I have had my doubts about Napoli to sustain this because of not scoring many goals in a game in general compared to Inter. However they still seem really solid. Seeing them playing this good in a big game proved how much Conte wants to bring the title for Napoli this season.

But still Inter can take the lead with goal difference in case of winning their missing game. The Serie A is really lovely to follow this season.    I wish Atalanta also get up and fix their form as soon as possible not to be out of the title competition earlier.

Yes, you are right. This win feels like a breath of fresh air for Lazio after so any series of disappointing performance in the league of late. Well they faced a much lesser team hellas Verona. A team that is currently battling for a survival as they are currently in the religation zone. But it was a well rounded display from Lazio as they played cohesively as a team and got all three point against Hellas Verona.

In as much as they are currently in good form in the Europa League I don't believe they are the strongest candidate to win this seasons Europa League trophy. Their inability to perform in crucial matches makes it very difficult if impossible for them to able to achieve such feat.

I think it is very difficult for Atalanta to be able to maintain the pace for the entire duration of the championship, it is truly the pace of a top European club and I don't think Atalanta will be able to maintain this status for long, but anything can be given that we are talking about a team that managed to win the Europa League with 3 goals, one more beautiful than the other, so anything is possible, I would also add that Gasperini is a really good coach and that he knows how to convey the right spirit to the team

The Atalanta team is only seven points behind the current Serie A leaders, Napoli, which means that there are still many opportunities for Atalanta to catch up with Napoli and Inter Milan in the next few matches if in some of these matches Napoli and Inter Milan do not get full points or do not get any points at all. In this match, both teams tried hard to win, although there was no goal for either team for a long time. After half time, Inter team young player Lautaro Maryinez managed to score a goal with his foot magic. I don't consider Atalanta as a competitor for Napoli in the title race. They're not gonna compete for the title, but it was Inter Milan who's gonna be main competitor for Napoli. Inter has been favorite to win the scudettoo instead of Napoli.

I guess the story will be that Napoli will fall in the late season, then Intermilan surpass them. I think this is the most possible narrative following how Napoli's always up and down at the late season.

Inter's odds gives me enough confidence they're gonna defend their title.

Atalanta lost their best moment in the previous four matches so that when they faced Napoli they got worse again and that was really used by Napoli to get full points in the match. Napoli performed better after losing to Lazio so they tried to play more carefully so as not to lose points and this strategy succeeded in making them win the match. If you look at the position in the standings and the number of points obtained, Inter Milan and Napoli will be the strongest candidates in the fight for the Scudetto because Atalanta is starting to create a distance from the two teams so it will be a little more difficult to catch up on the points.

Yeah, they are 3 points left behind Napoli, and Inter still have 1 match yet to be played, possible that inter will shift Napoli's position when they win it, because Inter has best goal different than Napoli. When looking at the first half, I'm a bit pessimistic that Inter will win it. Atalanta does seem to have lost their balance lately but they are still in the top 3 and cannot be said to be out of the title race because we don't know what will happen in the future whether Napoli or Inter experience a setback in several matches and Atalanta returns to the top of the standings again, the competition in the top 3 is still very tight Atalanta still has a big chance to restore the situation to its original state if they evaluate their mistakes and start improving their performance in the next matches to catch up.

That's why I doubt Fiorentina even though they have the advantage in defense but Fiorentina really need a more qualified forward to balance the strength of the defense and attack lines. From that incident, Raffaele Palladino should know what he has to do to bring the team to a higher level. Both Inter Milan and Lazio have their big wins this week and they are contributing to very exciting races in both top four and Scudetto. Lazio are creating big pressure on Atalanta and Inter Milan are chasing Napoli very tightly too. Possibly Lazio will be able to take over a third position of Atalanta soon, and Inter Milan in theory can have a same total point like Napoli. Inter Milan had a difficult match with Empoli but they managed to score three goals in late minutes of the match and won it with a big result.

Atalanta had a long streak of unbeaten, with 15 matches like this, but in three previous matches, they had three draws and this week, it's a loss. They are falling in performances last four match days, and this downward form affects their position in Serie A. Now they are falling behind Napoli and Inter Milan, but there is enough pressure from Lazio too.

Atalanta must wake up as soon as possible and get back on winning track, if they can not, they will have high risk of falling to a fourth position. Right, Atalanta has experienced bad performance lately without victory in the last 4 matches and we can say they are no longer the main competitor to fight over the title, whereas before we knew Atalanta was very aggressive and consistent since the beginning of the season but for some reason their performance continued to decline. Yes but it became quite an exciting game then. Crazy how Napoli is back on track and how Atalanta is crashing nonstop. Early this season I thought that Atalanta is a serious candidate for the title, but this has changed dramatically now. 7 points behind and the trend is as bad as it can get for them. Juventus still not a single defeat and yet they are essentially out of the title race with all those draws to their account. It's probably the first undefeated team in the history that did not become the champions in the end! Still some games to go, but there is nothing positive about not losing if you don't win either

Napoli seems to be the team that can uphold their momentum and of course as of now are actually the biggest favorites.

Inter Milan knew they needed to win their game against Empoli to still keep their hopes of catching up with league leaders alive. To be honest, I didn't expect Empoli to give Inter Milan much problems the visitors were resilient enough in the first half not to concede a goal but at the end, Inter Milan were able to break the deadlock and claim all three points which was the most important thing for them in the game.
With the win, Inter Milan are now second with just three points behind league leaders Napoli having played a game less than the league leaders. If Inter Milan can win their outstanding game, they'll equal Napoli's points and that will open room for a fierce battle for who'll be crowned Italian champion at the end of the season. Can Inter retain the title? I think they have all it takes to achieve such a great feat.

In the first half, the match was quite boring, although Inter seemed more dominant and several times endangered the opponent's defense, but they still failed to score a goal, even after being so close. The tension began when Martinez was injured in the 24th minute, it was worrying, fortunately it was not a big problem.

Until finally, Martinez actually opened up the opportunity for victory with his first goal in the second half with an assist from Barella. Dumfries with an assist from Aslani emphasized the leading position with his goal in the 79th minute. And finally, Thuram who just came on in the 69th minute and added another goal in the 89th minute.

With this victory, Inter established themselves in 2nd position, and are very close to Napoli, especially since Inter still has 1 point, here, Napoli's position is indeed quite threatened in the Schudetto title race.

Empori understood that Inter usually forces their attack so well that they try not to miss out on almost every opportunity especially when play against a team they consider weak or not of equal strength with them and of ourselves Inter have got a better form and depth than Empoli,  so the ideal was to conced very few amounts of goals via a full blown defence tactics because they understand they were still going to concede but that was a tactics to manage the numof goals they will be conceding,  the game ended with Inter still been able to get three goals so it was almost pointless all of the defense tactics.

The games has ended and inter Milan won Empoli. Inter Milan are in a good position as they have one game still to play while Napoli that are top of the table has played more games. Napoli is using only 3 points to pass inter Milan therefore there's a chance that Inter Milan can still take the first position soon. The game against Empoli had a not so interesting first half as there were no goals scored although there were some chances created. All the goals came in the second half of the game from both clubs and it saw Inter Milan scored 3 goals while Empoli were able to score only one goal. Napoli are the only club with 100% win rate in the last 5 games in the league

The match ended with a score of 3-1 for Inter Milan victory. The expected goals were created in the second half, Martinez, Dumfries and Thuram alternately breaking into the Empoli goalkeeper. In the first half, the Empoli survival strategy makes it difficult for Inter Milan to create many opportunities. A new goal was created 10 minutes after the second half was running, after the Simone Inzaghi squad played more aggressively. An additional 3 points make Inter Milan continue to stick closely Napoli at the top of the standings, and if they can win in the postponed match, their number of points will be the same as Napoli in the future.

Atalanta started well, but now things seem to be changing. It seems they are losing form a little bit. Over the last four matches, Atalanta have not been able to win any. The results were not that bad, but considering what I was aiming for at this period, they had the opportunity to stay on top of the table. I was expecting them to fight for this season's Serie A trophy, but with the way things are going, I don't think they can fight for it anymore.What is important now is that Atalanta should try to maintain a top-four position at the end of the season. However, if they continue with these results, they may not finish in the top four by the end of the season.


Inter Milan are finding it difficult to score because Empoli is fully playing a defensive pattern. If Inter Milan really want to win this game, they need to come back with full force and tactics. If not, they will still not score any goals. Empoli's defense seems to be very strong.inter Milan are just making touches, but creating good chances to score is proving difficult. Inter need to win this game so that they have a better chance to fight for this season's Serie A trophy. If they don’t stay close to Napoli, Inter may later find it difficult to overtake Napoli, especially with the one outstanding match they have.
