Alright folks... We're going to be opening up in 5 mins.

First off, thanks for the team and hired dev for coming up with a sound plan, keeping open communications with us and executing on it properly.  This could have been a lot more painful than it was.

[edit]
These funds are currently locked pending possible legal action however we cannot burn them for legal reasons.

Thanks,
Richie

Thank you Richie! Thanks for your help, thank you for your support! Thank you for Bittrex Exchange!

Aaaand...now Bittrex is open for trading! https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-IEC

Thank you for the awesome work everyone involved! really nice to see this coin is moving again and we can resume trading. Its really good the coins got locked, it shows in the price that is recovering well already. I hope everything goes smooth from here

Good work. Hopefully when the people who got the cheap coins in the dump have done selling and taking their profits the price should stabilize at a point which results in it being profitable to mine.

It could be that those coins were already sold. Dont quote me on this but i think Bittrex does not keep the coins in the same wallets you send them to. Meaning once trades are done etc, they might send them to a single address even if the belong to several users.

We asked our question again today, we have not yet received a response. Now we are waiting for the launch.

I have asked this already but not received a response yet.

Will the 1.4 million coins in hackers Bittrex wallet be destroyed or awaiting dumping?

These coins belong to another user. Probably, We can not destroy these coins, Yes! But we must live with it....

I would say it is imperative that Bittrex remove that account and destroy those coins. I would of thought this to be at the top of dev's priorities to be honest.

Yeah, it should, because we dont want to see the price falls hard when the hacker dump those coins.. Your hard work gonna be destroyed by hacker Dev

We fully understand this! That is why Bittrex will be open with a delay, unlike other services! Wink

I saw your question! We are still waiting for a response from Richie! If those damned coins still on Bittrex, than this is coins will be destroyed before the opening!  At least that is our greatest wish! Wink
Thank you. Bittrex should have it within their power to delete the account of the hacker as they can see the deposit on the block chain.

Above all, we must make sure that these coins belong to that bastard...
Well there were 5 million in the account at one point. No one apart from the hacker had access to that amount of coins so it should be easy to prove it.

In any case, I agree with you!

Have to agree, i hope they manage to destroy them before they are shoved into the market (because i am pretty sure they will if the hacker still has access to his account). It would mean some cheap coins but it would hurt the overall look of the coin for a longer period.
