At first, you can't seize every opportunity that with big profits, you are only human, not computer, you need enough time to sleep.
Second, if you wanna do the short-term trades, i suggest you payjing attention to the various public accounts of relating to the coins you are interested in, when good news be published, investing it quickly and selling it when its price steady. It dont need take much of your time, what you need to do is do your job, waiting that good news comes, just let it be.

Worried about missing out on valuable moments to profit from short-term trades in easily-pumped altcoins.
Many people say short-term trading is too time-consuming, and it turns out to be true
How to deal with a situation like this, can you guys give me suggestions and input?

trading with the short-term method really depends on the market conditions in my opinion. if the market conditions are experiencing a correction it really needs energy and thoughts to continue to monitor market movements. but if the market is stable, I think we can only set the time limit.
It is very tiring, of course, if we continue to monitor market movements,
but in any case, if the market conditions are like that, of course, we inevitably have to do that,
if we don't really understand reading market movements it is also quite troublesome, of course, so we need to learn

Place some trading "net" on your target buy and target sell. You don't have to watch the market all the time. At first you have to analyze and determine where you wanna buy and when you wanna sell. You cannot sleep probably because you are using your saving money to invest in crypto. As many people said "just invest free money in cryptocurrency", i think if you have done this your sleep schedule won't be ruined

Take this scenario as an example:

You buy Bitcoin and you forget about it in 2016. In 2020 you realize because of the boom you got this frickin wallet somewhere and now your Bitcoin are worth millions. Accidentally you turned into a long-term trader, lucky you!

You buy Bitcoin and sit in front of your desk all the time, watching your screen. You trade every green candle, if you can. Try to avoid the red ones, back and forth, all day long. You'll be worse off.

I can tell you I sometimes wish I fell into coma right after I bought my first huge bag of Bitcoin years ago, years ago! Wish I woke up these days again! Tongue
Short-term trading destroys the opportunities for long-term gains.

It's a time consuming activity for sure and there is no guarantee for making a nice profit also. If you have spare time to be able to allocate for this, then you can go on and see if it is logical to do for you.

I believe we all had a season when worrying about missing out or losses in the market was the order of the day, but a time comes when you have a perfect understanding of the market and the risks involved, so investing is done with the right mindset.

Try not to think about this stuff all the time or otherwise you will get crazy and burnt out pretty soon. The crypto space is full of opportunities where some people managed to make a huge amount of money within days but that only happens to few people in here and at least the same amount loses that money when they buy into hyped projects like all those meme-coins that are currently emergin a few days to late. So yes it always hurts when you read that someone made 100k USD out of 10 USD because he was an early investor into shiba-inu or safemoon or just like that, but you will get used to it and won't care about that anymore after a certain time.

If I were you, what I will do is I will halt any kind of pondering I have with crypto and trading and money making because I would be honest at this point, I believe that if you have an opportunity it will come at a later time and a great time. You think about profits and profits and you will miss everything that is more important like family and friends. Do what is right, seek advise so to guide you more in proper trading and let your knowledge help you in achieving your goals for a good profit.

especially when the market is dumping, I always think about how much my portfolio will be worth the next morning, it's natural because everyone will panic when the pump / dump happens quickly.
Yes, I feel that but we also need to realize that market will return to it's previous situation, bullish market will get back after a week of possible correction and some reset. Holders are selling their coin and start to buy when the price goes dip. Panic is always there, FOMO that we need to control our emotion. Some people think that it's very easy to get profit in crypto which is very wrong, it takes time and hard work learning about how cryptocurrency works and how to deal with different way to earn money. It's simple rule in investment but a lot of people cannot understand, invest your money wisely.

It was an unhealthy practice, you are stressing your life just to think about money. Many people had died because of stress and they even forget how to take care of themselves and while they are busy thinking and worried for the incoming, that is the time also that they started to kill themself.
I would suggest for you to take some rest, we can't think wisely if we are under stress. Have some room also to calm ourselves and that only it happen when we stop looking and checking the market price everyday.
I agree, it also doesn't help neither because you can stress about it as much as you want and in the end if you are going to miss those chances you will. My story is that I got into crypto in 2013 and I have been around ever since that day.

If I kept every single bitcoin I owned, I would be one of the wealthiest person I personally know (obviously not in the world, just people around me) and yet I didn't, do I lose sleep over it? I do not even think about it. Why? Well, simply because being upset about it wouldn't bring that money back, why would I care "what could have been" when I could simply just focus on the future and try to make money? What would I earned if I keep wake at night and consider what would be a terrible situation and what not? This is why I personally do not care about missing chances, I only care about the ones I take and how they are doing.

Short term trading is time consuming and tasking based on the period you will have to analyze trades and sitting down to monitor trades after a placing a trade, my own trading strategy I utilized 1 hour timeframe which means that I need to monitor prices in the close of every hour however I am trying to tweak it using 4 hour timeframe  because an hour short-term  trading had really affected other other personal activities and house chores.

the essence of this problem may be about patience, for those who have a great desire, definitely do it with patience and don't get used to making decisions too quickly to take assets that we think really have a good step..

that is the consequence of picking easy pump coins because you need to monitor them closely and theres no second chance if you miss their pump but if you pick coins that are not created for easy pumps only ,
you will have your peace of mind because if they pump they dont easily go down and if you miss the pump you will have more chances next time .
extra tips for sleeps is dont think of your trades the moment your going to rest at night but leave them all in the morning because they can interfere your sleep .
This is an interesting point, with more established cryptocurrencies you can trade and still have a good night of sleep because even if we know those coins can pump we know their movements are not as extreme, but in the case of new coins we know those coins can pump at any minute and if you happen to be sleeping when that happens not only you are going to miss the pump but if you try to enter later you could become part of dump instead, and that is something no one wants for themselves and their capital.

Well, the main thing I can say is that, since you are a short-term trader, trade with a stablecoin paired trades like ETH/USDT. And before going to sleep, be sure to have sold everything into USDT and try your luck again tomorrow when you wake up. That way, you'll be confident enough that your fund won't dump (and won't pump) during your deep sleep.
l think it happens to people who prefer short term investing, that is why you always think about the price of the project which you have invested in and it is making really hard the life, but as you said if we try converting our money to USDT, we can sleep very well, but it is something different about long term investing, you should not take care about that. If you have such a problem, l advise preferring long term investing. On the other hand, you can not sleep cause of thinking about your money.

basically day trading takes a short period of time, to maximize profits we must stand by monitoring daily price movements. the profit target is also not too large as long as it can continue every day or week. if you are not comfortable with it then change your trading strategy. Don't force it if it's not in accordance with your passion, you will just continue to feel uncomfortable, unable to enjoy the moment.

Everything has a price and staying awake is one of the price you pay to make profit in the space for now, there come a time where the market will be dragging and will be difficult to make money. Try to look at how the market behaves, especially when Asians start entering the market because they are the one that dictate the pace of the market most of the time

One thing that needs to be done in a long-term investment is, own the coins, and forget about them for a while. Checking prices every time will not help you get excited, it can even cause FUD in you. try to keep yourself busy with other things if you plan to hold back in the long run. however, if it is for the short term, then you need to target a specific price and check the price at all times.
Updating the coin price at any time will change the decision for long-term investing, if you have other activities such as bounty hunters or investors for whitelisting it will help you not to be influenced by fluactive movements, for long-term investing you will get big profit compared to short term, aim for profit below +20%.

What if you would lose by short time trading? what if you would buy at top and sold at bottom and halved your wealth in few days time? Would you continue it and lose 70% in a week?  How you would felt then thinking, maybe I should listen people and not day trade.  Actually everyone should try day trade. That is best way to learn that it dot work.

That is the reason why I trade short-term, the main goal is to be able to profit from the coins I trade, on the other hand by doing short-term trades I can test my patience and try to be more careful in deciding what to do in order to minimize the risk of losing
