This could be what gets Biden impeached and removed from office.

Many on the left are mad that Biden has been unable to achieve most of his radical agenda. It would only take about a half-dozen Democrats in the House and 17 Democrat Senators in the Senate to Impeach and remove Biden if all Republicans vote in favor of each. I don't think it would be unreasonable for elected officials on the left to turn on Biden.

I remember Biden saying he'd pull troops out of Afghanistan by 2014, very naive of me to believe they meant all troops. Predictable result -- give up Afghanistan to the Taliban, US sends more troops out to handle terrorists, next President promises to bring troops home, brings them home, new vacuum forms and leadership is transferred to the next Islamic extremists. Rinse and repeat.

By this standard, Trump 'ended the U.S. occupation' about 5 times. But then those bad bad (((mooslims))) did something bad and we had to stay.

Anyway, (((they))) mostly use contractors for occupations now. Who cares if most of the mercenaries got training on my tax dollars, and cost $500,000/yr because, again, it's just put on the U.S. credit card to be paid off with my taxes in the future. Or more likely by exercising a claim against the collateral (my property) and enforcing it with Chinese troops.

I see Republicans starting to push for Biden to be tested for his mental competence, taking a note from Democrats and their treatment of Trump. I think this is a bit dangerous as it’s fairly clear the guy is not quite as mentally sharp as anyone being paid for a job should be. While many might think it would be funny to prove our president has mentally declined to the point he is unfit for office, I feel like it’s a dangerous position to be in as a county and I’m sort of hoping we can keep our heads down for a couple years without any major incidents and try to forget this happened.

Republicans we’re quoting BLM and left wing extremists when they say Democrats want to “defund the police”. As Gyfts noted, it was Democrats in cities that actually defunded the police. It was Democrats running for local elected office that ran on defunding the police and followed through.

The police is funded on a local level and the federal government contributes very little to police budgets. Opposing the “infrastructure” bill is about as close to defunding the police as being opposed to NK is to being opposed to democracy.

I've read deeply into it. It's a stupid idea. They want to take away funding to support social programs, similar to taking money, pouring gasoline on it, and lighting it on fire.

The US's greatest myth is that throwing money into some useless social program will solve your problems. As if it worked for the US education system. Not everything is a right wing conspiracy or misrepresentation. Since Saint Floyd tragically passed away, left wingers felt the need to go on a tirade against police. Sending mental health counselors or social workers to calls that police normally respond to fail to account the reason why police are even dispatched in the first place, for emergencies. You do not call the 911 to have a social worker sent out.

And not like democratic politicians would ever know this, but domestic violence and mental health calls are by far the most dangerous calls police dispatched to, they turn violent on a dime.
