WA, I’ll bring up this question again because it really interests me what your view is here.
Do you believe it is foolish to take profits in BTC rather than USD? In other words, to view the bitcoins as the money and dollars the asset? Does it even matter as long as you stick to one strategy over the long run?
I will always consider dollars as the safer of the two when it comes to short-term trading with bitcoin, and therefore, profit taking in USD is preferred. Bitcoin has not yet proven itself to be anything other than an idea which would definitely put it in the category of an asset.
Instead of thinking of bitcoin in these terms, you must decide whether or not you are a long-term investor or a short-term trader; there is a big difference. If you are an investor, I would always keep a sizable portion of your speculative funds in bitcoin if you are unsure of direction. If you are a trader, I would always keep a sizable portion of your speculative funds in dollars if you are unsure of direction.

Create a gmail account for just this subscription service? Sure, privacy isn't a really high priority for them, but then again, I don't think it matters for this service
