Inter Milan, Juventus and Ac Milan are almost certain to get slots in the Champions League next season. The competition took place in the fight for fourth place. I think Atalanta, Bologna and Roma will compete fiercely to get the final champions league ticket. I favor Atalanta who will get fourth place in the standings. Their performance is very good and consistent. But they have the same points as Bologna. It will be difficult for Atalanta because they have to maintain the consistency of their game if they don't want their position to be shifted by Bologna or Roma.
Three of the biggest (historically) teams in the Serie A will be back at the top again, and they are doing something great as well. Inter has been great so far this season and last year they were the UCL finalist, and Juventus has been going through some tough time and with the punishment last year and all, they had some issues.
Milan is the only one and I am assuming that they will change the manager and a few players and be better again as well. I think when you think about it, we are going to see these three do very well at UCL next season for sure. I do not care who will be the fourth, Atalanta could be the one, but I think it's quite obvious that we are going to see these top three teams do very well next season.
It is certain that Inter, Juventus Milan will play in the Champions League next season, regardless of how they rebuild their squad after the season ends. One more slot involving the three teams Atalanta, Bologna and Roma could be said to continue to be fierce, but in terms of momentum, Roma could possibly reach the top four in the near future. Of course it's not easy, but with De Rossi presence, Roma is now better than before.
Atalanta will face a number of tough matches in the next few matches, where they will face Milan, Inter and Bologna. Meanwhile, Bologna itself will face Verona, Atalanta and Inter. On the other hand, in the next three matches, Roma will face slightly easier opponents, namely Torino, Monza and Fiorentina.
If De Rossi succeeds in bringing his team consistently, then they will succeed in breaking into the top four of the standings and accompany Inter, Juventus and Milan next season in appearing in the Champions League. But Serie A still has 13 matches left this season, where their fate is still very difficult to predict, including the fate of several coaches who are rumored to be leaving at the end of the season.
