Ok, I am going to lock this topic now, because some people are just too lazy to read. I have re-visited the thread and I announced that it was just a April Fools joke. A lot of people ignored the content of the thread and just read the heading and commented on that. Angry

To prevent this from becoming a sig spammers paradise and also to prevent people from spreading wrong information, because they were too lazy to read, I will now lock this topic.

I tried to visit the link you provided here but it shows page not found. I do not know that why the page show like that. By the way if amazon has started to accept bitcoin then it is really much appreciated as it will support the bitcoin community to provide them a most convenient way to buy and sell any thing with bitcoin. There are many people who were waiting for some bigger shopping sites like amazon to accept bitcoin as they like to use bitcoin directly for to shop their daily needs. It will also help the demand of bitcoin to boost up to the moon.

You still did not get the point. This was April Fool Joke. Even if the OP has mentioned that it is April fool joke, a lot of members will fall for this and comment how this decision will help bitcoins.

We certainly do not want such clueless people to invest in bitcoins. They do not have the time to even verify a major news related o bitcoin, how can we expect them to make sensible decisions related to their bitcoin investments.

This fools joke will not help bitcoin's price to grow, but this will help a lot to the people around btc like investors,bounty managers,signature campaigners and moderators, at least we have one day break of discussing serious topic and after this day we have to laugh each one of us.
