and the Bianconeri unless they drop points in other games at the end the league is still in favor for Juventus while Napoli have to wait from  Roma to deliver them the title.

That match certainly lived up to my expectations, one of the best Derby d'Italia that I've seen in a long time...just epic. From Inter going 2-1 up with just 10 men, to Juventus scoring two goals in just 3 minutes ('86 and '89) to end the match 2-3 and keep the 1st spot for another week. What a game.

Now there are two key matches tomorrow: Torino vs Lazio and Fiorentina vs Napoli. Lazio could secure the top 4 spot with a win. Napoli needs the 3 points to keep the pressure on Juventus. Serie A just keeps getting better and better every weekend.

I have high expectations for the Derby d'Italia later today. It's a been a long time since we've had a derby where both teams are in such desperate need of the 3 points. Juventus needs to keep the 1-point lead with Napoli, a win is a must. On the other hand, a victory for Inter means 4th position (Champions League spot) but only if Lazio drops points against Torino tomorrow...still, Inter needs the 3 points today.

I'm looking forward to the game, given the circumstances I think it's going to be intense match, hopefully it won't be as boring as the one from December which ended with a boring 0-0.

Maybe it's lightly offtopic but have a look at what happened in Napoli when the referee whistled the end of the match against juve.

Wonder what might happen in case they would win the championship..we'd risk the third wolrd war  Cheesy
They think as if they have confirmed themselves to be a Serie A winner even though they are 1 point behind Juventus.  Cheesy
Maybe they in the rest of the last game juve will experience defeat and they will continue to win the remaining matches. That is optimistic

wow! I saw the players and Sarri going crazy on the pitch like they just won the Champions League (they're still 1 point behind), but I didn't imagine a city celebrating the victory like that  Shocked...some people could say that they're overreacting...I don't care if they are tbh, I just love seeing this kind of passion around this beautiful sport.

Distance points between Napoli and Juventus are very thin. Juventus will experience a difficult situation to defend the Serie A title as their opponents in the rest of their match are strong teams like Inter and Milan, a very open opportunity for Napoli to be a scudetto in this season.
Napoli successfully embarrass Juventus 1-0 at the Allianz Stadium. This very cautious match ended in dramatic fashion, where Napoli's winning goal was scored in the 90th minute by Kalidou Koulibaly. This result makes the distance points both teams increasingly close, only one point difference. Juventus are 85 points, while Napoli are adding three points to 84 points. Napoli itself just feel the Scudetto title twice in the history of the club, not impossible they mobilize all their skills in the last few games. On the other hand Juventus have to face big teams like intermilan and AC milan, I think seria A will be a more exciting fight.

Surely, it's great at least one league from top championships still stays very exciting to watch for the rest of the season. However, I can't believe in such an awful performance from Juve yesterday. To my mind, being the richest club in the country with an intention to dominate on the local area, you shouldn't play so passively. It seems like a disrespect towards fans. I don't know if Allegri's biggest "dream" for the match was a draw, but anyway, Napoli fully deserves the win. Hope, the finish will be hotter)

Genoa lost points during the week. They could not be productive on the offensive line. Verona is struggling to stay in the league. Genoa's score average is low. Verona did not score a goal in 5 of the last 6 games. I am expecting a low score game.

Napoli dominated the game by pressing down on Juventus players so they could not develop the game. Seeing conditions like this in the first half there is the possibility of Napoli can steal 3 points at the Allianz Stadium. But, it is not easy because the championship mentality of Juventus is very strong and their defense is very solid to resist attacks from Hamsik and Insigne. The worthy score for this match is 1-0 for Juventus victory.

Not easy, but I was REALLY surprised that Juventus didn't attack at home, was it not even a single shot on target? They have nothing else to play for, a win for them would really have put the final nail into the coffin for Napoli's resistance.

But Napoli, what can I say? Over 10 shots, faitful to their 4-3-3 and even substituting Martens when he seemed to tire, with more attacking power? 1-0 and the title is all for their taking again. Lovely football. Got my splendid bet won (lost the over 2 goals but still much more in profit), so my weekend's done and dusted!
yeah, Juventus didn't have one shot on target, and only 40% ball possession, that's just shocking. But tbh, I don't think Napoli was playing great football, just their usual style, but the dreadful performance from Juventus made Napoli look like the old Napoli from the Maradona era. I think Allegri wanted at least a draw, they were too conservative throughout the whole game while Napoli was aggressive from start to finish, Sarri knew that this match was key.

Title race is on, and Juventus has to play against Inter next saturday, and Roma in about 3 weeks. Thank you Serie A, for being the most entertaining league this season.
