I wouldn't suggest using Nerdminer for anything serious unless you want to have some fun and experiment how bitcoin mining works.
You probably won't be able to earn anything nowadays unless you have bitcoin asic miner.
Nerdminer would be great to have 10 to 15 years ago Wink

I have heard of some "toys" that are promoted as home heating devices rather than mining devices, so I look at all this from the perspective of more fun and curiosity than the expectation of profit.

By the way, @fillippone started a topic about NerdMiner a little more than 1 year ago, I'm sure that a lot of useful information can be found there.

I have come to understand the comparative difference between being a Bitcoin capitalist and just being a Bitcoin trader or investor doing DCA plan for the next couple of years.

What exactly do you mean by Bitcoin capitalist?

Somehow, I stumbled upon this wonderful innovation am about to share, that if one could lay their hands on, would make them become a mini Bitcoin capitalist and that means they can mine their own bitcoins from their homes with just a plug in to the computer device that has access to the Internet.

I find it really fascinating as Bitcoin has come in various ways and is making opportunities possible for anyone to achieve their investment plans just anyhow they choose to go about it.

You can now mine your Bitcoin at home with a Nerminer2.

Your opinion is welcomed!

I tried looking at the specification, but it only produce 70 KH/s. It's far lower than most USB miner such as Compac F which have 300+ GH/s[2]. It's fine if you buy it for hobby purpose, but don't expect to mine any block.

Easy as that? Hey let's just say there maybe some technical techniques involved on this Nerd mining bitcoin capitalists because it's uncompromising to just believe all that seen in the media that it's so easy like that.
However, the bitcoin investors and traders are still on the good tracks of acquiring and earning their bitcoins because every enthusiasts must not be miners nor whale accumulators.

Considering the size of the said nerdminer to the pen next to it I was wondering what really could possibly make anyone think that this was gonna have any good chance of competing to find a block.
https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/15o6kdb/nerd_miner_review_i_bought_a_btc_lottery_miner/?rdt=54373 Except anyone wanna get this for educational purpose for their kids on how bitcoin mining works or it's all about and not for profit aim. From what I've read about these miners the chances of mining a block is like forever impossible.

Don't you think that there might be a possibility that these are just initial developmental designs, which poses to check how such a technology might perform if much attention and resources is allocated to more research and improvement and development of it?

Am sure the future of crypto currency promises more innovations in this regards and we might witness a time when such kind of a mini device can actually mine Bitcoin,  and be as efficiently rewarding as it could possibly be.
I don't dispute that possibility, I mean there have been many technological innovations which started this way, so therefore, with more research effort in the discovery of solutions to it's current limitations we can have that working as every other ASIC miner but for now let face the reality that the possibility of it getting a block reward is extremely minuscule.

Not your keys, not your coins!
Good luck with Nerd Miner and wish you the best with this mining lottery ticket.

Not sure you got enough guides to start your mining with Nerdminer, but there is a guide on it: NERDMINER: Bitcoin lottery miners

These super luck stories from solo miners will give you more reasons to continue with this funny solo mining lottery.

So this is the mini miner I have been hearing about some folks talking about it on X. I don't think you can catch a block with that miner. It just looks too good to be true. As far as I know m there is no cheap and easy way to get the resources to mine Bitcoin. Mining Bitcoin is very expensive so I don't think any tool worth below $100 can be capable of mining Bitcoin. It will take a longer period to get any available block to mine among other successful miners out there.

The Nerdminer2 is indeed more of an educational tool rather than a profitable mining device. Its primary purpose is to give users a hands-on experience with Bitcoin mining, allowing them to understand the process without the significant investment typically required for more powerful mining rigs. The chances of actually mining a block with such a device are extremely low, akin to winning a lottery.

However, your point about this being an initial developmental design is valid. As technology advances and more resources are allocated to research and development, we might see more efficient and powerful mini mining devices in the future. The world of cryptocurrency is constantly evolving, and innovations like these could pave the way for more accessible and decentralized mining solutions.

It’s exciting to think about the possibilities and how they might shape the future of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll have mini devices that can mine Bitcoin efficiently and rewardingly!

Resources?

What resources, lol?
Even GPU's that no longer mine Bitcoin can't fit in a small thumb drive like device, and you still think a complete Bitcoin miner can?

Let's be honest, if those devices could actually mine Bitcoin like ASICs, don't you think they would be so popular by now?

Nerd miners are for tinkering, for fun end education overall. If you want to acquire capital you will need some form of value being offered.

Maybe you are already wealthy in the form of owning land or property which can be utilized for earning income. Or you can offer your labour to earn income... This way you can spend your earned capital and keep buying Bitcoin. Or if you really want to be a capitalist, be born again to rich parents and inherit stock on companies that produce wealth by profiting on other people's labour.

Happy cspitalisming.

For anyone's information, Trying to earn by running nerd miners will never pay you back more than these things cost because their hashrste is so low that they're effectively useless at mining tangible amounts of BTC.

Good luck with that.

FYI, you have 1000x better chance of winning a lottery than finding a block with so called miniminer.

It's not really going to mine coins, it's just a gadget for someone who wants to experience the mining of Bitcoin but doesn't have the capital to buy ASICs.

And I can even that their official website says this

Mining with the NerdMiner is considered a really difficult thing, It is considered a very unlikely task, because its mining power is so small that the chances of finding the block before another miner are extremely low. This product on its current state must be considered more a gadget than a miner.
