guess who's back
hey , same same same , thats exactly what happened with me , i contacted them before i open my account and they said yes you can trade , then the blocked access
and my account still closed , what the plan ? we need to do something !!!!

hey , I'm sorry for that mate but sadly nothing changed at all and some people are still using bittrex even it's a proven scam
some of the trusted members here left negative feedback on bittrex related accounts
it's been over two months now and still none of the Syrian people I know got their money , it seems that even the community here forgot about this huge scam

not sure what you can exactly do , try seeing other people threads here cause many still having the same issue and maybe you can organize a legal action

"  Statement on disabled accounts

We would like to address recent reports regarding Bittrex account suspensions.

We occasionally conduct compliance reviews and are working vigilantly to protect our service and our users from harm. As part of a compliance review, we have temporarily suspended certain accounts pending the completion of the review. The total number of suspended, closed, or banned accounts is very limited: less than 0.1% of the total accounts on Bittrex.  More than 99.9% of Bittrex accounts are unaffected.

Any reports that Bittrex miscalculated or misapplied its exchange fees, that there is a security problem with the exchange, that Bittrex lost any coins stored on users’ behalf, or that Bittrex is banning people trying to access Slack to discuss the status of their accounts are incorrect.  We are committed to making Bittrex a strong, safe, and compliant exchange where people can securely participate in the digital currency economy.  We ask for patience from our highly valued customers.  As for us, we plan to “keep calm, and carry on.”

 "

They seem to be making excuses meaningless. No comment about the real reason that led them to close the accounts of some members belonging to some countries

observing the current US government it is possible that bittrex is under pressure from the US government.

thanks for the quote mate , I didn't know that they even said anything regarding this issue even they haven't said why they are doing this
they blocked the Syrian IPs from even seeing the front page of the site or see the news , this can be solved by a VPN though

but as I said on May poloniex did the very same thing to me and I had money that time at poloniex , right after I got my money ( which took over two months ) I contacted bittrex and asked them if they accept Syrians since they are US based they said it's ok for Syrians to join

the laws of the US regarding accepting some countries haven't changed at all , it's their fault that they allowed these countries in the first place
people from banned countries have all the right to spread their experiences and tell others how this exchange is treating them , cause they can't do anything legally against a US based site except harming the site repu

as I said it took me over two months last time to receive my money from polo , that's crazy time to handle a withdrawal and we all know how the crypto space is moving

frozen money is dead money basically , I could had made a decent percentage investing that money in a gambling site for example

The issue is not blocking ips or access denied, this action due to something related to "Unknown Reasons". Bitterx got many requests according to Disabled accounts without any single notification, and that itself - unacceptable here - and then found that way to reduce or limited some accounts. But the main issue is : who's behind that? What's that "Unknown Reasons".
@Richie one of the bitterx cow founder said :  October 28

"Every account got a response.  Accounts are under review, we will contact you when there is a material change."

What does he mean by "Maerial change"?. I have enhanced account and get approved and they replay to my request after 17 days and said " your account seem ok, try to access again and replay to same ticket" But surely not OK! And after that some guy in support said "I forwarded to other department because it related to OFAC match".
Now, what's Bitterx want from us? Really I don't know but I want to get my funds outside and later on I have a more time to waiting resolve "Unknown Reasons".

Possibly operating fractional exchange, thats why they are locking some accounts to get some "bonus" funds. Will run soon!

IDK man the way they are acting is super shady , they used to accept all countries I even asked them about that before joining
so either bittrex is being run by complete fools who don't know what are the laws of the US or Bittrex is trying their hard to scam some money or at least freeze this money for some time

as I said luckily I didn't lose a satoshi there , but what they are doing is completely unacceptable

guess who's back
so we all know how bittrex started disabling accounts 3 weeks ago , they didn't allow their users to withdraw their money out of the blue
they forced the members of some countries to send them their IDs in order to get their accounts back , and most of the members did what bittrex asked for

now I tried to open bittrex and found out that they blocked all the Syrian IPs
https://prnt.sc/h4rqmd

now luckily I didn't lose money in bittrex but I know many Syrians who did lost money and I will try to bring them here to this thread
the scammers are trying to hide behind the US rules , while I did ask them 3 months ago if it's ok for Syrians to join and here is their answer

https://prnt.sc/h0wocq

the rules of the US regarding Syria has been the same in the last couple of years , but somehow they decided to ban Syrians this month also they forced the members to send their IDs
so the Syrian traders lost their anonymity without even getting good results

I had a similar problem in the past with poloniex and it got solved after waiting for over 2 months

I'm really hoping that the community here will help with the issue , you all know what's going on Syria and Bittrex is killing many dreams
will try to bring the members who lost funds in bittrex here and as I said hope that the community will help
