All sounds good so far, but let's not depend too much on a billionaire. These billionaires will swing their mind depending on the ROI or their social presence. When are we going to learn not to give too much credits to a single person for an invention that running buy millions of people?

I don't think he will change his opinion suddenly like Musk since he is a genuine BTC supporter. It's great to see the LN receive some love in this manner.
In blockchain, we trust. Trusting a person is too old for us bitcoiners.

No surprise that Jack has spoken about this, he is very bullish on bitcoin.

He even travel to Africa as far as I can remember in 2019 to promote bitcoin as he has been building something on that continent for quite some time time. And remember that he is the CEO of Square (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square,_Inc.). Now it's time for LN to take centerstage.

This is really good news. As being Twitter's founder, Jack Dorsey can create a really good effect on people. "World currency" seems like a bit assertive phrase.  Grin  But this kind of statements can help Bitcoin really nicely.

Just as Elon Musk started to speak up at some point, got everyone hooked and then started to "musk" the Market, lol. Lets hope Jack Dorsey is not trying to follow in same pattern, because we are still in recovery from the musk effect.

The money Elon Musk made alone from BTC is enough to entice anyone who is his class to try and make his own profits if he/she sees a possibility that they can influence the market as well over time.

That's now something new and I'm not surprised to see Jack Dorsey speaking up positively about bitcoin. Doesn't matter if the market is bullish or bearish or the government release some negative fundamental news about bitcoin, Dorsey is smart enough to be a bitcoin billionaire. Since he is the CEO of twitter, you can see how twitter is contributing with crypto. Here but people and twitter are taking advantage, a win win plan. I can see a shiny future for twitter and Dorsey because they never try to escape from the new technology or suspend it but they accept it and try to work with it.

Jack Dorsey has supported BTC for sometime now as some of the posters above mentioned which is why this isn't anything surprising. Integrating the LN into Twitter or Blue sky is beneficial for the crypto market in the long-term.

I don't think he will change his opinion suddenly like Musk since he is a genuine BTC supporter. It's great to see the LN receive some love in this manner.

That guys is very popular when it comes cyrpto currency, now he's speaking up.. For sure he's against to those who keep spreading false information about bitcoin wherein despite of situation, actually this week seems there are some people right now sharing good news and adaption when it comes bitcoin.. So this is really a good news for everyone in my own opinion especially those who have been stuck for how many weeks because of massive decline and hopefully there are some good news that can lift up bitcoin after all..

He is yet another individual with "influence" that is trying to gain some popularity in the cryptocurrency space, similar to what Elon Musk did and then benefit from that popularity. He has already started with the new "hardware wallet" project that he'll be definitely selling to make money!
The only question that matter is if this guy is also going to pull a Musk on the market maybe with another shitcoin instead of Doge and whether people are going to follow...

I get that it ain't bad to be skeptical, but I really wouldn't put Jack Dorsey and Elon Musk in the same category. You're right about Elon, but Jack has been a Bitcoiner for a while now. He may or may not have the sort of "OG" status of some older Bitcoiners, but he didn't just suddenly appear out of no-where and started going at Bitcoin like Elon did.

Jack Dorsey is one of the popular people that are into Bitcoin.
It's become normal now that Jack Dorsey keeps promoting Bitcoin, he even went to Bitcoin Conference in Miami recently.

And in Twitter, you can see a lot of crypto people there compared to other social media, which extremely good social media that is not strict when it comes to cryptocurrency.

I totally agree with you, I've seen a LOT of Twitter; sub categories & Topics about BTC & crypto in general. Even the "who to follow" category will be filled with crypto related pages once you did a search on crypto...

It's good news. Twitter still is being used a lot. Maybe allowing crypto ads and advertisers to pay BTC.

He didn't consider a good time to announce this. It probably will show how influential he could be if he did this during the bull run. It would make people believe he has something to do with the market rising. The Influencial persons had already announced their support to BTC before Dorsey so it doesn't make a big difference anymore, it only looks like he is a follower.

Ain't anything new, really. Jack Dorsey has been a public advocate of Bitcoin for like years now.

Even hints at a social media platform (with no names) being the first to include Bitcoin as part of its platform.
Hmm. I wonder which social media site, Jack, a CEO of a social media platform, is referring to. 🤔

^Jokes aside, it could also be Bluesky. https://www.theverge.com/2021/1/21/22242718/twitter-bluesky-decentralized-social-media-team-project-update

In that article Jack Dorsey promotes Bitcoin as long-term world currency.  Even hints at a social media platform (with no names) being the first to include Bitcoin as part of its platform.
