Football is basically an industry based in the sport. Many Serie A clubs are struggling financially. The Super Cup prize is important for them. It helps them get additional income to fund the club. I'd rather see football as a business, but totally depends on how people view it.

As for the result of Super Cup, just give Inter the trophy. They will obviously win it. Their opponent in the final ain't nothing for them no matter whether it's Juve or Ac Milan.

It was a brilliant 2-0 victory for Inter Milan who yet again displayed their superiorty over Atlanta despite speculations of Atlanta been the favourite. Dumfries is so classical in his finishes. I won't doubt it if Inter gets the Super Cup. Juventus nor AC Milan shouldn't be a challenge for Inter. If they were able to scale through Atlanta without stress then they are the favourite to win the Super Cup. A defender with a great foot is indeed a big plus to Inter.

Denzel Dumfries first goal which was a classic overhead kick was wonderful but it was also controversial. It seems that the goalscorer fouled Giorgio Scalvini during the build up. But referee Daniele Chiffi and his VAR counterpart Rosario Abisso felt that it was not a foul. Atalanta have no excuse for losing the match since the Dutchman scored a brace making the game 2-0. Coach Gian Piero Gasperini made some changes and it contributed to Atalanta's poor display. According to him, he made those changes so that he could give some players the chance to play.

I was expecting the footballers to do what the Italy FA did, to play just for money. As it stands no one would say they didn't do what they did for money and is so sad that the football we love and cherish is gradually losing its value. We shouldn't be surprised when other leagues starts doing the same thing, they should not say they're promoting the league, it should be some of these smaller leagues like China league that should do such a thing, tonight's game wasn't fun at all, there is nothing special in this final 4 or whatever they call it.
I felt the Atalanta side should have gotten the winner in this game but I still see them playing the same way they played against Madrid, no much seriousness after they played like they were going to win the game in the second half, on a serious note, I prefer to watch the Italian league game than this very final 4.

Napoli are pretty good under Antonio Conte, I will be betting on Napoli to win the match.

You want a real spectacle?Then you need the chaos, you need the fans going bananas! That is the missing element of the so-called "Final Four" in Saudi. Sure, revenue streams are as big as the Grand Canyon, but are we losing the magic? Italy's old-school stadium feel is no longer present. Huh

Atalanta attempted to set the pace - Zappacosta was running those wings, Zaniolo attempted to impress but fell short, leaving Inter to sweep the floor. Simone Inzaghi is a knockout specialist; he's won the Coppa Italia and the Supercopa. Will he just keep rolling? That must be the question, right?

Inter Milan deserves to be favored as a strong candidate to win the Italian Super Cup trophy this season, regardless of their opponent in the final later between Juventus and AC Milan. Actually, the Italian Super Cup is not so prestigious, but the trophy can be entertainment for fans, and the choice of venue in Saudi Arabia brings many financial benefits for both teams. Atalanta defeat was not surprising, because before the match started, Inter Milan was far more favored.
