Again and again AS Roma continued their positive trend, after previously they managed to beat Torino with a score of AS Roma 3 - 2 Torino, this time they managed to beat Monza. Even though they didn't have a clean sheet, they had lots of goals that emphasized their dominance. AS Roma's 4 goals were scored by Pellegrini, Lukaku, Dybala and Leandro Paredes.
I think it will be a bad thing when DDR becomes AS Roma manager, and now I think I should take that thought back, LOL.
With this win, AS Roma are currently in fifth place in the Serie A standings, they deserve it, next up is Atalanta, if Atalanta can't get at least a draw against Bologna, they won't be able to take back fifth place.
It is very natural to previously doubt the quality of De Rossi strategy, because he still lacks experience in managing a team, even though we know he is a legend at the club. Now De Rossi has slowly succeeded in carrying out this managerial role very well, they seem to have regained momentum after being left by Jose Mourinho. Since De Rossi took over control of the team, Roma have only lost once, namely to Inter Milan. The 4-1 victory over Monza was very important, because it brought them closer to the Champions League zone. Roma management has taken the right step by appointing De Rossi as head coach.
Fourth place in the standings is currently being fiercely contested, involving Bologna, Roma and Atalanta. Roma certainly hopes that Atalanta can lose points, so that their position in the standings is safe, and Bologna themselves have the ambition to confirm their position from the pursuit of Roma and Atalanta. But if Atalanta can secure full points, then they will move up to fourth in the standings by overtaking Roma and Bologna. In my opinion, the match between Atalanta versus Roma is likely to end in a draw, even though we know Atalanta is a little lucky because they act as hosts. But Bologna are currently in their best form, so a draw might be fair for both teams.
