I must be honest that I'm quite disappointed at Bologna this later part of the season. They started the season very well and were comfortably with the first four teams until later in the season when they started showing some weaknesses which I cannot really explain. They will definitely qualify for Champions league next season since there are five teams qualifying from Italy but for the remaining matches of the season, there is no point expecting them to win any of them. They will be playing against Juventus and Napoli next and finally Genoa and none of these matches that is guaranteed to be easy for them to win.

Juventus is ahead of the 6th team (that's Roma) by 6 points, so their position in the top 5 with 4 rounds before the end of the season is undeniable. Another thing is that at the end of the season they had a real disaster (3 wins in the last 15 games), so I don’t think that they will play with Roma relaxed - even if in tournament terms this game will mean little for Juventus, but they will try to win. And then Roma faces a very difficult game with Atalanta, and both teams will be tired after their games in the Europa League. In my opinion, Roma is a clear outsider in the fight for the top 5.

Bologna again wasted their chance to win 3 points in the match against Torino yesterday, with the draw achieved against Torino, of course, Bologna's current position is starting to be threatened and maybe they can even get out of the Champions League zone because indeed the opponents that will be faced in the remaining 3 matches of the season are quite tough, namely facing Napoli and Juventus,  While the remaining 1 match looks like it will look easy if Bologna can improve its game performance later against Genoa, for now Roma have a greater chance to end the season in the Champions League because indeed the difference in points they have is not too big if Roma can beat juventus the weekend later, if Roma manage to get 3 points from Juventus of course Bologna is only 2 points away with the rest matches as same.

I don't expect Bologna to lose their Champions League spot while there are many variables in this. If the lower possibility comes true then there is nothing to do.    Bologna have started to lose many points recently though. First they need to start winning again. They shouldn't be complacent on the crucial weeks.

If Bologna is ultimately thrown out of the top four of the standings because they failed to secure full points in the remaining 3 matches, then that would be a shame. Drawing with Udinese and Torino has made their position difficult, where Napoli, Juventus and Genoa could again thwart Bologna steps in the next match. Roma and Atalanta clearly hope that Bologna will lose their balance so that they can both move up one place.

However, in this situation, Bologna is quite lucky, I think, where their two closest competitors, namely Roma and Atalanta, will face each other, and interestingly it involves Juventus. Overall, positions 3 and 4 in the standings will be open for grabs again, this will certainly be an interesting competition towards the end of the season, even though on the other hand Inter have already confirmed themselves as champions. Changes in positions in the top five will definitely happen again, tickets to play in the Champions League next season are the main target.

Bologna must immediately get up to take advantage of the momentum they have, because the 35 matches they have played previously will be determined in the remaining 3 matches. Bologna opportunity to finish in 3rd place is also quite open, but what they have to be aware of is the threat posed by Roma. betting on Inter winning seems too risky even though the odds are quite big but for me it is not worth the risk we are taking and now we think logically that if Inter has got perfect results this season it has already locked the Scudetto and any results will have no effect on Inter and on On the one hand, it seems that in the remaining matches Simone Inzaghi will try to use second tier players to provide more experience because since the start of the season second tier players have rarely been in the starting line up.

Today in Italian Serie A Sassuolo vs Inter and Monza vs Lazio will be played. There are only two matches on the schedule today. Inter won the league title last week. I will focus on Monza vs Lazio. Igor Tudor, who took over after Sarri, has turned Lazio into a better team. Looking at the statistics we can see that they have won 5 of their last 6 league games. If they maintain this consistency they can finish 5th in the league and qualify for the European Cups. I see them as favorites in this match.

After Sarri leave Lazio this team was received several poor results but recently Lazio has found their consistency again and in all competitions Lazio can gets 4 winning streak and these results too makes Lazio currently only have 4 points below to Roma the team from Europa League zone and if Lazio can playing more consistency and not lost until this season ended then i am sure they have good chances to finish at higher position on League Table and for Monza i think this match result won't have any affect to their positions on League table because lost or win Monza position still secured and they won't be relegated

Although this is home match for Monza but i highly doubt they can be the winner of this match because Monza was lost their consistency and from 6 latest matches Monza only get 1 win however about the squad conditions between them for today i can see Roberto Gagliardini will be absense because he was got suspension but besides him all of Monza players will be available and for Lazio too all of their players in the good fitness and ready to play and because Lazio performance which more better than Monza then i think they will became an the winner of this match and Lazio win has odds @1.87

As far as I know, there are four additional teams for the Champions League next season, but that doesn't mean there will automatically be five teams from the big leagues who qualify for the Champions League, because the four additional teams are based on their performance, and yeah, as far as calculations, Serie A is certain to have 5 representatives in the champions league for next season with the Bundesliga also 5 representatives and the remaining two places still being contested by other leagues.
If we look at Roma's performance in the last two matches where they lost as a home team then Juventus has a chance to win and remain in its current position, but the threat from Atalanta will probably give Roma more motivation to play better and ensure their current place is not taken over by Atalanta, who this week will only face the weakest team at the moment, Salernitana, is very likely for Atalanta to get three points.

Bologna will have tough matches ahead but Roma and Atalanta will have their difficult matches too, they even have a direct match with each other too. Risk from Lazio is very small because Lazio can get up to 67 points by winning all their 4 remaining matches but it will be the same of Bologna's total points 67 with an assumption above.

Things look not good for Bologna but I believe they will succeed to defend their position in top five.

Juventus qualifying for next season champions league league is not negotiable, in area of what to expect, lets not forget that there are teams that are perceived as champions league teams and Juventus is one of them, yea, Juventus has not been up to expectation this season but the fact is that we don't know what will become of them next season and it is better for us to watch what and see what their performance will be like next season, I think Juventus may be adding some quality players in their team next season with the effect of this in that team things will really change.
I think why Juventus management is buying more time for the the coach and th players is because they are patiently waiting for changes and good result next season.

There is nothing so serious about Udinese this season because they are just a small team struggling to survive relegation to Serie B with their major contender being Empoli. With two points gap and Udinese unable to win any match since middle of match, it is extremely difficult for them to overtake Empoli who have tried to win two matches within the same period even though they lost the rest without a single draw. What I think will happen is that the status quo will be maintained until the end of the season as it is only remaining two matches which Udinese may not even win any of them.

Torino 0 - 0 Bologna

I don't know what's happening with Bologna, in the last few games they haven't been able to win, they've had a lot of draws, although they're not losing, see this:



It is a very worrying scenario for Bologna, mainly because Bologna next opponents will be:

Napoli
Juventus
Genoa

They are opponents that can cause Bologna to lose points and probably not get a place in the European Champions League, just when there are only 3 games left for the league to end, they who had an excellent campaign this season, managed to reach the top 4, for That's why, in my opinion, they shouldn't be losing points in games they could win at this final stage of the league, it would be disappointing if they don't get a place in the European Champions League. In today's game they drew against Torino, which this season is a disaster, in the last few games they haven't managed to win in any game, that's why I was hoping that Bologna would be able to come out of the game against Torino with a victory.


I also agree that Juventus will qualify for next season's European Champions League, but I'm wondering what can be expected from Juventus in the European Champions League with this squad and coach? It seems to me that Juventus won't be able to get through the group stage of the European Champions League if they get a place next season, with Juventus management insisting on keeping things as they are, I don't expect anything big from Juventus, unfortunately. I can't understand why it's so difficult for Juventus management to make changes

Yeah since the middle of the season Juventus have been playing badly and nothing can be expected from them their only target is to get tickets to the Champions League next season and basically Juventus is still not safe unless Juventus can continue to draw, maybe they will still be in the top 4. AS Roma who are in 5th place, are still trying to catch up they are 6 points behind 2 competitors while AS Roma only has 4 remaining matches so AS Roma must be able to win all the remaining matches I mean if AS Roma only wins 3 out of 4 matches it's not safe enough.

The Seria A is not longer consider favorable for Juventus who are currently struggling to enter their prime. What happen to Juventus this season? They've been completely out of the scudetto this season and yearning for a better form which they're finding challenges. Bianconeri coach, Massimiliano Allegri is doing his best but looks like his best is not good enough, having face huge burdens and hurdles on his path to success, making the team dropped out of top tournaments.

I heard that there will be 5 teams to qualify for the next season in UCL. If it is true, Juventus shouldn't be worried although they can't get points in the match against AS Roma. Juventus will win 2 matches after the match against AS Roma at least. They will play against Salernitana (matchday 36) and against Monza (matchday 38). I believe Juventus will stay in the top 4 of Serie A standings.

However, I think Juventus can get 1 point in AS Roma home. If we look at the results of the latest matches of AS Roma and Juventus, most of them are draw results. AS Roma isn't in a good performance in the last few matches. I think it is because AS Roma is too focused on Europa league match. Unfortunately, AS Roma failed to get optimum points in few matches in Serie A.

Well no doubts Juventus is at risk of been displaced by the team directly behind them which happens to be bologna and they may most likely get to loose the position as the point difference is just one if Bologna gets to win their own fixture which is actually not looking like a tough game for them so Juventus should try tow in Roma.

As Roma had a really poor performance in their last fixture in the Europa and I actually feel that will even affect their psychology Ina way that they will most definitely affect their performance in their domestic league because AS Roma was hoping they will be able to get through to the finals of the Europa and even if they don't get to win the league it will be in the record that they have been able to have gone this far in the Europa this season but giving them Leverkusen at  this time was actually the most unlucky thing that has happened to them in the Europa.

The fact that they are going to loose the Europa this season by virtue of loosing to Leverkusen is most definitely going to affect their performance against Juventus, moreover they usually don't get to be able to win Juventus in a normal game so I'm not doubting if they eventually get to loose because Juventus if not for their set back isn't a weak team that will be challenged by Roma who's just an average team.
