After two early goals, the match was kind of balancing but this means Lazio failed to equalize the match and Roma succeed to have three important goals. This win and three points from it, are not enough for Roma to jump in the league table, but it means a lot for their improvement, confidence and potentially better matches ahead. Roma will need to win like 2 or 3 more matches to jump higher in Serie A and to take over the 8th position from AC Milan will need more time, as that team have played 2 matches less than Roma.

Roma played better in this game, and i must admit how Lazio did it very wrong by using 4-3-3 instead of 4-3-2-1. The result may not as bad as now if Baroni implement some adjustments in this derby, sadly he's not.
Ranieri showed he has tons of experience in this game, and two goals enough for his club to secure three points. His team play fully defensive in the rest of games after led the game.
Lazio went down so hard in their recent games, Baroni must do something to help his club.

It seems to be true for now as they were not able to win 3 out of their last 4 games, which is quite a significant downturn in their performance compared to the beginning of the season. They are now falling behind so much that I doubt they will get another chance to compete for the title this season. Inter Milan, Atalanta and Napoli are too consistent and would have to drop a lot of points such that Lazio can close the gap again.
It is somewhat surprising as Lazio seemed to be extremely stable for quite some time. Bad timing I think and it is now 9 points, which is quite a lot given that the other teams are delivering their top game so frequently.

It seems that today I will only choose this one match but I haven't placed a bet yet.
For now I see both teams are in very inconsistent form. It's just that Lazio started the season better and was able to get the best position. Unfortunately lately it seems very unpredictable how Lazio's performance will be.
I see bookmakers favoring Roma with odds @2+ and a draw @3+. While for Lazio with odds @3+. Seeing the current condition of both teams, it seems that I will place a bet on a draw or maybe a win for Lazio. I will choose one of those results.
My main reason for thinking that Lazio will win is because they are aiming to play in the champions league next season, so they will do their best to win this match in order to increase their point gap with Juventus.

Under Ranieri's coaching we have indeed seen an improvement in AS Roma's performance. Although it wasn't a fast and big improvement but it was just a slow improvement but it went pretty well slowly. I'm still not sure whether AS Roma will win this match. So I prefer to favor Lazio in this match to win. But I also hope that both teams score goals and most likely there will be quite a lot of goals in this match. And I hope this match is not boring where one team uses a defensive strategy.
With Dybala in their debut squad for this derby, Roma will have more creativeness and flexibility in their attacks. Dybala will be their main source for these things, and Dovbyk can receive more good passes from his teammates with appearance of Dybala in this match.In first few minutes, Roma seem to want playing proactively in attacks but no clear chance is made so far.
