2018 is a bad moment because the price of Bitcoin drops more than 50% compared to ATH in December 2017 which reached $ 19K, at that time I sold all Bitcoin and left Crypto until the end of 2021 because I saw the market skyrocketing again, of course the current conditions were different from 2018 because currently more and more countries legalize Bitcoin.
Yes, if you compare the conditions between 2018 and this year, it is clearly different,
indeed Bitcoin is currently going down but I believe it is only a matter of time to see it can go up again,
in 2018 I think some people panicked and sold their assets because the conditions were really bad

I remember once so many people were yelling about bitcoin was death but it's still alive even in a higher rate right now. Think about once bitcoin did it and is not it possible for bitcoin to do that again?
2018 was a very difficult time for the crypto market. Anyone is hoping that we will be leaving from this situation very soon but it seems global economic was not supporting it to happen.
So many prediction about bitcoin will be plunged even harder than before. This time it's going down again and again. Will we wait at least 2 years from now to see another bullish trend?

It's just a short term bear I think, the bitcoin will just go up again, however the $30,000 seems possible. And MMCrypto is not just a nonsense youtuber, he always has some good analytic towards the market. It's a bear market, but I don't think it will be as bad as 2019. Bitcoin is in its ideal price for buyers and seller over the last 4 months, so I don't think it will just surge. And I think this average price will last until next year.
It could be as bad as 2019 because BTC going down to 30,000 will cause panic to many holders who believe that it's never going to happen, also I trust whales more than the market itself why? They have the power to manipulate the market, till date I still believe that there is more to Covid 19 than what we actually knows, it's like it was intentional just to crash the while stock market.

I am a person who believes that history will repeat itself in the crypto market. Where we will experience a decline after touching ATH. But for how far the decline I do not know for sure, but I believe we will experience a decline from here. And I am sure that the timing will be the same as before, which happened in 2018-2019.

Of course a bear market is not a bad thing, it could be a bear market is an opportunity. There will be a lot of analysis work later to choose and buy coins such as BTC, BCH, BNB or other potential coins as future investments when the price drops.

In the world of cryptocurrencies no one can really guarantee it will happen or not. what I see from the large community right now they believe that bear market bears like 2018 only lasts once forever, but I believe cryptocurrencies always give surprises whatever it is, I may believe that it can happen again, but I think that means should be able to seize the moment to keep making a profit.
Everything always exists based on facts, data or history. History says they had the worst market in 2018 and people experiencing it definitely have a stronger mentality to survive in the market by carrying out their usual activities, but I think it also doesn't guarantee that with high confidence all that will not happen again, at least there are data such as indicators that must be shown not to assume at random, because it has no basis.

It seems we are already in a bear market but how far can this go? A year or two just like 2018-2019? Or this is a short term bear market? MMCrypto on youtube said that 30,000$ BTC is possible, if this do happens altcoins will bleed more than ever and this will unlock the beginning of the downfall of many altcoins.
I believe this bear market will not last long, its just temporary. Year 2018-2019 are different compared to the current situation because currently crypto is quite popular than before, more adoption happened and some popular personality/businesses are engaging themselves to crypto. Its true that if Bitcoin go down further, alts are affected because, as we know the price of Bitcoin influence the price of alts. However if you're holding a well-established altcoins you dont have to worry that much, it will certainly recover once the market turn up again.

maybe it will matter as people wanted to invest this time because they want to escape the inflation effect. if the prices are to emerge again by June as it's somehow always done, maybe the bear could just be temporary. the 2018 bear market started just right at the beginning of the year, this bear started last year in about November.

if you still hold your altcoin back in 2018, i think you will have no problem holding it still today.

may be longer if the world economic situation has not completely recovered. Inflation is very high and there are problems all over the world, this is another reason why bear markets can last longer. and as you said bitcoin reaching 30,000 is still very possible. So brace yourselves, I personally prefer holding stablecoins in the next few months.

No one knows where the market will go, but with the current unstable world economic situation, we are always ready if the bears continue to attack.
In a bear market holding stable coins is a very good plan and if I were you I will catch the bottom from this price. If the market continues to fall, there will be a lot of potential coins at cheap prices.

As for prices, the situation in the cryptocurrency market is often repeated. But we do not move in a circle, like the world as a whole, but in a spiral. This means that there are no absolute matches. A lot has changed since 2018, the market has become more mature, people have gained a lot of experience and now they don’t panic as much as before with large price swings. So far, nothing serious in the negative sense has happened on this market, so prices can rise at any time. This requires the desire of major players.

We expect to see more bear market in the future for cleansing of the shitcoins that hasn't been developing or updated their project so that people will focus on BTC and other top altcoins in the market. Right now we need to focus on when to buy the deepest price because we might have a one-time good time opportunity to invest and multiply our crypto assets here. We just need to choose the right project though, the right one that has some real plans in the future and they constantly releasing some real updates about its projects.

this is not even the time to hodl onto some altcoins because if bitcoins go lower many alts will bleed that they wont be able to recover again. am not glued to any project, once i see the chart is not looking good then i dump and wait to buy cheaper. there is a very possibility that 30k might be touched.
The reaction that occurs to bitcoin will greatly affect any altcoin, if the reaction is negative then it will also apply to Altcoins, usually we only interact with popular altcoins, because these coins can recover faster when bitcoin is back on a normal or green path, correction problem at the same time with bitcoin is not a problem, because of that each coin has its own time and way of reacting, even though it follows the hype in Bitcoin

I think the bear market will be not for long term. Because of Meeting on 5 May about inflation weay see little dump in Bitcoin to 34k $ but not for long term. Analysis show that Bitcoin are ready for long jump. We may see again 45k $ above may. It's all depend upon how market behave. Below chart of one influencers show that Bitcoin can pump soon.

We may see again above that level but for reaching new ATH I think it's not coming soon, This year I can only hope that I have a lot of funds to buy the dip since this year is the best opportunity to buy the dip and the next year we may see steady increase for cryptocurrency. Well, we don't know what will be coming this year and anything above that is only a prediction.

Yep, it is a bear market. BTC price has dropped from $68k to $37k, it has declined almost a half from its ATH, clearly a sign of a bearish period. Whether it will be the same as in 2018-2019, no one really knows about it. But I think the general situation won't be very different from 2018-2019, so we will experience this for two years 2022-2023. The question is how far the price of Bitcoin to drop? I have no idea to answer this, because Bitcoin price can be unpredictable, depends on varied factors to support it (including the world's issues).

Now that the market has started to go up and down so much, it is seen that there is a complete similarity with the market of 2018.Such fluctuations in Bitcoin terrify people. Many of us have invested in Bitcoin. Many people are saying a lot, you can see where to go.But the market will definitely get better soon.

Pretty similar like what happened in 2018 but in this case the different thing was just the rate of bitcoin which has not yet dropping drastically like 2018. Bitcoin has more backers but 30k was not inevitable.
Bitcoin is also breaking another monthly low again right now. So many predictions was not true to say that if bitcoin will bounce from 38k to go back to the above 40k again.
It seems we will have a long term journey again with the crypto market. I would like to see that happens soon. Another very low price for bitcoin.

this bear market gonna be a long ones, maybe it’s not gonna be like the past chart because there are various things that could greatly affect how the market gonna unfolds.
instead i’m just thinking that we gonna have some long bearish market and eventually see new light and the bullish market that’s not so great since we have kinda achieved so many ATH this year around.
after all the next bullrun takes time and I’m just thinking that this year around we have achieved some great things but it’s just so many of us always wants more basically wants new bullrun after bullrun to comes up.

I think the worst has already passed and the price will not go down much further than the current price, however I think the price could remain in a ranging state for months or even years, but at least that is better than the long crypto winter we had to suffer after the bull market of 2017 ended.

So if I were you I would not worry that much about a further decrease in the price and if it occurred it should be seen as an opportunity to get some cheap bitcoin and get ready for the next bull run, however even if I think this way a long ranging market would be terrible for new altcoins, so if you are invested in them you need to keep a close eye on them and sell them if the situation seems to deteriorate at an alarming rate during the next months.

It is expected that the cryptocurrency market will remain bearish in 2022 and 2023 and it will pump again in 2024 as in 2020-2021. This is not just my words, many big market analysis experts have expressed their such views.  ButBut I don't think the market will be as bad as it was in 2018.  On the other hand, I think the btc market will exceed one lakh in 2024.
