I have opposite thought regarding it. Napoli is weaker compared to the intermilan. Intermilan was always owning napoli in the previous matches. how can napoli to win against intermilan that is still having unbeatable record till now in serie a? I would rather than bet on intermilan rather than napoli.
Intermilan lost through penalty against atletico madrid while napoli battered by barcelona. So, let's take a conclusion of intermilan is more favoring to win the current game rather than napoli. Calzona must be ready in facing another lose soon.

I don't think they really need to worry about the Champions League that much because they still have a good option of winning Serie A. Assuming they don't have options like winning the league now, I may say they will be that so worry.Even before, Inter Milan did not only focus mostly on the champion league; they focused on both the league and the champion league mostly. If Inter Milan focused on the Champions League like that, they should have benched some of their key players when they played Bologna when they knew they had a tough match ahead against Atletico. so. I don't think that eliminating them from the Champions League will cause a lot of damage to their players. 
 
In Inter's next match against Napoli, I know the match will be tough because Napoli's performance has improved, so if Inter Milan really needs three points from the match, they need to be serious because now that Napoli is also out of the champion league, they will focus fully on the league now just to get an opportunity to end the top four in the table so they can qualify for the next season's champion league. 

Intermilan was not playing badly but it's just unlucky caused by it was playing away. Intermilan did some horrible executions duringt he penalty and this is also makig the situation worst when the first failed penalty was happening. It gives major impact to the next executors even lautaro martinez lost his cnofidence to execute it.
that's why his shoots were going up and became very inaccurate. The early executors must able to help club to win the title of this season. Winning scudetto is more than enough for intermilan fans. I do agree with you if the result against ATM totally unpredictable.
None ever imagined that how intermilan lost the game against ATM which is a shameful result for intermilan even though the club was performing so perfect in this match,

The truth remains that Inter Milan is the best performing team in the league right now as the evidence is clearly seen in the league table so losing against ATM will affect them but that wouldn't stop them from focusing on the most important thing to them right now which is securing the league trophy which they are 70% sure of winning already due to the gap between them and the second place so playing against the defending champions Napoli who also lost against Barcelona shouldn't deter them from dropping points.

For the other teams Bologna and Empoli, Bologna has shown that they have got what it takes to be in the champions League next season i think that's one important achievement they will be proud of take the performance till the end of the season, they were better in performance today despite winning with a lone goal.

It's true, Inter can still celebrate by winning the Scudetto even though they were eliminated in the Champions League, their fate is even better than several teams that are still in the quarter finals at the moment. If Dortmund, ATM, Barcelona and Bayern are eliminated, then they will end the season empty-handed, in that case Inter is still better.

To me this is actually the most surprising outcome in the Champions League so far. I put them on one level with Manchester City and Real Madrid and the fact that it was an inconsistent and erratic Atletico Madrid that eliminated them somehow makes me sad. I would have liked to see them further play in the Champions League. They are an incredibly strong and balanced team and it is too bad that some of their best penalty takers failed when they couldn't afford to do so. In my opinion it is a loss to the Champions League competition now as they played great football. But it is not always the best team that wins, which is ok. But if I had the choice, I would go with Inter instead of Atletico all the time.

Inter Milan have been very impressive this season both in the Italian domestic competitions and in the European Cup but unfortunately for them, they were eliminated in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League competition which has made a lot of people to question their depth and strength as a team. Yeah I also pay attention to this match and I know Bologna really needs 3 points they controlled the match since the first minute with 20 shot efforts luckily the goal was scored in the 90+4 minute this means that Bologna is still on the safe track because in the previous match Bologna was defeated by Inter Milan, currently Bologna is safe with 6 points adrift and also for the upcoming 3 matches Bologna will fight weak teams then on April 21 they had to fight AS Roma.

While AS Roma must win in the next fight against Sassuolo and we know Sassuolo is struggling to get out of degradation zone certainly not easy to beat them, previously Sassuolo won in the last match and this will increase their confidence in the next fight. Even though against a strong team like AS Roma, I'm sure they will try to get points at least one point and Sassuolo only needs 3 points to get out of the relegation zone.

I don't think we must feel worried with the mentality of Inter Milan players. They must realize that they must focus on Serie A now because it is the only competition they are playing and it has a high chance to win the title. Inter Milan is a great team, they often face the same problem. It is not the first time they are eliminated in UCL. They even failed in UCL in the final round in the last season.  Inter  Milan are no longer faced with the European contest and so for inter Milan and Juventus, they've still got extra time to prepare ahead for the league games. Against Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan did well to stay in the game but it wasn't just well enough to help them advance in the contest. They've gained enough grounds this season and it's profitable to them considering how well and useful their position has been and will be for them in subsequent games and seasons too.

After being eliminated from the Champions League, I'm actually quite curious about the mentality of the Inter players now. Are they under pressure and don't believe in their consistent achievements so far and instead have to be eliminated in a round where they shouldn't be? If that's the case, they should forget about it immediately. It's not good for a team that is clearly going to win the Serie A title this season and it's better for them not to be distracted by that.
