Tell me what else I can post to proove he got his money. I used BTC-E. that was my mistake. I will be transferring to my local wallet first from now on.
Your mistake indeed. Which is why OP should chargeback, and let you deal with BTC-E for your "mistake".

To OP, dispute it thru PayPal first, if you do a chargeback before disputing it through paypal then you lose PayPal protection.  If JB isnt scamming, I'm sure he could post more than a snippet of a screenshot that could easily (probably) have been photoshopped.

Thanks, I was thinking about doing that but held off to see what Paypal does first.  Since, it's so little I'm not really concerned.

I ain't paying the kid .4 BTC for the price of .2. I'm sorry but I am not to be called the scammer here anymore

You haven't paid him anything yet, regardless of what the HTML says on BTC-e.

I can't. I sold all my stock of BTC to a friend through Skype. I'll contact BTC-E but that's all I can do ATM

You could try getting more coins through LocalBitcoins.com, no?

Ok guys. Im home now. Here is the screenie that should clear this all up.

There's something wrong with this screen shot. The green check Mark doesn't appear until the transaction is out on the block chain.

I guess this is what an attempt at insulation by third party looks like when someone is particularly clueless.

General PSA: if a service eschews use of the very tools that go into making Bitcoin powerful (say, tx ids), it's not a service, it's a disservice.

Sorry for your loss, OP. Get reading, get yourself in the WoT, don't get yourself at the point of others' mercy like this again.

I'll screenshot the btc-e transaction. that is all I can do. there is no TXID accessible when using BTC-E.

TBH man, that's between you and BTC-e. You could always send D05GTO .2 BTC in the meantime while you get things straightened out.

Okay.

There is no blockchain transaction of 0.2 BTC (Or any number near that amount) in the lifetime of that wallet address.

Now this is the part where you blame BTC-e.

I'm sorry if you didn't receive the BTC. they were sent to said address you PMed me. I don't recall saying anything about a hold.

And you still haven't posted a TXID anywhere.

I understand where the story you tossed out there about a 21 day hold on funds came from - eBay holds PayPal funds for 21 days for purchases. There is no reason that would apply here, as I'm almost positive that there is not a 21 day hold on funds sent as a Gift.

Just post the TXID and the matter will be cleared up, I'm sure.

You have got to be kidding.  It is very very simple.  Just show everyone where you sent .2btc
Here is the provided address and everything that has ever been sent to it.  Strange I don't see anything close to .2btc.  Just Slush pool and cryptsy payments from mining.

It was sent as a gift.  This was in another thread and his reply is what really threw a red flag to me.

Ok, guess I'll just file a dispute.  No sense in waiting for 21 days for your money.
