Another altcion debt/credit card to be issued by a Janpanese company. All we need now is for Mastercard/Visa to start accepting altcoin and it will be the dawn of a new age !

"The new company, called SBI Wirex Asia, seeks to deliver a Japanese cryptocurrency payment card and further plans to develop other co-businesses in the field of cryptocurrencies, blockchain and payments."

Given the fact that the country officials recognized bitcoin as a up and coming and promising business option and a currency that can be trusted, then yes, it may very well become the leader in legal bitcoin trade. I don't wanna act prejudiced, but even if it liberalized as a country immensenly after the fall of communism in Europe and has alot of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies mining power, and as such is the current throne holder of the leader of cryptocurrencies, China in it's current form could potentially set the way for a stronghold of illegal bitcoin trades. If their threats of banning bitcoin are to be kept as a real option and not just a marketing stunt then Japan will probably take over the position as the cryptocurrency giant.

I think it can be said like that, Japan is the first country in Asia that legalized bitcoin, and since the legalisation there has been an increasing of transactions volume, Japan has set an example that bitcoin and fiat can be used together in a country, Japan has been giving so many positive things to bitcoin

I think Japan is the bitcoin ruler in the world after the Chinese bourse is closed.
Japan now dominates the bitcoin market in the world after overtaking China and America.
I think all countries should see japan as a good example, because they see the positive side and so many benefits of bitcoin.

I don't know as per stats of market cap...US seems to be the crypto-leader as max transaction in BTC take part in USD. On the other hand, Japan recognize BTC as a legal payment method and therefore Japanese don't have any fear while investing in BTC.

Japan officially recognized bitcoin as a method of payment, creator of Bitcoin is said to be possibly Japanese, and Japanese telecommunications company GMO announced its plans to invest $ 300 million in the first half of 2018 for Bitcoin mining,  I can see why Japan would be one of the leading countries in crypto.

Wow, if this really is legitimately factual, then this i think is the greatest news to have ever been shared. This will really take Bitcoin together with all of the other alternative crypto currencies out there. I can say that this will really make way for bigger demand and higher prices. I just wish that with this happening,  bitcoins does not suffer from the risk of getting manipulated by japan and dumoed. That would be really disastrous for bitcoin.

I've heard that bitcoins are best developed in the east. China or Japan are the current leaders in the coin, but I think that over time, Europe will also be able to match their strengths and strengths.

right now, i think we can say that japan is leading the innovation for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, since they are making a lot of new technology that fits for the use of cryptocurrencies, and their banks also supports bitcoin, i think right now, we still cannot say that japan is the leader in bitcoin, since we still have to check how much users and bitcoins they have. japan is advance in technology as we all know, i think people are saying that they are the leader in bitcoin, simply because japan wanted other countries to follow it footsteps, i have read an article weeks ago, that japan's goal is to have a paperless society and just use cryptocurrencies, and with that they are also promoting j-coin. when it comes to innovation we can count on the japanese, but when it comes to being a leader in bitcoin, i think we need to make a further study and look at it in different aspects.
according to my opinion japan is going to legalize bitcoin because they are going to start accept of bitcon in their banks and other place so due to this the bitcoin user automatically increases in japan and in through this way we can say that japan will become leader of bitcoin because japan is the first country who are taking such a big steps in crypto currency .

maybe japan now take the number position as big bitcoin market today and replace china and korea. i heard china wants to come back to the crypto currency world but i am not sure about news. if china and korea increase their volume trading bitcoin then i think this three country will be compete to raise more customer. japan, china, korea is a big country that supports new technology and i think with bitcoin in their hand, they can compete with other county.

I think in a way yes, Japan in all of the countries in the world have been the first to embrace technologies as part of their economy and culture. And there might be a case up for grabs regarding them being a leader but I think that Japan has the respurces and people neccessary for the claim
