So, does anyone actually unironically believe CSW is Satoshi? Clearly I'm Satoshi.
No, he isn't Satoshi. I am Satoshi who is the founder of this forum and bitcoin. CW is not Satoshi, even hos actions are really obvious that his only proclaiming the name of Satoshi. Try to identify here on the forum who is Satoshi and choose a member here as an example of Satoshi. Satoshi Nakamoto (Daboy_Lyle) The user that has an access on the early block created is likely a friend of Satoshi.
You can't sign a message using the early block addresses unless you have effectively full access to those early bitcoins.
i.e. you can spend them.

You can ONLY sign a message if you have the private key ... which also means you can spend those bitcoins.

The address I listed is the first mined block - which clearly WOULD be 'satoshi'

Do you give other people full access to your Bitcoin wallet?
Of course not.
i.e. satoshi's 'friends' would not be able to sign messages with the first block address.

Though, of course, 'satoshi' is very unlikely to be only one person ...

Edit: aside, CW claimed he had the keys for block #1 and #9 ... and that he did sign a message with them - but it was faked.
So really it only required him to do what he claimed he could do to prove it.

Sigh - and yet it is EXTREEMLY easy for any of the real 'Satoshis' to actually prove they are.

Sign a message with any of the addresses used in the early blocks.
We know that 'Satoshi' generated a lot of those early blocks, so e.g. a message signed by the address 12c6DSiU4Rq3P4ZxziKxzrL5LmMBrzjrJX used in block 1 could only be someone who has access to the wallet that has those early coins in it.

It is blatantly simple and can not be faked.

Yet I don't see that scammer Craig doing it ...

Indeed kano!

... snip ...

It is however increasingly amusing to watch BSV proponents assert that 'Bitcoin BSV' is the original Bitcoin - when historical reference sources from all over the internet prove otherwise, along with the timestamps in the original Bitcoin (BTC) blockchain.

CSW could (supposedly) make all of this nonsense 'go away', by simply signing some original Satoshi mined blocks, considering that he still claims to be 'Satoshi', however he still hasn't done this.

You should all be asking CSW to fully prove (unequivocally / without doubt) ... that he is 'Satoshi' ... otherwise everything is completely baseless. It is way past that time already. To date CSW has only ever provided false proofs. More evidence is mounting in this regard.

Again, ....

I trust that you all understand Preposition and Supposition. Lawyers do.

The Article and the Software is really funny to claim I am Satoshi, but why i dont know everyone wants to be claiming about being Satoshi, when bitcoin is running good without its creator and more over it is good that no one knows about the creator as it will create panic in the market if anyone clearly claims the private keys of the wallets holded by satoshi as if he moved the coin in the market and sell off then anything can happen to bitcoin world.

It is always good that some things should be always in undercover which is good for it.

it's true that bitcoin is a very good idea, and by using bitcoin we can transfer anywhere as long as there are still internet devices and networks.

Hahaha troll
The author is a natural joker and a prankster. This maybe used to scam anyone tho. Esp. Newbies

The article says,

Quote
“With everyone seemingly trying to prove they are Satoshi (looking at you Craig Wright and “faketoshi twitter”), we’ve decided to make it easier for other people to make similar claims.

So it is indeed a prank but it doesn't have a technical significance to scam anyone, not even newbies! It is created just for fun because the owner of Albacore also believes that Craig is not Satoshi!

Even if satoshi's forum account suddenly woke up, I'm sure it's going to be met with scathing suspicion.
It won't, because it has been locked by theymos:

When will we see Satoshi's account being used soon?

You won't, since I locked his account long ago. The password hashes leaked in 2015 aren't even his original hashes.

Woah, I didn't know this. Kudos to theymos for potentially saving us from a shitton of drama lol. It's crazy how one person's identity can create this much fuss.

I think it's almost impossible to find out who Satoshi really is and even if the real Satoshi would reveal himself people would still not belive him. Until the real Satoshi will reveal and bring proofs for that a lot more people will claim they are Satoshi because this is an easy way to attract more followers to you, even though you will get a bad raputation for doing that.

That Craig Wright personality is just actually using the situation to create a good name for himself and I guess he is already making some money with it.

It's the only way for him to remain relevant. If he stops pretending to be Satoshi, there is nothing left about him that's interesting to follow or cover when it comes to news outlets. He's a nobody that needs to hire developers to code for him and rent hashrate to mine with.

This tough keyboard gangster contacted miners if they would be willing to rent hashrate to him, which he obviously can't keep up for long. It was just a matter of time he gave up on the 'hash war' he started, and when you take the checkpoints they implemented in consideration, this whole 'hash war' was an ego battle all the way through.

The topic of disclosure of information about who is actually such Satoshi Nakamoto is increasingly interesting and recently many important people are trying to attract attention with the statement that they are the founders of Bitcoin.
But who would not say that I am 100% sure His name Satoshi Nakamoto would not open for anyone, not ever, and people calling themselves Satoshi will be more.
Tell me if people lived 10 years in secret with a banana today, he'll announce that he's the one who created this market.

This can actually be a good joke. While the real Satoshi had decided and chosen to remain anonymous for reasons he only could fully explain, there have been many people who are claiming that they are the real ones. By their very action of exposing themselves we can easily see that they are fakes. And now, everybody can be Satoshi meaning that we already know that anybody claiming to be Satoshi is just another joker. That Craig Wright personality is just actually using the situation to create a good name for himself and I guess he is already making some money with it.

You won't, since I locked his account long ago. The password hashes leaked in 2015 aren't even his original hashes.

Even if someone did manage to properly sign a message from the genesis block, that still wouldn't be enough proof that they were Satoshi in my opinion. It is entirely within the realms of possibility that someone other than Satoshi had access to some of the initial private keys, intentionally or otherwise. Identity is far more than the possession of a forum account or private keys.

This is really great! Perhaps they could make a version for signing block 1 as well as block 0, you know, just to provide a double proof ?

Everybody can claim that they are Satoshi but no one can ever be Satoshi except himself.

To those people who claim that they are Satoshi Nakamoto especially Craig Wright just simply log on the 'satoshi' account here then no question ask, you are the legendary founder of Bitcoin.

I don't think that it will make people here got to believe that Craig Wright is the real Satoshi. It needs more than just log on the "Satoshi" account, and the real Satoshi will explain more details about bitcoin and the blockchain technology.

I am sure that if he does that, many will ask with thousand questions and the government will search where he lives and perhaps, the government will kidnap Satoshi to be asked about many things.

But I got a feeling, someday Satoshi will show himself but not in public and will explain some important things related to cryptocurrency, and it will answer a big question that happens in around us. But I don't know what the question is, I only guessing lol  Grin
