Thank you all for your feedback.
We implemented the suggestions you left under this post.
Made a new post in the games and rounds part of the forum.
We got ourselves an escrow provider, changed the award to Bitcoin and purchased a copper account as you suggested.
To answer the survey and win the $40 BTC reward, visit our survey at: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/win-500-in-btc-answer-short-survey-closed-5483224

-   What you said, mate, is a very good reminder to the communities here in our forum so that those who just click a link will not regret it in the end. We don't think anything is bad, but we are just being careful because there are many phishing links that become a way for hackers to steal from those who fall into their traps.

I just hope that the OP did the same and gave a clear clarification of the points he was talking about. Maybe others will be dazzled or attracted by the $40 he is saying, but there is a trade-off, just for giving a review. The payment doesn't reach that much, and it's just a survey, so it's a bit doubtful.
I think it would be better if we have a user who volunteers to click on the link before other users do. So that the rate at which the users are being scammed or hacked will be reduced. $40 is indeed not so big to risk our identity or wallets. Plus it's not even guaranteed that we are the ones who are going to win, or if we will really get paid if ever.

But, if we are only doing it to volunteer, we can go ahead once all things are cleared that it was truly safe. The OP did already clarify what he was up to, but it will still be better if he will just post the questionnaires here and then escrow the prize money like what some users here suggested, for us to remove our doubts.

Anyone considering to click on that link: don't do it immediately, for security and safety reasons.  Roll Eyes
OP, if you are serious about this survey and the intentions you have on this alledged study, you must be aware or realize you are using a pretty much new account to get people to link on links. You need to find some reliable and recognized member of this forum to serve as holder of those funds you plan to distribute and also allow them to select the winners using a probably fair mechanism. Otherwise, people won't join your survey or only a few will.

To all of the gamblers and users of the forum alike: do not click on a link send on here or in any other thread. Remember,  this forum is a community about Bitcoin and decentralized assets, people who participate here are perfect targets for hackers, scammers and those who would want to steal your satoshis through the seeding of malware on your Personal computer.

Be skeptical, specially if the account sharing links is new and does not have any track record.
Stay safe.  Tongue

I was just trying to give a little reminder to all of us about the nature of this forum and the fact we all are targets for scammers and hackers, this would not be the first time (and won't be the last one) someone tried to spread bad software here in the forum for their own personal gain. Though, I am willing to give OP the benefit of the doubt.
He did not directly make a reference on all participants of the survey to get the prize, as far as I understand, it is some kind of lottery where one has the chance of winning those bucks by simply participating in this survey.
It is kind of amusing OP tried to contact the administrators about his survey and what he tries to do, a little bit of deeper investigation or talking around to more experiences members would have made him realize how things are usually done here for newbies: with the help of escrows and third parties.

If the link is proven to be safe and some escrow gets involved, then I would have no problem participating, that's for sure.

$40 for a 3-minute survey? I am skeptical about this. The old one, if it's too good to be true...

I think many of us would finish the survey just to help, but some small reward is always welcome. If they are not sure "how to do it" they can check how BC.games did it: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bcgame-casino-and-sportsbook-1000-giveaway-live-5476002. Maybe they will find this way to be more attractive.

When someone else checks the link and finds it's ok I will join.

I am a little bit interested with the site but I am not a big time gambler and I only gamble once or twice maybe in a month or more than a month so I can't promise anything good review or something if I will give it a go and also I am having a second thoughts about clicking the link or joining whatever you are starting because of your rank as you are new. When I read the title, I thought it was taking a survey as the title says or a review campaign and once submitted then verified by you or your team then get rewarded with $40 but it's not at all when I read OP but I expected it a little bit since it is posted here in this board and not in service board. It has been done by other platform by the way and rewarding their participants once they review it and approved their submitted entry. Good luck with that mate.

The title of your post says: Join Our Decentralized Gambling Survey - Win $40 in Ether! but in the body of your post you are saying a survey participant may stand a chance to win in a raffle that will be conducted. Please be specific as your title contradicts what your posts says. There's a difference between chance and assurance.

Building on what one of the user said in the preceding comments you should change the reward to bitcoin instead of Ethereum  so your thread will be classified as an altcoin discussion thread. Moreso, the use of an old member of the forum with a known reputation to assist you in managing the escrow account for payment will be a motivation for forum members to have interest in the survey.

Wish you guys luck and welcome to the forum.

Non-custodial BTC Wallet

As for selecting a winner, I suggest bitmover's tool, see: [ANN] Bitcointalk Giveaway Manager

Also, if you wanna remain on bitcoin boards, I suggest changing the reward to BTC otherwise mods will likely move this to altcoin boards

Thanks for mentioning.

Even if you have no reputation in this forum, your giveaway will have more credibility using this tool. As results are provaly fair and easily verified.

I just that being hesitant about clicking on links from unknown sources. Did anyone check it and is it legit? Qualtrics hosts the survey, do you think it is a reputable platform used by many universities and research institutions?

About the opportunity to win $40 Ether, how will the selection process for the raffle be? Is it random or based on the quality of the responses?

“ The lucky winner will receive a reward in the form of Ether, equivalent to 40 USD”?

Do you mean that if 10 experienced users participate in this your survey and they provide useful feedback to you – only the lucky one amongst them will walk away with the $40? Or are you going to give each of them $40 for their contribution?

You should clarify this before anyone gets in with the survey (if anyone is willing to do it despite the fact that you’re new and don’t have any reputation). I for one wouldn’t want a situation where I’ll be faced with the fact of being lucky despite doing my best and providing useful info.

I guess it's pretty much clear as regards this. OP is not saying that each participant will be given $40 in ETH for taking part in the survey. Your participation, and completion to be exact, in the survey means you will "get a chance in our exclusive Ether raffle", "enter a chance to win $40 in Ether". It's just a chance in a raffle, so what you will get is like a ticket or an entry to that raffle, not a guaranteed payment.

Which would make it less interesting to be honest. God knows where else OP posted this and how many participants actually took part. Others might even be joining multiple times. But it's just a 3-minute survey, so others might still want to take part.

The URL is safe, it's using qualtrics a known service for this kind. If you don't want to get tracked ie. your ip address use vpn and a not usually used browser to access the URL.

It's a "raffle" so, yes. The number of winners might be more than one or just one because OP uses "the lucky winner" but its obvious that not everyone who participate the survey will win, again because its a raffle.

We sent a message to the moderators, but have not received a reply (most probably because our account is new). If there are some reliable and recognized members in this forum, that are willing to work with us, please let us know.
I dont know what help exactly you need in bitcointalk, but I think you can contact some of the managers that have positive ratings.
It would be great step forward if you could prove that you are really coming from Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, without exposing your identity.
Does your school have official website?

While it's reassuring completely confidential and anonymous, users may not participate since you didn't guarantee everyone will get $40. You only say anyone who participates will have a chance to win $40 in the raffle. You took that decentralized gambling by heart which people will take time and just fill out your survey and accept to get nothing if they are not randomly chosen. It will be a waste of 3 minutes for them.

So why is the school of economics interested in gathering valuable insights into the behaviors, preferences, and attitudes towards decentralized gambling?

They do need to be more honest in the title and put "Chance to win $40" but other then that, they aren't doing anything wrong. Some people don't mind spending 3 minutes on a survey and having a shot to win some money. Everything shouldn't always be about money anyways, sometimes people should help with a project out of kindness.

Anything you're willing to do is at your own risk and the forum doesn't make any partnership with anyone here, just focus on how you could promote what you're offering, but then you need to understand that members will have to take time in getting other true picture of what you're offering and know how reliable and consistent you're init before giving a try on them, so if I were you, i will work on my reputation first.

I don't think the mods are going to answer on that aspect of things because some of them may have newbies on ignore for messaging so you may be right to say that you have not received feedback from the pm due to your rank.

Then again I will like to know what exactly you mean when you said if members are willing to work with you, they should contact you, because many times, we prefer to see a team making all the offers in an open thread such as this thread, so let see how things goes if yoy may want to open up your offers here.

But if you're an actual human being, it's OK to voice your thoughts here. The most assistance will be yours from this point on. Keep doing what you're doing and saying what you need to, even with your new account. I hope this is a gold mine of information for you.

Please be more explicit about your intended meaning. Would you like 10 veterans to divide the $40 evenly? Can ten individuals make do with $40 each? You must resolve this issue entirely before moving on.
