What do you guys mean by a trap exactly? I'm not that familiar with all this lingo.

A trap is a small reversal trend just to catch the guys who are going long, if it's a bull trap, or to catch the guys going short, if it's a bear trap.

They think that the main trend changed but a few days later they are smashed by the main trend and must get out of the position.
