fortunately I have never been trapped in that, even though I am still a beginner and new to the world of crypto investment, but I believe more in myself than in other people.
on the other hand, I'm also not interested in this, what are they for, if they are proficient in trading or something, why don't they just trade on their own and don't need to invite other people.

Nothing is free in the crypto world. Even for a normal airdrop, you must complete a task in order to be eligible for the airdrop. Giving your private keys to me just like that is very weird.

I often wonder what would make someone disclose their private keys to me without making me question their actions. I have been notified about such a move in numerous Telegram private messages. My usual action is to hit the block.

My cryptocurrency conviction is that you can't just give a stranger access to your private keys without you having ulterior motives.

In this space nobody is a fool except you are totally new to crypto and you decide to take a step without doing research, how can a stranger send you their log in information for an exchange and tell you that they are entrusting you with their money and you believe?

How can someone have access to millions of dollars and you are the God sent stranger they can give the key to the millions and you are promised a share part? Do you work for the money?
A typical aging the victim kind of scam. Someone tried that with me back in the day. Coming ate with things like, "I went on vacation to a different country with some crypto ba regulations and wanted me to make withdrawals on his behalf... directed me on what go do of which, I objected because, I already knew how all that was to end".

Either way, it's pretty dumb to hope that, such level of responsibility would be given just anyone. Something I always ask myself;
These individuals that wants to entrust you their life savings worth millions, don't they have relatives or friends that could work that for them?
Why you?

And on your part and I don't mean the OP in all this but,
Why would you hope or want to hold in your possession someone's fortune because your asked to?

It's supposed to scare you.

Thanks for the information been a newbies we can likely fall in this because we don't know but I guess with all this we have to learn from our past and from others mistake so we will not fall into that or be  victim too.
I guess we need to get away greed from us so we'll not fall in the hands of scammers. I hope before you will like to become an investor on bitcoin you need to have known alot about bitcoin.
Well for real we have the good ones and also the bad ones too so we don't know who is who so we just need to be okay with what ever we have with us.

I receive this type of offers on telegram a lot, the solution was blocking messages from unknown numbers in telegram settings, I've given more than five people a chance but it all end up a scam, I knew they are lying the moment they say they can't withdraw their own money.

Telegram and Twitter is the den of this type of scam. Most times when I receive messages from unknown number seeking for help with their wallet/exchange account or trying to teach me how to earn passively I don't even bother to reply them because I already know that it definitely going to end up as a scam or it's just going to waste the time I should have been spending on other things that would have profited me.
And just as you said disabling unknown numbers from reaching on telegram can help you prevent messages like that but that's only if you don't use your Telegram account for business purposes.

You need to wise up, in this world today, people don't give up something without wanting something back, nothing is actually for free, so if someone contacted you on Twitter, Telegram or any social media platforms saying they can make you rich by helping them or they played dump as if they can't operate their own wallet or account they are 100% scammers.
The same goes for selling trading signals, and it's not hard to see what if someone could make money from it, then it would not make sense for him to sell this information. This is all done just to make money off of you (or steal it, depending on the situation).

There are so many stories about it, it happened so many times and every time there are those who believe it. Such is human nature, a person wants to get something just like that, but this does not happen, especially when it comes to money.

I would be very surprised if anyone is still falling for this sort of crime today. This scheme is very cheap and everyone should have heard about it by now...

As long as there are newcomers who are not sufficiently aware of how the cryptocurrency market functions and the basics of its security, there will always be an offer from scammers that will be aimed at taking money from them. So the main thing for saving your deposit is knowledge.

Consider that Telegram is a scammers' paradise and you shouldn't really trust anyone there unless you manage to verify their authenticity. There have been many similar cases in the past where someone tried to offer us money simply by helping him withdraw his money from a certain (unknown) exchange, and it was purely a fraudulent attempt and just hypnotizing you for money.

Of course ignoring is the best way instead of wasting time talking to scammers, but some people or new users will be very curious about the offer.

I'm surprised to hear people still fall for this kind of shit. Moreover, Telegram is even the worst place to allow any stranger to dive into your inbox, promise you an offer that could make you rich and you go about believing it. They are all scammers, and most importantly, never send your login details to anybody you don't know physically, or click any link sent by an unknown user, because that may be a means to giving the stranger access to hacking your account. So please, let's all try to be security conscious.

One of the most effective way of not falling for this sort of scam is keep you private telegram or social media safe and not mixed with your work version and also be less greedy .

Most people that fall for all this scam are newbies, I don't believe a professional that have been in crypto space for long term will fall for this scam, why will someone you don't know share you their private key and you will also believe and import it on your device. It's kind of annoying, how will someone you don't know share you their private key and they will want to share the money in the wallet with you, someone you don't know and you didn't do anything for the person. Seriously this scam format is very cheat but people still fall for it that's why we just have to keep on adviceing newbies joining the crypto space about different scam format.

Only greedy people fall for such tricks. Those aren't new tricks anyway. Why will anyone want to reap where they didn't sow? The first time I saw that in one of the numerous telegram groups I was subscribed to was in 2021. It didn't move me a bit even though it was my first experience with such. The reason being that I've a mindset that nothing is ever free, both online and off it. There's always a catch. I always want to find out what the catch is. I was proved right a few weeks after that when someone complained of how they were duped through that method. Don't expect a philanthropist in this industry. They don't exist.
True. Only those people who have high desires for money will eventually fall for this because even if they know it would be impossible, but they would still try out everything wishing they would be lucky enough. Wishing there’s always free and there are shortcuts for them to get rich, and that’s how they starting falling on scams. However, if they have rich mindset and would work first before they focus on greed, maybe there are chances that they will still succeed and get rich in the future.
I think even the new comers to the crypto world can be trick not only greedy people, sometimes your  curiousity can get the most of you and if you are careful enough before you know it you have fallen to these scams. But for the old and well exposed people in the crypto space, i think its only their greed of money that can lead them to finding out what is fully behind the huge money proposed in these scams, to see if they can actually claim it and get rich all of sudden.

It is safer to ignore all of these strangers who send links and other things. Already we are already 2023 and these direct strategies for committing fraud are not giving up. More people are beginning to understand these online modus operations. In order to gain the trust of their intended victim, some con artists will first attempt to speak casually. However, it is also carefully observing and waiting for the right moment to strike.
Just avoid all of them, and your funds will never be in danger. Because let’s admit it, scammers/ fraudsters are only here for our money so we should always be mindful of our finances. Otherwise, they will start to attack us once they see us as weak and easily taken advantage, that will make them pursue their bad plans for us and eventually we fall as their victims.

Greed is the reason people fall for these kinds of scams. It's not ignorance. If they don't have ulterior motives too then they won't even pay attention to messages like that. How does a stranger just decide to give you, a total stranger his login information for you to manage? How do people think? Nothing comes for free in this life. You should be skeptical of anything that is free. There's nothing free in this life ffs.

Rule 1: As a of the internet, always as assume that everyone is out to scam you. Check, crosscheck and triple check. If it is too good to be true, run.
Rule 2: If you think you are above being scammed, you will be scammed. You let your guard down for a split second because you think you cannot be scammed, you lose.

Unfortunately there will always be victims and people who are totally new to cryptocurrency, that is why people will keep falling for this. There will always be people who are greedy and will remain gullible to these schemes, people who are too religious and believe that they will miraculously provided for, and so see these opportunities as miracles of provision about to happen. Sadly, I can even tell you that there are those that still have no idea about this scam strategy.

Don't trust people especially the ones you meet online.

I don't believe that it's only being greedy while being unaware of the danger. I was also almost scammed through a Discord group when I was promised a higher yield on a smart contact. It wasn't greed, but being completely unaware of the dangers and being fooled by someone posing as a group administrator.
Well, whichever way you choose to coat it and make it not sound like it's greed I don't want to argue what is obvious with you. Let me ask you, if the yield promised weren't high would you've been interested? No? You see, that's the point. Many people get easily hooked once they see the ROI, experience or not doesn't matter to anyone who is greedy. They tend to think that the next trap could be different, not knowing that they're all the same.

There are 2 kinds of people who will fall into this kind of trap. The newbie ones and the greedy ones.

Newbie is understandable because they don't know what they are doing in crypto. The problem with them though is that, most of the newbies are invest first before learning which is wrong. I included greedy ones because I guess they're the ones who will fall into this kind of trap because they think that they will get money for free and knowing that it's a huge amount, they really will fall.

I'd bundle both kinds of people into one single category. Even if you're new to crypto, if would take a good amount of greed to think "this makes sense" and go through with the offer.
