Honestly, this guy is just a joke and trying to grab attention. If he said that the price of bitcoin would reach "$500,000 USD" and "he would eat his dick if it didn't" on purpose and as a preplan to grab peoples attention before promoting xmr, eth and dai, then yeah, I would say he is a genius and his plan worked out really good. Look at how much attention people are now giving this guy. You can see people discussing about him every now and then everywhere.

We all realize that it is impossible for John McAfee's prediction to come true, then there is also no way he will keep his promise if his
prediction is wrong.I think when John McAfee made these predictions just to fool the public into being interested in investing in bitcoin.

McAfee already gained a lot of popularity, and many people believe all the things he said because of he already a powerful man but still it is better if we don't rely on the man like this that does not have a word, instead it is better if we make an explore and prediction at our own because we know the truth and the possible outcome instead of getting dependent on the man just like predicting the market of the coin easily even we can do that at our own too.

Honestly, I almost believe this guy on 2017, I entered and was new at crypto that time but now I think this guy is a clown. Those influencers are not effective anymore and they are just telling things they want to, even if they have no basis at all. Now his promoting monero, etc. Maybe he is being paid for it or wants to be paid by it? Predicting is not bad, but if you made a wrong prediction and you are paid for it that is totally bad. If I am not mistaken this guy promoted some project and it went scam.

I have decided to ignore the opinion of that person. Sometimes the prediction is too excessive, like bullshit, sometimes it is not accompanied by fundamental analysis.
There must be a reason, whether he was paid for it, or to attract attention, I don't know. We should also be more selective in understanding this situation. Not all influencers really influence.

People won't listen his sick prediction. I think he has a mental issues or he is a two face sneak. Much better if people will call him "crypto dog". He suck that feet which project give him money to talk about their shit. Crypto is better without this kinda person. McAfee has already announced in another tweet that there he was just messing around when he said that.

At the time McAfee was shilling ICOs left, right and center, so he obviously did it to gain visibility and get the news sites talking--which they did.

In turn, that made him a more influential source of info, making his shilling business even more profitable.

Virtually everyone who was in this space in 2017 knows that McAfee is full of crap and his words are as irrelevant as the ico market itself. This was the same man that was shilling scam projects so far he got paid for his services. His first prediction about bitcoin price surpassing the 2017 ath validates the fact that he's no more relevant in this space and will tweet anything just to gemather some attention. I don't blame McAfee, i blame the people that are still gullible enough to give meanings to crapy tweets

If you want to be a successful trader or you want to know the next move of bitcoin, think opposite of what John McAfee predicts. Like if he says that bitcoin is dead, it surely means that there is a big pump coming in bitcoin price in near future. These guys always speak opposite to what actually they gonna do with bitcoin manipulation to fool the people and make money.

I really don't have to say anything about predictions specially people like McAfee, who never apologized the community for there wrong predictions made in the past. Rather they are coming again with new ideas and concepts. Bitcoin is the future and there is no doubt about that, the community must not get distracted because of such predictions. Just ignore them.

I don't believe to Ohn McAfee in his any prediction since before I saw that he predicted bitcoin value at very high price which is very impossible to happen. I do not why he doing that becaude he did not earn money by doing that or unless he want to become a popular to crypto world so that he do that. i don't think he anticipated for this unexpected pandemic that has taken a toll in the life of many, maybe the prediction would have come close to happening but with the recent virus outbreak things have changed, although, i really think his prediction was highly over exaggerated, but, we are just in quarter 2 of 2020 so you never know what surprises crypto has in store for the crypto community, the prediction is for at the end of 2020 he said so lets wait and see.

You just have to know that his predictions are stupid predictions. What would even make anyone that Bitcoin will reach up to $500,000 in this 2020? I can remember that he claimed that it was going to be in 2018 or 2019 and not even 2020.

But after it failed, he came out to claim that Bitcoin is fake and the worst cryptocurrency, because he used the same strategy that was used to predict 2017 bull run for his own prediction and it didn’t work. He’s not the only one that made such a wild speculation, there are also other influencers that came out to make these kind of dumb predictions.Some said that it’s going to reach $700,000 in 2018, but it never worked.
